My ipods wifi, PLEASE HELP ME!....
my iPod's WiFi is usually fine. Today, however,i went on my wifi, got full bars, and still couldnt get on the internet.. i reset my network settings, restored my ipod... it didnt work.. i need some help

You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

ITunes will not add new songs to iPod. Please help!
Hello, my problem is pretty self-explainitory. I have the newest versions of itunes and ipod. When I plug in my ipod it "updates" it fine but once its done the new songs/artists/albums/playlists are not on my ipod.

Matthew.oh my gosh that is like the same thing that happened to me! i just downloaded itunes 7.0.2 yesterday and i bought some new songs and downloaded songs from cds into my library. i clicked "sync ipod" and the songs i downloaded from cds were the only things that went on!!!none of the songs i bought from itunes store went on my ipod!
i made sure i checked them and everything! they just won't go on my ipod!

Alright, when you are attempting to FaceTime someone, are you connected to WiFi? With the iPhone 4, it does not support using FaceTime over the cellular network, you will need to be connected to Wi-fi.

Try this:
you can shift-click (PC) or option-click (Mac) theRestore or Update buttons in iTunes. A file dialog will open and let you choose the downloadedipsw-file. -

I am battling to get my Album Artwork updated in my Ipod Touch - please help?
Just a guess here, but it sounds like iTunes is under the impression that some of the song files it is managing are located on a removable drive. Do all of your songs play from iTunes? That might be hard to know if you have thousands of songs, but if a song was imported into iTunes, but the file was deleted afterward (like if you used removable media), you might get a warning like that, and the song wouldn't play in iTunes. Just a thought.

My ipod touch ios version 6.1.3 will not allow me to connect to my wifi. I tried rebooting my wifi router, refreshing my ipod, resseting the networks and manually logging into my wifi. Sometimes it will go through for a brief moment, but the wifi connection will ultimately disconnect. Each time i try to connect to my wifi afterwards a small pop up will say "Unable to join the network". Please help. it's really annoying and frustrating.

I've restored my ipod both to a backup and back to factory. I know the password is correct,
the router is the newest version (and it's plugged in and on), my ipod is updated, i've turned my wifi settings on and off, i've turned the ipod off and on. No luck yet. I've been working on it for hours now. About ready to sleep on it...maybe some luck will find me tomorrow...

iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
If so then usually an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Other wise prose provide more information:
- Does the iPod see the network?
- Have you tried other networks?
- Error message?

I got this phone for christmas off of ebay. it came unlocked & im using straight talk. this morning the screen began glitching. i googled it and it seems to be a common problem with the iphone4. i did what others said to do & reset my phone. the only problem is that my computer back up did not work. i tried using icloud to back it up but my phone won't connect to any wifi. My Ipod touch wont allow me to get into itunes. So I downloaded some apps through istore onto the itunes on my computer, yet it still wont allow me to sync them to my ipod. You need to restore the iPod on the new computer. You can only sync apps (and some other stuff) from different computers/libraries but you can manage music and some other stuff among different computers/libraries.

I'm having tonnes of problems with my ipod and itunes:
1. I just bought a brand new macbook, and wanted to put all the music from my ipod onto my macbook, So i followed the directions on here for how to do that. incidentally, it did not work, and i was prompt to do nothing else but restore my ipod. Now that i've restored my ipod i can't sync songs from my Macbook to my ipod, and message occurs say " Attempting to copy to disk "LAUR'S IPOD" failed, device could not be read from or written to" The same message occurs on my home PC with windows. I have the latest version of itunes, the latest software on my mac, i've called 1800 they couldnt help, My ipod is still recognized by my computers, and still charges, it just doesnt sync, i've also tried deleting damaged music files too. I've restored my ipod about 3 times and still no luck.
2.I also can never eject my ipod, a message occurs saying " cannot eject ipod, try closing applications first" and there are no other apps open. WHY IS THIS SO HARD!

Also you might try forcing the iPod into disk mode first, then connecting it to your computer and see if that makes it show up in iTunes...
