My IPOHNE5 is losing the network connectivity. I got network lost notification frequently.

My Iphone5 is losing the network connectivity. I got the network Lost notification message many times.
Please support, most of the callers got my phone out of coverage

Yes, and they confirm there is nothing wrong.
And when I replace the handset : the SIM / network coverage was working fine with the same Carrier.

  • Is there any way to get rid off the network lost notifications - really ruins the iPad experience :(

Hey all, I'm getting really frustrated with constantly being notified that the network has dropped, especially when travelling through areas with patchy signal. I know I can turn off 3g but that would mean not using 3G when I need it the most. I think this notification is poorly thought out by apple - why would a user want to be notified every 30 seconds their signal is coming and going? Or indeed ever be notified? Surely that's what the signal bar is for. is there a way to disable this noification? Thanks for the help.

Assuming you're talking about the icons, only the developer can change those... Apple in this case.

  • 'network lost' notification

does anyone know how to switch off the 'Network lost' notification on the iPhone? It drives me mad as it pops up whenever the network is lost for a nanosecond........ stopping any game or video I'm watching at the time. Particularly irritating on the train journey into work in the morning as my video stops at every bridge.
    thanks
    ellie

I get the same thing. Very annoying. On a particular journey I do this pops up frequently even if I'm in the middle of something.
How can I prevent this message? I know I travel through some patchy signal areas. I don't want reminding every two mins...!

  • Any solution to the network lost popup yet? Mine is driving me crazy?

Any solution to the network lost popup problem? Mine is driving me crazy!

With all the issues you describe, I would search for something conflicting with Mountain Lion.
Have you booted into Safe Mode and checked to see if it works correctly there? It will take a while to boot, and it will run a bit slow, so just look for the issues you described above. If they don't appear, you've got something installed that is causing the issues.

  • Frequent Network Lost Notification after upgrade to 3.1.3

I bought my iPhone in Saudi Arabia, there isn't an Apple Store here, not really too much technical support at the service provider I bought the phone from. I updated my phone yesterday to 3.1.3 and since then, I can't go through one hour without a network lost notification. I've had signal issues earlier as well, but they weren't nearly as bad. When I'm connected to WiFi at home through my phone, there are no network issues, for hours together, as soon as I disconnect, the notification is there again. Most people complain that they can't get through to my phone when they try calling. I have been using the phone in the same places as I was before the update.
    HELP!

I have this same problem and I am in America... I have random disconnects' and in my case it is WiFi disconnects. I never had them before 3.1.3.
    Any possible solutions for this??

  • I have an IMAC that runs OS 10.6.7.  I use Netgear for wireless. My computer keeps losing the network, so I can't use wireless.

I have an IMAC that runs OX 10.6.7. I use NEtgear for wireless. I have a laptop and Ipod that I use on the wireless. Recently, my desktop computer shows that it is searching for the wireless system (on the router). I contacted Netgear. They talked me into buying another router and their technical contract. Nothing is working. I can plug my  5200 modem directly up to my desktop , and the  network is fine, but the wireless, of course, is not plugged in. When I go to connect the wireless, it doesn't work. This is not a computer program per se, nor is it a router program because sometimes it will work. It seems to me that the computer and router are not working together to hold the settings.
I have attempted to download the latest software for my computer, i.e., Imac graphics fireware. Each time I try, it says that the extensions are not valid for my computer.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Vicki

    Imac graphics fireware.
Did you mean to say firmware? You should only install firmware updates when offered to you via Software Update; other than that, whatever is offered is not appropriate for your model.
As for your Netgear router - I have a Netgear and set it up manually on their web interface setup site (the address should be in your manual). Did you call your ISP so they will recognize that there is a router involved? Sometimes my iMac also does not want to communicate with the router; however, my Macbook and printer have no problem. I solved the problem by connecting things this way:
cable from wall to modem > cable from modem to router > cable from router to iMac. The other things are wireless.

  • Losing the network over airport extreme

We have an airport extreme base station (802.11g) that is nearing 6 years of use. We occassionally lose the network connection to our machine from our airport extreme, both on the ethernet connection and the wireless. To get it back, we disconnect power from the base station, and then re-power it. The base stations resets and we reconnect.
However, this past month we've had to perform this operation more often, and it has been four or five time this weekend alone. This last reset was three since the previous reset.
I'm wondering if my base station is dying of old age? How can I effectively troubleshoot this issue? The manual doesn't seem to cover my symptoms.
    Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the discussion area, Ray!
The symptoms you are describing indicate that you are likely picking up wireless interference from another source...perhaps another wireless network, cordless phone or security system...which is causing the network to slow down and lock up.
The first thing to check as a culprit is your cordless phones (if you have them). Pick a time when you can leave them off for a day or so and see if your network performance improves. If it does, you likely have your answer. Move the phones as far away as possible from the router or any computers. Or, you may need to look at new phones that do not use the 2.4 GHz band that wireless networks do.
You won't be able to do much about the issue if it is a neighbor's phone that is causing the problems. In the past, my neighbor...across the street...could literally bring my network to a standstill instantly if he was in his front yard talking on his cordless phone. Luckily, he moved.
To get an idea if there may be other wireless networks near you that are interfering with your network, download a utility like iStumbler. Look for other wireless networks and note the channel they are using. Then set your wireless network to a channel that is as far away as possible from other networks.
Unfortunately, iStumber cannot detect a "hidden" network if a user has chosen the option on his router to not allow his network name to be displayed. And, iStumbler cannot detect nearby wireless security systems at the neighbors' or cordless phones, so it will be somewhat of a guessing game to figure out where the problems might be coming from.
For more causes of interference, which is becoming a massive problem due to the growth of wireless, see this Apple Support Document:

ive already tried making it new but it still looses connection, while im next to the router it works just fine but if i go to a room away from the router it doesnt work.

