My iPod YouTube doesn't work. What I doing now?

I read the article & did what it says but it didn't work. Then I clicked another page where it said to go if the advice didn't work, and that didn't work either.
The only option left for me is to call I guess.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

The only way to clear off the passcode is to restore the device. You could always try the restore process on another computer that has iTunes just to get the iPod working again, then you could plug it back into your comptuer to sync all of his content back on the iPod.

Anton, I wish I could help. I had an old iPod Classic (60 KB) as a gift but it went dead, I dropped it a few times accidentally, and it sat carefully saved until I had sufficient resources, energy and time to get the matter addressed. In my case, I actually took the thing (after making sure it was charged) to an Apple store and one of the geniuses at the genius bar at the back of the store took it and did a few things (unseen and un-noted) with his fingers and handed it to me with a sly smile. Voila, the thing was functional. I got a re-functionalized iTunes account and store access when I bought my iMac. I did lose a few tunes along the way because it didn't recognize my new iMac as the source (my old dead PC laptop), but I have a more functional memory than the iPod and recovered them all in other ways. The whole thing is humming better than ever. At over 11 gb full, I have 4.2 days worth of portable listening. Be patient; it took me four years to get musical nirvana in a pocket, but you'll get there faster. Call support.

At home when i use my Wi-Fi it work normal, but as soon as i go out, for example on the bus or at work it keeps saying "Cannot connect to Youtube".

I use OverDrive to get audiobooks from my library to listen on my ipod. Does not work since latest update of ipod. Converts the WMA and acts like it is putting it on the ipod but then it isn't there.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.Have yo tried:
- Backing up and restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Go to the OverDrive support site

My 4th gen iPod Touch does not work with Ford sync since updating OS

When I updated my iPod to the new os, it does not work with my ford sync system anymore. how do I fix this?

Have lots of issues with Fords MySync and here's some info that might help....
Using ford sync interface, goto the phone section, then settings, and look if your iPhones name is listed, if so select the phone name thru sync interface and remove/delete it from the sync list, then go thru the Bluetooth pairing process again.
If that doesn't work, do the same on the iPhone, select ford sync entry in Bluetooth and remove sync or forget this device on the iPhone and then go thru Bluetooth pairing again.
If that doesn't work Power off iphone ( not sleep) hold power button till you see red slider to power off. Then restart iphone, try pairing up again.
If that doesn't work go back to MySync and goto phone settings and use the up-down slider till you see sync master reset. Confirm then go thru BT pairing again.
If that doesn't work there is a fuse for the my sync system. Fuse box is usually behind kick panel of front passenger seat side for the Mustang #3, its behind a paper black cover. Remove fuse for 5-30 secs then replace.
Lastly, make sure your MySync Firmware is the latest vers. Mines 4.0.2 goto fords MySync support page to check

A google search might help for your model and year if not a newer mustang and you couldn't get to ford.

Brand new ipod does not work will not sync or power up.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ipod 4g does not work with gps mount anymore, with iOS lower than 6.0.1 it worked

After updating my iPod to iOS 6.0.1 and 6.1 my gps mount does not work anymore. It used to work perfectly.
Have checked with a TomTom app if satelites are connected and it has good connection but navigation app does not work.
All advices given in the community did not help so far.

Downloaded 6.1.3 and IPOD does not work in previous working sound docks. Cannot charge inthose docks now either. They worked fine before download

Reset the dock
See if there is a firmware update available for the dock

Youtube videos do not work in my macbook.
I can goto the website, but when I goto play the video..it does not work...a black box just appears instead of the video.

Infiniti and Acura Auto iPod Interface - Does It Work With iPhone

The Infiniti, Audi and Acura Autos have an optional interface for the iPod that show the playlists etc. on the auto display. Has anyone used their iPhone's iPod mode with these interfaces succeasfully?

I have discovered since my post the iPhone iPod mode DOES work with the Audi just fine. See this link:

The only catch is the iPhone comes up with a message about NOT being compatible with the the accessory. If you wait till the message clears or hit the 'No' button it will then go on and connect and work, according to the Audi article.
This of course assumes Apple has not done something new in the new release of the firmware to prevent working with accessories that are intended for iPod. This might be the case as Apple is very strict about giving details of the iPod interface and may lock out those devices not going through the Apple approval process. This would be a mistake in my opinion if the company has already spent time and effort to do an iPod interface as the iPhone is also sold as having having iPod functionality (but the slave drive piece).
