I purchased the blu-ray of The Hunger Games and it came with a code to redeem for a digital copy. I redeemed the code in iTunes and the movie downloaded fine, but the "EXTRAS" have been downloading for 2 weeks! Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

My facetime is not verifying my email though it shows an email has been sent for verification but no email is received. How can I have my facetime back.. Pls help.
I have it set up on both of mine and I know she has the app what I would have to check is if it is enable in hers, although prior to the cancellation of service she used to be able to make the calls, my concern is why I can't which is possible that it needs to be enable. Thank you!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

FileVault2 has been running for a week. No estimated time of ending.
I have a 2011 MacBook Pro. 2 GHz i7 processor; 4 GB Memory; Using Yosemite 10.10
Last week, I downloaded Yosemite and enabled FileVault2 without knowing what it fully was. The program has been running for a week. I left my computer alone for most of this time per advice in other threads but everytime I try and check on the progress, the status bar says it's still trying to "estimate time remaining." My computer will not allow me to turn FileVault off. Any way I can make my computer faster in the process or turn off FileVault? I know it'll need to decrypt everything if I turn it off but with no possible end in sight, I'm worried something is wrong.These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes.) You should now see log messages with the words "Starting * backup," where * represents any of the words "automatic," "manual," or "standard."
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Note the timestamp of the last "Starting" message that corresponds to the beginning of an an abnormal backup. Now
CLEAR THE WORD "Starting" FROM THE TEXT FIELD
so that all messages are showing, and scroll back in the log to the time you noted. Select the messages timestamped from then until the end of the backup, or the end of the log if that's not clear. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ If all you see are messages that contain the word "Starting," you didn't clear the text field.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
To reset the iPod without the hardware buttons,
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All your wifi and bluetooth preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected. You will have to rejoin wifi networks and repair BT devices
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have Lookout 6.5 running with Windows 7, the process has been running for about 2 months with no problems, but today the Citadel stopped working!

Save your process files outside of the NI progam directory (you should have external backups already right ). THey should not be deleted.
Any customizations to the lookout.ini and lookout.sec file may be lost.

Attempting to download Maverick it has been running for nearly 24hrs. I have tried shutting down the computer but the setup assistant keeps canceling the shut down.
Just hold down the power button for about ten seconds and the machine will turn off.
I'm not sure how fast your Internet speed is but my Mavericks downloads usually only take about 20-25 minutes for a 5.33GB file.
No telling what will be waiting for your when you power back on... call back if you can't login to your computer.
