My itunes account is contantly disabled.

My itunes account is disabled everytime I try to buy an app or update apps now.  I then have to go through a 10 min process of unlocking it.  This is getting very annoying, is there something wrong with my account?  Or something I can do to keep this from happening?  Thanks.

As is explained here many times every day, you need to contact itunes support.  You CANNOT do this by phone. Itunes does not have phone support.
Click Support at the top of the page, then click the link under Contact Us.

    Because someone's trying to mislead you into giving them your iTunes Store login information. Forward all such emails to [email protected] and then delete them.
    If there's an actual problem with your iTunes Store account, you'll be told at the time you try to purchase or download something.

    Tonight, I tried to buy a single track from the itunes store and I got this message:
    "You cannot buy because your account has been disabled.
    to continue using your account it must be enabled by the itunes store customer service. you can contact customer service at..."
    I don't understand what's going on? I bought music this morning using an itunes card from target and now all of a sudden my entire account is disabled??? I have like $800 bucks in music I've purchased from the itunes store and I don't want to lose it! I sent an email to Apple's customer service address and I've yet to receive a reply.
    Is this some sort of bug in the system??

    I too am having problems.
    1 - I can't listen to Purchased music
    2 - when I synched the iPod None of the purchased music is working - including on the playlists
    3 - I cannot find Customer Support info - in fact I think this is a disgrace - you waste time going around in circles - this is hidden info (more below)
    4 - yesterday I sucessfully Bought some tracks (can you believe that!) but I can't listen to ANY of my other purchased stuff.
    5 - I am being asked repeatedly to Authorise my computer - which I do and it says the computer IS authorised - then I get asked again for my details.
    6 - contacted IM support 3 days ago (I have no idea how I did this) and tried fixing the problem live with a technician - no good. I cannot find this service since.
    Therefore - I can't get tech help.
    I think Apple have big problems they need to sort out - and should have done so years ago. This is really appalling & it should be the case that people should be financially compensated for the hassle and difficulty caused. The excuse of conflicts with other software etc is Not tenable.
    If there was a choice out there I'd be using it.

    I keep receiving a prompt that my account has been disabled, but not for secruity reasons. I had problems almost half a year ago with unauthorized purchases. When I asked Apple about the purchases, instead of providing answers, they said they would disable the account. Not only is that awful customer service and not answering my question, it's a HUGE pain in the butt because I just want to download some music legally!!! Does anyone in Apple Universe have any suggestions before I rip the rest of my hair out?

    I have songs on my computer from my wifes itunes account.  The email account she used to set up her original account is no longer active.
    I try to play the songs and it says the account is disabled and we cannot figure out how to reset it as the email account is gone.

    Assuming that you want to get it re-enabled, then depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to do so via this page :http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
    Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone then try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

    It does not re-enable the account.  I've emailed support but that will take 48 hours.  Is there no way to re-enable it without contacting support?  I've never had an account that wouldn't send me an email so I could just fix it in a matter of minutes.  Oh yeah...this is Apple/ATT.

    iTunes probably detected the unauthorized activity on the accounts and disabled them for that reason. These forums are just for other Apple users, so no one here will have the power to re-enable your account. You should contact iTunes Support: http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
