My itouch 4g isn't showing the body of my email

i open an email. it shows the subject but not the body of the email. worked fine up till a couple of weeks ago.

You should see a horizontal line going across below the list of emails, click on it and drag it up.

Well it depends on what webmail client you're using. If you're using yahoo, then there is no way to do it. I asked them a couple of years ago and they replied back that they had no plans in the future for the option embed a picture in their mail. if you're using Hotmail, there is a program called Live Mail Client that will let you embed a picture in your email but it's only for Windows. Maybe in the Future they will build one for Mac OS's. Not sure about Gmail.

You cannot. (A few email programs might show it automatically; you cannot stop that either).

How do I paste a photo ( jpeg) into the body of my email message- I can do it in Internet Explorer bu can't in Firefox

I can open up a photo from my "Pictures" file In Internet Explorer, copy it, then paste it into the body of my email message ( I use Earthlink webmail). I see the picture fine.
When I try to do the same procedure by opening, copy and pasting in Firefox, a box appears with a photo icon, but no photo. Even when I press "view image" it will not show the picture.
What am I missing?

Send text file content as the body of an email using Send-MailMessage

I am taking the last 8 lines of a bunch of robocopy logs and bunching them together.

I then wanted to use this as the body of an email (send-mailmessage). It all works but the formatting is lost in the email. I've tried using Out-String and ConvertTo-HTML with little luck.
If I look at $a in the above it looks fine in the PowerShell console it's just lost when it reaches my inbox.
I am using v2 of PowerShell and sadly can't upgrade it.

The issue isn't that part. It's the content of the log files that loses its formatting.

ppress and hold on email section until the select and select all show up. Ussually I select text and then hit paste instead.

Why can't I see the body of my emails--new or old?

My emails are coming through, but today, all of a sudden, I can't read any of them. When I open mail all I get is the From & To Line showing. The body of the email is blank--even old emails that I have read and saved are not showing the body of the mail.

I know how to link a web url, but I cannot find a way to link an email address in the body of an email. I want the recipient of my email to be able to click on the email address that is displayed in my message and have it open a new email to that address on their computer like I have done in every other mail software. The problem is defining what it even means to “embed” a PDF file in the body of an e-mail, especially if you are dealing with a multiple page PDF file.
E-mail is either pure text, rich text (something akin to RTF in Word), or HTML. PDF is not compatible with any of these. Thus, to embed a PDF file, something has to be converted and that means the PDF would be converted to a less graphically rich raster format. But is that what you would really want?
I think that the MacOS and iOS e-mail clients do under some circumstances place an attached PDF file within HTML segments and by clicking on same, you get the equivalent of extracting the full PDF file, but I have no real experience with that.
Another alternative is HTML with a proxy image with a hyperlink to an external PDF file that is invoked when you click on the hyperlink.
Perhaps you can explain what you are really trying to accomplish and what the recipient of such an e-mail's actual experience would be?

First of all, much help for Thunderbird refers to menus which may not be visible. It would help you and us if you have your menus and toolbars visible.

I can't click on emails addresses in the body of an email

On my Blackberry, if someone sent me an email with another persons email address in the body of the email i would place my cursor on it and click and the phone would crete a new email with that address in the To: section.
I am unable to click on email addresses in the body of my emails on my iPhone.
Is there a setting i can adjust to make this happen?

Well..i think i figured it out.
The emails i send from ENTOURAGE with email addresses in the body will not allow me to click on them from my iPhone.
I just tried sending myself an email through GMAIL with an email address in the body and I was able to click on the address from my iPhone
It must be some setting in ENTOURAGE
If anyone knows how to solve that I welcome the advice!

Is it possible to send a Acrobat form in the body of an email? I would like the receiver to be able to reply with the completed form in the body of the email. It’s important that we get the completed form back as a message body and not an attachment.

Yes, it is, but it requires using a script. Basically you would collect the form data into a script and then you can use the mailMsg() method to send an email.
However, if the users are using Reader then you can't use that method and will have to submit the entire PDF as an attachment to the message, using the mailDoc() command, as well as populating the form data into the email body.
The only other option is to use a "mailto:"-URL, but that has a character limitation so you can't send much data.

Can I copy a spreadsheet from Numbers into the body of an email message?

When I copy the Numbers spreadsheet calendar to the body of an email message, it loses all borders and formats and looks like a word salad. You can't change the behavior of copy/paste when the destination is unaware of the Numbers specs.
I know that the mail.app available under Mac Os X 10.5 is able to do some kinds of formatting but
(a) I don't know which
(b) I don't know how they are reflected if the target program is not the same mail.app.
