My itouch only stays at 10% battery, why wont it charge anymore?

I plugged my itouch in and left it for hours only to come back and find it has only charged to 10% of its battery. I tried plugging it into the ihome, my laptop, and my dads computer and its not charging. Will I have to buy a new battery?

I am really disapointed with my MacBook Air. I bought it around two years ago and every three months I need to do something to fix it. First was my source, it did not work and need to buy a new one after searched in 5 shops in Brasília/ Brazil. After this was the screen, full of waves and dark spots. Next was the keyboard which went out of order and I need to change by a new one (20 days waiting for the service in Goiânia/Brazil). Now was the battery, which is not charging! And the support told me to change and more 20 days waiting for the repair. When I bought my first Mac I really think that I never have so many problems. Anyone has the same issues?

Your dsplay is getting extended onto the external monitor. Chcnage the setting to duplicate it or only display on the external monitor and you should be fine,

Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good. If your computer/iTunes does not recognize the iPad, then the cable is probably bad.

One day, my bookmarks tabs just stopped working. I only have 12 pages bookmarked, why is not working anymore? I can't click the star, or manually do it.

It used to work, but now when I go to click the star, it turns yellow for about half a second, but won't click and bookmark it. I cannot bookmark it manually under the tab either, it simply does not click--no option comes up, and nothing is saved. I didn't turn anything off, it just stopped working, randomly.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Why Wont AbBlock work anymore?

I just installed Snow Leopard, (I KNOW, Im running behind) and I cannot get AdBlock to work on here. I had it before, I honestly thinks its the best thing since Microwave Pizza. Seriously, All kidding aside, Im sick of my web pages Spewing Ads at me, Can someone help me get it working?
Im Running, MAC OS X 10.6.8. I would prefer not to install Mavericks, I happy with my system the way it is.
If I cannot use AdBlock, is there an Equal?

After I downloaded it I went to open it, my Mac would not open it, it in stead asked my which Application I'd like to use to open it but it only highlighted ones that didnt work. Does that make Sense?
Here is a pic, maybe that helps. Im sorry for the late reply. I'd like to reinstall AdBlock again, because I've used it for so ling now I really dont wanna try anything else. Again, if this helps, I just installed new Ram, SSD and Snow Leopard. If I must install Mavericks to get Adblock working I will I just didnt want to. This is my Writing and Photo editing Computer, I dont do a lot of Apps or Surfing on it so I just wanted to stay basic.

Battery is not more charged

Hi,
having run my 2847-btg for some time on battery I connected the psu in order not to drain the battery completely. Eventually, I realized that the battery is not being charged anymore, but stayed in its 20% charged status. I then drained it completely, but when connecting the psu back the power indicator flashes yellow in a 1s cycle and does not charge.
The question I have is it a fault on the mainboard or of the battery?
The battery is rather new with no wear level. It is a compatible battery from Sanyo that worked fine up to now. Probably the fault occurred , when I connected the psu, since a a spark occured when connected with the mains. A spark happening when connecting the psu with the mains is however quite normal.
Of course I know, that the easiest way to find out the problem would be to try anaother battery or to place the battery in another Thinkpad. Unfortunately, I do not have access to these possibilities. So may be someone has had a similar experience and might want to tell how to resolve the problem.

When you go into the Lenovo Solution Center/ThinkVantage Power Manager and check the Battery Health (while the battery is plugged in of course) what is the health? any error messages?
Have you tried a static discharge? I have personally used this method when I have encountered the "plugged in and not charging" with success. This can be performed by:
Unplug the power supply
Remove the battery
Disconnect any cords or express cards
Press the power button 10 times, and on the 10th press hold it for 30 seconds
And have you by chance performed a battery guage reset?
Lastly, have you made sure you BIOS are up to date?

Battery will not fully charge.

My battery will not fully charge anymore. Also, it seems that my phone has a hard time charging because sometimes the bolt will not show even when it is plugged in so it seems like something is loose. I am going to go to Verizon today to have them look into it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you been able to try a different cable, it a different cable does the same thing then it is probably and issue with the port on the device.

This is either a Phone issue or an Electrical issue in your home.! when charging Do you always use the same electrical outlet? or did you try others..
You will know or should know if there are any issues with your other Electronics.. that you Plug into it..
If it is the s5 which it sounds like it could be then the Local Verizon store at there Discretion will determined if replacement is needed you have a 1 year Manufactures Warranty that covers for things like what your Describing I would take it too your local store see if they'll get you a Replacement or you may have to go through Samsung..
But I would Try another OUTLET just to see if your phone charges with it.. And Good Luck b33

I assume you have checked your sleep settings in System Preferences>Energy saver
I also assume this has just happened recently and spontaneously, not after installing any particular hardware or software or you would probably have mentioned it...if anything new has been added recently, obviously just remove it!
It could be the battery - have your tried it just on mains? If it's a pre unibody MacBook try it without the battery at all. This could happen if you have a non-Apple (cheap Chinese) replacement battery.
Try NVRAM, PRAM & SMC resets (Google if you don't know how)
Try booting from the install media and repairing or reinstalling OS X. (Back up first!)
Just out of interest if you boot from a DVD or go into Open Firmware or Boot Select modes, does it still sleep after 30 seconds or is it just in OS X?

My ipod needs to be restored but it only stays on the "connect to itunes" for approximately 20 seconds and then turns black as if it is turned off.

So a couple of months ago, I had to restore my new IPOD 5 TOUCH because i had forgotten the password and disabled it, so as you can imagine I am quite familiar with restoring it.
(The last time I had synced it was the only time that I had to restore it when I first got it when I had disabled it)
This morning I wanted to sync my ipod. So I plugged my ipod into my WINDOWS computer and waited for itunes to open, and it did just like it is supposed to. It then said itunes needed the latest update so i continued with updating it. Itunes updated, but then said that my ipod needed the latest software. I said "ok update" and thats when itunes made my ipod into DFU mode without me even touching it.
SOOOO as you can imagine I was quite upset. I then have realized that because Itunes had moved it into DFU mode on its own, I could not manually get my ipod out of DFU mode so the only thing i was left to do was go ahead and restore it. (correct me if Im wrong)
My huge issue right now is that my ipod NEEDS to be restored, but it only stays on the "connect to itunes" screen for approximatley 20 seconds and then turns black as if it has been turned off. When I plug it into my computer and turn it on to the "connect to itunes" mode, it does open it in itunes and starts "extracting sofftware" but then when it turns black after 20 seconds, it closes out because my computer thinks it has turned off.
I have tried charging it, and nothing has progressed. Im not sure if anything can be done for it right now, or if I could bring it to an apple store to fix it... it's brand new about 3 months old.
HELP and some advice would be greatly appreciated !

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
