Try deletng the account from the iPod and re-entering the settings.

1 day ago my iPhone started crashing every time I opened my email. I've tried deleting suspicious emails (quickly before it crashes) but that didn't work. I went out to the web server and deleted the same emails and that didn't fix it either. I've restarted my phone and my phone is up to date on updates. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It's also now happening on my iPad and my husband's iPhone.

Hi, I finally got it fixed and I think that I figured it out. I am sure it was a bid emial that got onto my server so I went to (For Me) comcast.net and cleared my server of all the emails then plugged my phone in and backed it up and then reset it to original settings. That solved all the problems and have not come back. Hope this helps. Phil

You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password. They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary. The call should be free.

Check Settings>Messages>Receive At>Caller ID, make sure it's set to your phone number not your email address.

Help no volume button or silent button workin, no text tones or ringtones but strange the ipod is workin any ideas how to fix this plz

my iphone 4 has just started to play up !! when i go to switch the silent button on nothing **** up on the screen, nor does the volume button do this either. Also i never hear a text when i get it or hear it ringing, but i can play my ipod no probs. - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Settings >> Mail, Contacts. Calendars >> Organise by Thread. Switch to OFF to see every individual email in the Inbox.

What do you do when your iPod won't let you download apps and says invalid accesories?

My iPod touch has been giving me trouble latley. It won't let me download apps and when i try it says incorrect accesory and takes me to edit info when I finish that it doesn't fix anything. Really need help.

Try logging out of your account on the iPod by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

Remove the Mail account. Go to Mail preferences>Accounts>and go the account and delete it. When it's done, go back and add it back.

Go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the email account there. Then add it back again.
If that fails you can set Mail at the email client for iPhoto in iPhoto's General preference pane. Mail is more reliable, gives you a sent copy and has better access to your contacts. It also has photo templates if you need them. They are in the stationary selection menu.

I keep getting emails telling me that I have used 14.5GB of my 15GB but all of my devices say that I have only used 7.2GB. Any ideas how to fix this?

I have not changed anything with any of my iOS devices (iPhone 4s, iPad2) or my Macbook Pro. I have 3.21GB out of 5GB of storage space free so I dont understand why this has happened.

Also, I don’t receive any of her text messages. Though while testing and trying to troubleshoot, I have sent a text message from her phone to my phone and I do hear the text sound message go off on my phone but no text. Though I on my icon, I do see I have 1 new text message and as soon as I click on it, the text message will disappear if it’s from her. Now I have noticed when I call her the history also disappears now. I can call her and she can call me from the phone successfully. Just can’t receive any of her text message and no history is retrieve from my phone. Can anyone please help??? Just to share, I have hard booted both phones, deleted and re-added our contact information and in the ‘Message’ settings, we both have the message ‘on’, Send as SMS ‘on’, MMS Messaging ‘on’ and under the ‘send and Receive’ field, it has my number listed with a 1 and area code…1 (210) xxx-xxxx.
