ITunes 11 is not syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar on my iPhone 5 on a Windows 7 PC.
I have tried a number of things such as:
Repairing the outlook.pst file with scan pst.exe. This did not work.
Uninstalling all apple software on the PC and then reinstalling it. This did not work.
Turning addins off and on in outlook. This did not work.
Changing outlook.pst files. This did not work.
Replacing iPhone content with content on PCM. This did not work.
Restoring the iPhone does not work.
    Nothing works.
I have been working on this issue for a couple of days. It is driving me crazy. I am inches from formatting my hard drive.
Everything worked fine until the most recent iTunes update.

Same here. Spent about an hour trying various solutions to similar problems on other forums before discovering this one, which matches my symptoms exactly. iPad doesn't have this issue, only iPhone 4S.
My iTunes Match renews in two days. This is about the umpteenth disappointment with the service. I almost certainly won't be renewing now.

  • Syncing with Outlook 2007 Calendar

    Hi All,
I guess that there have been loads of topics raised against this subject. If anyone can help ....
iPhone 3GS (4.1 loaded) with iTunes 10 - attempting to sync with Outlook 2007 calendar on Windows XP. Getting the following error :com.apple.Outlook.client.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
No problems (so far) with Contacts.
    Help please !

Just got my first iPhone a few days ago. I use it to sync to Outlook 2007. The first few syncs went fine, but now changes in either the Outlook Calendar or the Calendar App are not synced to the other. The sync completes without problem (or success).
I guess I'm not the only one having this problem, which is worrying. Even more worrying is the fact that no one seems to be able to resolve this. If it's broken, tell us, and let us know when it's going to be fixed. The fact that we're being ignored is extremely poor...
There's also no documentation I can find about where to look for logs for possible errors, what else might be happening.

  • IPOD not syncing with Outlook 2007 Calendar

    Hello:
I have an iPOD video 30gb. The latest firmware (1.2.1) is installed and I'm using version 7.1.1.5 of iTunes on Windows XP Pro SP2. I'm trying to sync my contacts and calendar with Outlook 2007 (full enterprise edition).
I read a lot of discussion threads and KB articles. I even talked to a tech support person, but no one has been able to help yet. I have disk use enabled and syncing with Microsoft Outlook contacts and calendar set.
My contacts transfer fine, but my outlook calendar does not sync with my iPOD.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be happening and how to fix it?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Peter

  • Palm Treo no longer syncs with Outlook 2007 calendar

Foolishly I upgarded to Office 2010 not realising that my Palm won't sync with Outlook 2010. I reverted back to Office 2007 but now my Treo won't sync with the calendar. All else appears okay. I get the following message:
This handheld is associated with a differentprofile. To synchronize with that profile, close Outlook and synchronize again. To use this device with current Outlook profile, open the Hotsync custom dialogue and change the conduit settings to use this Outlook profile. See the Oultlook conduit help for details.
The conduit settings only allow me to change which over-writes which - computer or Treo. When I chnage to get the computer to over-write (as this is where my up-to-date info is, the same message appears. I going to get an iPhone soon if I can't get help. This is crazy.
    Someone out there help...please.
Post relates to: Treo 680 (Unlocked GSM)

If I understand correctly, then the old Outlook 2003 is no longer available to you. If that's the case, then all of your information should have been taken from your local outlook 2003 and put into the new outlook 2007 exchange. The only way you can sync with exchange is by using EAS. You will need the server address, domain name, and the username/password you use to log into outlook. I expect you may not have some of this information, which is where your IT department will be able to fill in the blanks. You won't need to use the Treo for email, but now that outlook 2003 is gone, that isn't an option for your contacts/calendar/notes anymore. When setting up the EAS on your device, it will ask what you want to sync, and you can select/deselect the options you prefer.
Hope this clarifies things a little bit.

  • Syncing my Outlook 2007 Calendar

I have a current gen touch and I can not get my Outlook calendar to sync. I have my mail and my contacts with no problem. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem with Outlook 2010 (32-bit). I never had any problems syncing my iTouch calendar or contacts until a few days ago. I added new appointments but they won't update in my iTouch calendar. I checked out my Outlook Add-Ins and the iTunes Outlook Addin is there but the *Outlook iTunes Sync Addin is missing*. It's not in disabled items either. *Are any of you missing that Addin?*
I tried unchecking the calendar sync option on my iTouch then removing the calendar from my iTouch and rechecking the sync box but it only put all the previous appointments in, not the new ones.
I tried uninstalling iTunes and all the components then reinstalling but that didn't work either.
I also got a new iTouch (for other issues it had) and it synced the old calendar but not the new appointments.
    Anyone have any ideas?

  • Syncing w/ Outlook 2007 Calendar

My Outlook Contacts sync fine with my IPod Nano, but my Calendar will not sync. It did work once or twice when I first loaded Office 2007, but it has not worked to sync my Calendar since. When I run Sync IPod, it opens MS Outlook and says that it's Syncing the Calendar, but then when I open my Calendar in my IPod, it's blank. I've updated my Apple and MS software as of today. Any Ideas?

    Hi manderson79,
Make sure the PC has the latest software updates available. Also install the latest version of iTunes(8.1) and iPhone software(2.2.1).

