My iTouch 4 wont sync with my itunes. help !

i tried almost everything to make itunes detect my itouch. but it only detects the camera. it wont detect the device. i have tried re installing the itunes 3 times but it wont help. tried restoring my itouch and still no use. i am currently using windows xp service pack 3. please help me. thanks.

May be a problem with the iPhone itself, then. You can take it into an Apple Store (it helps to make a reservation first). If that's not convenient, you can call AppleCare back and try again - request a new phone.

I own a 2007 GL with an iPod adapter. My iPhone couldn't charge or play music through the adapter until the 2.1 update. After a complete new restore of my iPhone, the iPhone's music will play, however, as I expected it will not charge. Regarding BT through the MHI Puck, the iPhone will sync the Contacts & Call Lists, I now have full control through the steering wheel controls, and sound is much better than the 2.0.x FW. Through the 2.1 update, I effectively had reset all network and BT connections; be sure to reset all of your settings on the iPhone and re-pair it again, if you use a BT MHI Puck. And, be sure to wait a bit - the first pairing took about 3 minutes, the subsequent pairings are complete in about 20 seconds.
Not available on this side of the pond (yet, AFAIK), MBZ has an iPhone 3G cradle adaptor for a lot of the newer MBZ vehicles (sadly, not the GL). Mercedes' part number is 204 820 23 51. The cradle plugs into the UHI connector (option 386). More at:

My iphone 5 wont sync with new itunes

I tried adding the songs and playlists on my phone to the new itunes, and not all my songs and playlists are being added with no error messages or reason. Anyone have a solution or also having this problem? Im using windows 7 ultimate and like i said, the new itunes

2G iPhone wont sync with new iTunes

I’ve had my phone for several months now and I haven’t had any problems syncing songs from iTunes to it. But since I’ve downloaded the new iTunes it will not sync up anymore. Instead of the normal chime when connecting the phone, it does a real quick triple chime instead. Then it immediately makes the sound of it being disconnected. So I was wondering if there was any secret way to fix it. I’ve looked for troubleshooting on apple.com and Google, and nothing has solved it yet.

I've already tried that. I have done it twice since the new iTunes came out. I'm not really sure what else there is to do.

Iphone 4s wont Sync with my itunes

I am trying to sync my iphone 4s to my itunes on my macbook pro so I can back it up as I dont have any space left on my iphone, when I try and back it up on itunes it says starting sync and then it goes back to nothing and gives the option to press back up again and so I try it again and it says starting sync for a second or two and then it goes off again, Ive tried all sorts to get this to work and last resort is taking it to an apple store but thought would try on here first.

My Itunes fails to indicate that my Iphone is connected now. Last backup and sync was a week ago.
Itunes is 11.4. Iphone is 3GS 6.1.6. Could be a similar issue.

It says that my itunes is not connected to the internet but my laptop is connected to the internet. Whenever I seek the option to sync my ipod it won't let me click on it (the area is shaded & not giving me the option) At first I thought it was my firewall blocking it but it isn't so I'm really not sure what the problem is. Not dumb! Tap and hold down your finger on one of the icons until they all start to wiggle. You will then see a little "x" in the upper left-hand corner of the icon. Tap on that to delete the app!

HELP Iphone synced with another itunes HELP

I get this message when i try to drag music from my itunes to my iphone. I had to rebuild my computer and so reinstall itunes, im guessing that is why im getting this message.
Is there a way to deautherise my iphone from the old itunes so i can put music on from this new itunes. i dont have the music that is currently on the phone on my pc so am reluctant to wipe it and then re sync.

I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive
