Don't worry a lot of people, including me, are having this problem. I think it's a problem going on at Apple's end, hopefully it will be up soon.

I have the iPod 5th gen. and my iPod wont connect to my wifi. I've tried everything. i rest my wifi networks and it still wont work. What do I do??
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

For the future, saying you tried everything provides use with zero info as to what you did try. If you really tried everything then there is no way we could help -

My iPod wont connect to my wi fi. It was connected and working fine, it just stopped. There are no wi fi options when I go into settings. I have an iPad and a second iPod that are connected to my wifi and working fine.
Maybe:

If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

TS1398 ipod wont connect to public wifi?
My iPod wont connect to public wifi, but it connects to my home wifi without a problem? how do i fix this??
I believe I may have solved this
When you can't log into public WiFi ...
with an iDevice…
because the Server times out ...
or the login/registration page just won't load ...
********Simply do this***********
Go into settings> WiFi and tap the little info icon for the network you are trying to join
If you see two slider buttons, these are the cause of your woes
One says "Auto Join" (or similar) - you can leave this ON
The second button is "Auto Login" - you must turn this OFF (slide it left so it is grey not green)
Now go back and reselect the network.
If the login page doesn't come up automatically, open a Safari window and enter any address
Bingo!
I have reproduced this issue and solution in 100% of the public WiFi spots which I could previously not access. Please not that I also have "Block Pop-Ups" turned OFF in Settings> Safari, though I do not know if this is a necessary step.
I have filed a bug report with Apple. Feel free to contact them yourselves if this workaround works for you.
Peace y'all

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

My ipod wont connect to the computer but will connect to an ipod stereo
I have a 2nd generation nano that I have had for 2 years, but not used very much. It has always worked fine and still does however it wont connect to the computer at all. I have tried different ipod usb cables and different computers. It will charge and play on an ipod stereo. I would like to be able to hook it up to the computer so I can put more music on it. Has anyone had this problem before?
Update to the newest version of iTunes if that doesn't work
Try uninstalling the drivers,
Plug in your iPod
Right click on My Computer and click on Manage
that will bring you to the Computer Management
On the left hand side click on device manager
on the right side click on the plus sign next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers
it will show a list, in that list locate iPod or USB mass storage device
right click and select uninstall
Unplug your iPod and plug it back in
Windows should automatically start installing them again
if nothing pops up then right click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers
and choose scan for hardware changes -

For the longest time my ipod was in the endless loop of restarting itself. Finally I got it to go to disk mode. however when i plug in the usb it wont connect. XP will make the sound of a device connecting but I cant ever access my ipod.
Another strange thing is that the ipod will start charging for about 20 seconds then stop and begin to drain the battery until dead.
If i reset it, it will bring up the error screen. I have the current updater but cant fully restore it because I cant get it to connect.Still looking for help...

Recently formated, now ipod wont connect!
I recently formated my pc and now when im trying to connect my ipod to itunes, It doesnt connect no mather how long i let it plugged. When i plug it, my computer does say new software found (Ipod) but it just wont connect to itunes so i can put new songs to replace old ones.
When i try to formate to factory settings or updates, says its not contected evan though it is.
I tried to connect it with the usb wire that came with it and with my firewire that came with my Ipower.
It worked very well before I reformated my pc, is there anything i can do?I didnt until this morning, what I did last night is I left my coputer opened. Now im guessing it fully charged my ipod to the max (says soemwhere something like takes 13 hours to charge it to the max) And this morning i check on itunes and I saw my ipod on my itune.
I dont know if it will work with you, i know many have the same issue and it could ne worth trying.
