My itouch doesn't recognize our wi-fi?

I bought our kids an ITouch. We have an Airport Extreme. The iTouch doesn't recognize the Network. I know it works, however, because it recognizes other networks. My Ipad recognizes our Home Network. What do we need to do?

Try:
- Powering off and then back on the router.
- Resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Resetting network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Sounds like you should be directing this question to Google since it's their app and their hardware (chromecast).

Apple drives in MacBooks do not support mini DVDs. They cannot be injected or ejected properly. Some of them work in tray-loaders like on the Mac Pro.

My curve doesn't recognize my phone #.

just got a curve 8320 (at&t). i started using it with my old sim card, and it recognizes my ph#. i just switched to a new sim card (still at&t), but now the device doesn't recognize my ph# anymore. it just says "My Number: Unknown Number." the phone works just fine, i'm able to dial out and receive calls, but it's a bit annoying that it doesn't know my ph#. any ideas? thanks.

Siri doesn't recognize my daughter's nickname... Never spells it right.

My daughter's name is Alison, and I have a contact for her and have told Siri she's my daughter. Her nickname, is Ali and is entered into the nickname field in Contacts. Siri doesn't recognize it. If I say, "Send a text to Ali," she says "To whom should I send it?" If I use the name "Ali" in a document, email, or text, I get "Allie" or "Alley" but never "Ali." There is no phonetic nickname field. I've tried phonetic first name, but it doesn't work. Short of listing her first name as "Ali" (getting rid of "Alison" altogether) and using the phonetic first name field (which some users have suggested doing but with only mixed results), is there any way to teach Siri to spell Ali's name correctly and to recognize her nickname when being asked to perform actions? This is a minor but persistent nuisance. Thanks for any help you all may have!

You may find SIRI to be a slow learner. Who, BTW, is akin to Skynet of Terminator fame. The phone's main involvement is digitizing your mumblings and handing all over to some processing center God-knows-where, for military-grade technology to try and come up with something to utter back. If it can't contact the mother ship, it will time out and spew the generic "can't help you now, try later" blurb. All this courtesy of the Stanford Research Institute who developed this for the US/DOD a few years back. Hence the moniker. Back to our regularly scheduled programming after this history flash.
Have patience and Silly Siri may eventually get it. It's supposed to learn.

Device doesn't recognize battery

Hi, I am using the BB Curve 9360 and I stumble upon a serious problem. After doing a regular battery pull, my device doesn't recognize the battery anymore. It shows the battery with red X huge centre of screen each time I put it back in. Now I can't use my device anymore and I just used it for 1 year. I updated to OS 7.1 bundle 1647 last week and then this problem shows up. I'm stuck. Help me please

A battery is required for our devices it will not damage our Battery .As in your Case it may be possible that your Battery is Completly Drained out so if possible arrange a good quality fully charged BB Battery to if the problem is within your device or the Battery itself.Also try Charging your Old battery for a minimum 4 to 5 hrs and see if it works

Safari Doesn't Recognize Symantec VIP Plugin

Our company uses Symantec VIP for authentication. I've just installed a fresh instance of Mac OS Mavericks and setting things up. I've tried to install the Symantec plugin, but Safari doesn't recognize it. It continually asks me to reinstall, but nothing. In Firefox it works fine.
Any ideas why Safari wouldn't recognize this? Driving me nuts.

If these are new original DVD, you should bring your system in for alignment. If they are copied DVDs, the drive that made them may be out of alignment and your good drive can't read the bad copy. There is also another issue you may be talking about. Many DVD movies are assigned a country code and will not run on a machine from another country. This was intended to prevent piracy.

Rosetta Stone doesn't recognize my internal mic

I have a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.7.1) and I'm running Rosetta Stone Version 3, but it doesn't recognize my internal microphone at all. When I got to Audio Settings > Available Microphones, nothing shows up at all. How do I fix this?

It's look like that new disk was used at array with FW 7.x and have new version of DACstore.

For check:
Connect serial cable to array controller, set boudrate. Reseating one new disk.
message like:

means that is true.
Possible solution: Connect CSM200 directly to server and clear disk. ( dd for example).
For test - start with 1 disk and check.
After - Connect CSM200 back to 6140 and check this disk.

BIOS doesn't recognize HD

We have different of this PC's in our factory.
Before, my colleague did all the fixes if there were problems. Now he has left the company...
So my problem: this pc has a faulty harddisk. I have some spare parts, also this harddrive.
Harddrive = Western Digital WD800JD
This spare part has already the whole system on it (sysprep).
But..if I mount this harddisk in the pc: bios doesn't recognize it ???
I have a offline USB/SATA-convertor, and if I put this new HD on it, and connect to my LaptopK, I have a folder on my PC with al the data on the harddisk: so hard-disk is ok.
What can I do?

By any chance could this hard drive have been connected to a system where Build 9879 of Windows 10 Technical preview was installed? When Build 9879 was first released, on some systems Power Up in Standby (PUIS) was enabled on some hard disks, preventing them from being seen by some systems where the spin-up command was not passed to the disk. In this scenario, the USB device could be issuing the necessary spin up command. See this Microsoft Community thread for the official details.

Jar doesn't recognize another jar

Hi I packed my java class and additional files into a jar file, using the eclipse.
The class I packed uses another jar file. it works fine.
the problem is with my new jar that I created, since it doesn't recognize the other jar that the class uses and can't use it,
Although I included the other jar in my class path in the eclipse.
i don't know how to make that the new jar will know the other jar.
