If you mean you cannot read the code on the back of the card take it back to the store you purchased it from. If the numbers are not visable because you scratched them out I don't know if the store will replace or refund that. If you can read some of the numbers you could just keep trying a combination of letters and numbers to replace the missing ones. This will take a while depending on how many inputs are missing. You will have to use 0 through 9 and I am guessing A through Z.

You would have to get a Canadian iTunes giftcard. But my guess is that they aren't sold outside of Canada. Unless you can locate online

If you do not have one you will have to supply a bank card or redeem an iTunes Gift Card.

You do not have to remove anything in order to use your balance.
It will use the balance first.

Generaly, if you have an iTunes card and a valid credit card, you have the option of charging your purchases to eiher one or the other? By default, it goes to your iTunes card, but you can override that.

If you purchased one song, that would be the 99 cents you used.

So my husband peeled off the part where you are supposed to scratch and took off a good portion of the code on the back of 2 25 dollar itunes gift cards. I do not have the recipet and do not know what to do. Is there anyway I can still redeem then?

Are you able to take it back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? I have 2 granddaughers saying the other received the gift card on their itunes account. ONe has her account info, the other can;t remember her info to log into her account, (she is young). I typrd the gift card number in from the card on one account and it says "already redeemed". Does this mean the itunes gift card was redeemed on that account, or could have been redeemed on any account, just in general already redeemed?

It just means that the card has been redeemed - you can't see a list anywhere on an account a history of card redemptions on it.

If you buy a card from the online Apple Store or another authorized retailer, they'll ship a physical card to your shipping address. If you buy a gift through the iTunes Store, it's sent via email to whatever email address you provide when you set up the gift.