    Try Resetting your Network Settings.

Resetting the Network Settings brought it back to normal.

  • E65 losing the network

I have a new E65 since december 2007 and it loses the network every now and then for 30 minutes or even some hours. This happens almost every day and I am not able to make any calls or receive calls. This happens in places where the network is surely available. In case I ´move my SIM-card to another phone, there is no problems with the network. Any help available?

I am starting to have similar problems. I have had my E65 for nearly a year now with no problems up to last weekend and have the latest firmware 3.0633.69.00.
I have hard reset the phone, reinstalled the firmware, removed all running apps, formatted the memory card, got a new sim card, basically tried everything that I can think of but the signal keeps on dropping and occasionally get sim card registration failed.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I can do (possible component failure?) as this phone need to last for another 4 months till I get the E66.
ps please don't reply with taking it nokia service point as this will be an expensive waste of time IMHO

  • Knowing When the Physical Connection to Oracle is lost....

I am using ODP.Net for Query Notification Change in my application.
I need to know when the physical connection to the oracle is lost.
Scenario is we use cached data, so i have to continuously monitor any changes in table.
But when network connection is lost then no notification is received from oracle.
Even after connection is regained, the previous notifications (i.e. when there was no connection) are lost.
How can i make sure that no notifications are lost????

Here are a few things to check/try:
    1. Does Tuxedo 6.5 work fine on AIX and does Tuxedo 9.0 work on AIX?
    2. Have you checked the RM entries for Oracle and SQL Server on AIX where the issue is happening?
    3. Try rebuilding TMS for RMs
    4. Any errors at Oracle/SQL Server logs

  • Losing the wireless network

I am using my Apple TV wireless on a g network to a mac mini via a b/g hub. So far three times in the last week i've come home and turned on the tv connected to the apple tv and noticed that the connection to the network is off. When I look at the network settings I can see my home n/w on the list but its just not connected and I have to reenter my WPA password for it to reconnect. After doing this all seems to work great... until the next time it fails a day or two later.
I've got 2 other mac's connected wirelessly to the mini on the hub and have no issues there at all.
Anyone else seeing this kind of issue, or have any idea what could be causing it?

I agree. I am having the same problem. For whatever reason, the AppleTV drops the wireless connection (even though it's literally 4 feet from the AP) and when I go to reconnect to the network, I have to re-input the key.
Apple, please update this function to retain the security key so that when we tell it to reconnect to the network we don't have to input the key again. VERY annoying.
Not terribly happy about it losing the wireless connection, but that is less annoying than the AppleTV not remembering the security key.

  • Domain users cannot connect to the network folders when logged in via rds remote apps

    Hi,
recently I setup an RDS farm for remote apps on server 2012 r2.
all users can connect to the apps published. no problems there.
but when users connect via rds they cannot connect to the networkfolders and cannot store the resultance of there work (docx and xlsx files)
all users are normally connected to the networkfolders using a small login batch file handing down the unc path needed. when I log in as domain admin, also using a login batch, connections are setup correctly. It seems to me to be an security issue on the
    rds session host.
    how to alter this?

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
We use WMI to communicate with the RDSH server. Various issues can cause WMI to deny access or return error codes. Here's a few things you can try:
    1.  Check if the "TS Web Access Computers" security group on the RDSH server has incorrect permissions in DCOM and/or WMI:
       For checking DCOM security settings:
       1. Start the Component Services MMC snapin
       2. Navigate to Component Services -> Computers -> My Computer
       3. Right-click on My Computer and select properties
       4. Go to the COM Security tab
       5. Under Access Permissions, click the Edit Limits button
       6. Ensure that TS Web Access Computers is in the list, with all of the permissions set to “allow”.
       7. Under Launch and Activation Permissions, click the Edit Limits button
       8. Ensure that TS Web Access Computers is in the list, with all of the permissions set to “allow”.
       For checking WMI security settings:
       1. Start the WMI Control MMC snapin
       2. Right-click the WMI Control node and select properties
       3. Go to the Security tab
       4. Navigate to Root->CIMV2->TerminalServices
       5. With TerminalServices selected, click the Security button
       6. Ensure that TS Web Access Computers is in the list with Execute Methods, Enable Account, and Remote Enable set to "allow"
    2.  Verify the RD Session Host server's firewall allows WMI calls.
    3. Verify that the RD Connection Broker hasn't lost its trust relationship with the domain.
    4. See if non-RDS related WMI calls can be successfully made to the RDSH server. This can help differentiate between a general WMI issue and an issue calling the RDS WMI provider.

  • My Net900 keeps losing wired Ethernet Connection after windows 10 upgrade

Since I updated to windows 10, my router keeps losing the wired connection. WiFi is working fine, but I have to reset the router constantly to get wired connection working.  Any suggestions?

    Hello,
That's weird. I'm experiencing issues with the wireless on my laptop after updating to windows 10.
Do you have any other device that you can check the wired connection? I would like to check if this is a specific issue with Windows 10 or is the router it self with any device using a wired connection.
