ok when I try to download them and click buy now is says the network is not working and connecting to the itunes store what do I do so I can download them?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

TS1420 songs i buy on itunes from my ipod wont download and it says "retry" or "done"

i bought albums on my ipod touch and some wont download all the way or it wont even start to download??? what can i do??

I accidentially fixed the problem by connecting the ipod to a USB port and then it went directly into itunes on its own. After that my sound came back. I didn't go into itunes first through my computer icon but let the ipod connect itself which solved my problem.

Updating IPOD after downloading itunes 7

Since downloading Itunes 7, my ipod wont update, its says its updated, but its not. I tried calling the unhelpful helpdesk (25mins waiting)and also tried resetting warnings. Help!!! it was fine until itunes 7. Any suggestions appreciated

My ipod wont download my podcasts??!!

i boutght an i pod form someone 2 weeks ago pretty mutch brand new except for some songs... well i deleted them put my suff on then tryed to put podcasts on but no luck... so i restored my ipod to factory settings and still no luck w/ podcasts i have deleted and re installed my itunes and its up to date but still wont download podcasts to my ipod... ive tryed converting the podcasts but i dont know where the converted 1s went and cit still wont show up on my ipod, i have tryeds every thing so someone just tell me how to get my podcasts on my ipod!!!
p.s. the podcasts are from firebrand .. all episodes are free so if you would like to try it out you maY and i am subscribed to them also

try checking to see if the file type fireband uses for its podcasts can be accepted onto ipod.

Ipod wont download music

When my ipod nano is plugged into the computer it wont pop up the itunes. It will just sit there with the "do not disconnect" sign on. It will still charge but it wont download or even erase songs. Please help!!!!!

Just purchased 2 new iPod touches, thought this was related to setting up 2 accounts for my daughters. However, one works just fine, the other is having the same "unavailable" problem. Smae problem here ??? I have a 60gb ipod video and cannot synch the "for the birds" video purchased from itunes. I have updted all my ipod and itunes software to no avail.
I even went through their tutorial and downloaded the sample .m4v video from their site (their test procedure) and everything with that sample file synched fine.
I suspect that there is some form of protection that is not allowing the "for the birds" video which was purchased to synch to my own ipod.
No error messages are reported.
Any help????

If there's nothing on the iPod you want to keep, use these instructions to restore it, and then see if it will take songs from iTunes. It might also be helpful to reset the iPod's warnings and post back with the text of any error messages, or set the iPod to sync manually. Additionally, enabling disk mode for it and then trying to drag a file onto it in the desktop or the My Computer window might help track down the source of the problem.

IPod wont download or install new firmware

Hey all i just got an ipod touch 8GB from a friend who got an iphone so i wanted to upgrade its firmware to 3.1.3 i paid the 5 bucks or whatever to download it and itunes is giving me this **** message saying it cant even download the files for it. it gives me error 1479 and the more information that pops up when you click the button is completely useless. This is my first apple product so far, i got it for free and i paid for the upgrade instead of just downloading it off a torrent site, any clues on why this thing isn't working? I'm using the latest iTunes 9 just installed it fresh off apple's website
Edit: also restoring gives me the exact same error number 1479 i cant do anything.

When doing OS updates on a PC, it is advised to turn off anti-virus and firewalls until the download is complete and the firmware is installed. Given the state of some of the PC security programs, you may have to disable and reboot before beginning your download/install.

If yours is 8 or 16 GB model it is a 2G. Apple only made 32 and 64 GB 3G iPods. A 32 GB can be either.