This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692 provides general tips that will resolve most calendar syncing issues on a PC.
Try to isolate the issue if it persists after trying the general tips and updating the software.
Does the iPhone sync correctly with Outlook when the Junxure software is not being used?
Does the issue only occur in one user account on the PC? The article I linked above will walk you through creating another user account.

  • Sync Outlook 2007 Calendar

In the Outlook contacts, when you put the birthday on "John" contact it automatically creates a entry on calendar with the name "John's Birhday".
Now when you sync your outlook 2007 calendar with iphone, those "john's Birthday" entries does not appear on IPhone.
    Does anyone knows why ?

I am so angry with Apple I could scream!
I bought the first iPhone the day it came out and spent a month, and more hours than I care to remember, working with the Apple technicians before they finally got the phone to synch with Outlook, as it was advertised to do.
Apple does not adequately test their products, especially software, before shipping it. We got the phones the same day at their technical support people.
And now with the new 2.0 software release, the SAME PROBLEM is back!!! The same frustrated users trying to get the product to work as advertised with the same software bugs!!
I currently on hold waiting to ask the technical support people to let me download the old software until they fix the bugs and get this working.
I love this phone, but I will never buy another Apple product or download another Apple software program without waiting for months for the early adopters to spend all of their free time debugging Apple products for them.
BTW, the problem for most of us caused by the inability for the iTunes add in to load in Outlook. In Outlook 2007 go to : Tools : Trust Center : Addins . There should be an iTunes add in that allows the programs to sync.

  • Syncing Outlook 2007 Calendar running under Vista to IPOD Nano

I have an Ipod Nano and am having an issue with syncing my Outlook 2007 calendar. I am running under Windows Vista. I do get the following error but cannot seem to find a way around it.
"Itunes cannot sync calendar to the Ipod administrator. Try logging out of Windows and then back in"
I have tried following directions on Apple support site, but nothing works.
    Any suggestions?

For anything other than music, videos, and photos, I use a 3rd party program like iPodGadget (www.ipodsoft.com). iTunes just isn't reliable when it comes to calendars and contacts.

  • Multiple email calendars sync with Outlook 2007

I have synced my Outlook 2007 calendar successfully in both directions with my BB Torch 9800 for ages (version 6 Bundle 2921, Desktop V 7.1).  The calendar on the BB automatically named itself 'Default".
However, the minute I added a number of email addresses to my BB (to receive email messages on my phone, rather than waiting until I log on to my computer), the sync will only work in one direction - from Outlook to BB, not vice-versa.  I note that each email address sets up its own calendar.
When I enter a new appointment on the BB, it goes into the calendar for the first email I added.  This calendar does not sync with my Outlook and there is no 'default' calendar option to 'pull down' on the BB when I enter a new appointment.
I have spent a huge amount of time on this including wiping BB and starting again, and looking at as many websites as possible for help.  All to no avail.
    Can any one help please?

    Hello Ljo,
Thank you for your question regarding synchronizing your BlackBerry smartphone Calendar and Microsoft Outlook.
Which BlackBerry model and version of BlackBerry Device Software are you running on it? http://bbry.lv/iubM23
When more than one calendar exists on your BlackBerry smartphone, one calendar is set as the default. To confirm which calendar is set to default, click the Options icon from the Home screen and select Advanced Options > Default Services.
Note: For BlackBerry 6, click the Options icon and select Device > Advanced System Settings > Default Services.
Make sure that the default Calendar is the one that you are adding the new entries on.
If this is the case, please contact your mobile service provider and request that they contact BlackBerry on your behalf.
    Thank you.

  • Problems syncing with Outlook 2007

Nevermind! It magically started working just a second ago!
I've had this problem before, but the old solution does not work this time...
I got a new computer at work and I'm trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. I reinstalled DM software (5.0) and hooked my phone up, set up the options in synchronization, and then when I ask it to sync, it does nothing. It says "Processing" and then it just stops. No error messages, no other windows, nothing. Just right back to the menu.
Nothing changed with the phone, other than it updated some of the phone's applications when I connected the phone. The calendar is not set to Facebook or anything like that.

    4. On the Configuration tab, click Configure synch.
    5. Select the Address Book check box.
    6. Click Configure > Advanced Settings.
    7. Select Outlook as the sync partner.
Is that what you are doing?

  • How to sync outlook 2007 calendar with Iphone 4?

How do I sync my outlook 2007 calendar with my iphone 4? It used to happen, now it won't work. Thank you.

    Howdy there Connie,
If your Outlook 2007 is still not syncing to your phone I would like to recommend the following article to help you troubleshoot the Sync Services between your the two devices, named:
Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010
First backup your data, THEN proceed with the articles troubleshooting step by step until it is resolved:
    Back up your data
Refer to this Microsoft article for steps to back up the data in your PST file used by Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007. This Microsoft article explains where the Microsoft Outlook 2010 data files are located.
For information about backing up the data in your OST file, contact your Exchange Administrator. Your OST file should be on the server and backed up when the server is backed up.
Before troubleshooting, it is recommended that you make a copy of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch backup in a safe place. For more information about where to find the backup and what information it contains, refer to About backups.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
