My itunes app in my computer got stuck when ever my iphone 4 is connected

please help me to solve this problem...itune application in my system is opening when i conect my iphone 4 to computer but the page is stuck...i waited for long but no result.

Have you tried starting it before you connect the device? You may have to reinstall iTunes. Depending on the system you are using, if you are using a PC with Windows, you need to follow the directions here exactly to uninstall and then reinstall iTunes. That should help your problem.

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. iTunes match will only work from a computer in terms of uploading new content. You should be able to copy iTunes purchases back via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11). Did you try to press and hold the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting the device.

Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

The ipod is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

ITunes 9.0.2 - computer autorization glitch when syncing downloaded apps

The apps I've downloaded for my iPhone via the iTunes store will not sync to my iPhone.
I get an error that says my computer is not authorized to use these apps and when I try to authorize my computer iTunes store gives me a further error message:
"There was an error storing your authorizaion information on this computer"
"The required directory was not found or has a permissions error. Correct this permissions problem and try again, or deauthorize this computer if the permissions error cannot be changed"
I have tried to find the permissions error with no luck and tried to deauthorize my computer in iTunes which brings up the same error message as above.
Can anyone advise as to what's going on? Never had this problem before upgrading to iTunes 9.0.2...

Download a fresh iTunes.dmg. Close iTunes.
Then to get itunes to install from the .dmg you will need to go to HD>Library>Receipts>iTunesX.pkg and remove the iTunesX.pkg to the trash.
Put the iTunes app in the trash.
Backup the 2 files iTunes Library and iTunes Music Library.xml (located in HD>User>User Account>Music>iTunes. Keep the b/u in a different location.) Reinstall iTunes. Launch iTunes. If all works and you are happy you can empty the trash.

I've tried synching the iPhone and the app did not appear on the iPhone. I've looked up the instructions online for transferring an app from the computer to the iPhone, but the instructions don't seem to apply. It said that if synching didn't work, to go to the apps button in iTunes and then click on file sharing, but there's no "file share" or "file sharing" button on my screen. I guess I'm an idiot, but I cannot seem to make this work. Any help?

If you're having issues with directly connecting your iPhone to your PC...
When you purchase in iTunes, it's flagged in your account as purchased. You never have to purchase again, it's tied to your AppleID.
Just go into App Store on iPhone, and click 'buy' or 'install' from there. It will know you've already payed for it, and install it via WiFi or 3G whatever the case may be.

My computer got corrupted when I tried to install the Mac OS X update combined

When I tried to download 5 new updates the download could not be completed it got stuck on the Mac OS X update combined. I have the snow leopard and was advised to reinstall the operating system. Can I do this without loosing what I have? Is there something else that I can do?

You can reinstall Snow Leopard without erasing the disk but hopefully you have a backup of your important files just in case.
