My Itunes account won't activate

I keep on trying to log into my itunes account and it keeps telling me to activate it and when I try to tell it to send me a new activation e-mail it tells me to check that my time and date is correct and I have checked that and they are both correct. It also tells me to make sure that I have alowed cookies and I have made sure that happens but still every time I login it tells me to activate my account. just to let you know the activation link that apple has sent me it sends me to this link ---> http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/download/

I just clicked at the registration link in Firefox, and surprise, it work now!
b4 that I was truing with Safari... Safari is quite disappointing me now.

    Try it this way on your computer.
    Launch iTunes.
    From the menu at the top go to Store>View my account
    Enter your password when prompted
    Under Apple ID summary - Payment type - click on Edit next to the current information
    Select the card that you want to use and enter the card number and the security code
    Make sure that the billing address is correct - it must be the same address that is printed on the CC statement.
    Click on Done when you are finished.
    See if that works for you.

    Have a weird one here.
    I have an iMac with two user accounts: one for me, one for my wife. We each have our own iTunes collection. They're both using the same Apple ID. Both iTunes have Home Sharing turned on. I can see my wife's library under SHARED in my iTunes, and she can see my library under SHARED in her iTunes.
    As of last week, any time I wanted to watch a movie on my iPad, I would click the Shared tab and I would see an icon for my library and one for my wife's library. But today, all I see is my library. No matter what iDevice I try, (we have two iPads and an iPod touch) none of them can see my wife's shared library. But again, I can still see and access her shared library in iTunes when I'm logged into my account on my iMac.
    I've tried turning on and off her shared library preferences, logging out/in, and rebooting. Nothing helped.
    How can I get our iPads/iPod touch to see her shared library again?

    In iTunes on your computer, go to Store > Authorize This Computer from iTunes' menu.  Have your dad (or you, if you know it) enter his Apple ID and password.  Then sync again.

    I haven't seen any press release that supercedes that, but the one you reference refers to the ORIGINAL iPhone, not a 3G. There have been posts here and elsewhere indicating that the restore/upgrade function no longer works on the 3G once you update to 3GS.
    I suppose the original poster can put a phone call in to AppleCare to see if they might be able to get some help from them. I didn't make this rule, I am just reporting what everyone else is seeing, with or without the SIM card in the 3G.

    Your iTunes account won't include your non-iTunes purchased e.g. music copied from CDs etc, nor photos that were synced from a computer.
    To get non-iTunes music you will have to go via a computer. If you don't have that music on, for example, an external drive, then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back from a device : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
    For photos that were originally synced from a computer then there are apps such as Simple Transfer which can copy them between devices and/or to a computer (though photos are 'optimised' as part of the syncing process, so if you do copy them back to a computer then they might not be the same as they were on your laptop).
