Where did you purchase it? Sometimes if you use a typo you may pull up another card.
iTS can see who redeemed it, but they may not give you details. Did you purchas this second hand or what?

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? I just bought an iTunes card yesterday and redeemed it, but everytime I try to buy a certain album, this thing pops up saying I have insufficient store credit. Which I definitely do not.

This issue can sometimes happen when you leave a field blank on the order form. Also, make sure that you're logged in to the Adobe store in the same country as your you credit card mailing address. (You can check by clicking Change Location in the lower-left corner of the adobe.com website.)

I am currently using a Credit Card for payment methods on the ITUNES store. But my sons are now using it also, so my husband thought it would be best to delete the card and buy ITUNES gift cards instead so we dont have to keep loading this card. But it's not deleting my information. I redeemed the cards already and says that I have a balance on my account. But when we try to purchase something it takes me to the billing screen and it says there is an issue with a previous purchase because the card was declined! What do I do?? Someone please help. What exactly are you trying to do and what happens when you do it ?
If the card has been redeemed then its remaining amount should be on your account, the card itself is now effectively zero - you can't redeem a card twice. If you still have a balance on your account, you are buying for yourself (you can't use a balance for gifting) and it covers the price of the purchase (if you are in the US then you have to add on your state's sales tax to an item's listed price) then you should be able to buy items with it without needing further payment details.
