My ipod wouldnt sync so i reset it and now i cant do anything.
itunes would not recognize my ipod touch whenever i conected it. I saw on apples website that i need to update to ios5 so i followed the steps to do that and reset my ipod touch. Now my ipod wants me to connect to itunes, and my computer doesnt recognize that any ipod is even conected too... please assist!

If you mean you can't unlock the iPod's screen then
Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Connect your iPod to iTunes, click on your device, and then click on the "Photos" page. If you don't want any photos on your iPod, make sure the "Sync photos from [photo application]" checkbox is unchecked. Or, you could select specific photos in that page to sync to your iPod.

I just purchased harry potter and the deathly hallows digital copy but i just synced my ipod and its not there. i went back to get the copy again and its says the code can only be used once. I was wondering If I could use my iPhone as an iPod? I factory reset it and now it wants me to activate it.
Connect iPhone to iTunes on computer, it only takes a few seconds to activate the iPhone. Then to save battery you can put the iPhone into Airplane Mode and use as an iPod. If you decide to use iMessage and such you will most likely have to turn Airplane Mode OFF, while using iMessage.

- Transfer iTunes purchased to the new computer:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using one of the third-party programs discussed here:
new PC: Apple Support Communities
- Move a copy of the iPod backup file from the old to new computer. That file is located here:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
- After the stuff is moved/transfered, restore the iPod from the backup you just moved to the new computer and sync as necessary. -
Hi all, I've recently updated my ipod touch to the ios 6 and now i cant seem to use it with my itunes
whenever i connect my ipod to itunes, a notification saying that i need a newer version of itunes. However, when i check itunes for software updates, it seems i have the current version of itunes
I am at a lost of what to do as i can no longer sync my ipod touch with my itunes.

After charging the iPod for half an hour, see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:
