My iTunes icon looks like a webpage with a blue square inside?
For a while now my iTunes icon has looked like a webpage with a blue square inside of it, and I've updated, redownloaded and it just won't change back to normal. Anyone have any idea what to do to get it back?
It's an Internet address location of some type; these include mailto locations. It can safely be removed.

I've been having this problem for a while, and I have no idea how to sort it out. It won't let me download or upadate and apps at all and when I press download it comes up with this blue circle and the app just says waiting when I look at the icon... Someone help me it's really stating to bug me now and I need it sorting out.the circle in question is above the ''related'' option on the page.
You can't keep changing the ID you use with iTunes, you are limited to once every 90 days.

That icon indicates your iPhone is rotation locked.
To remove it, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center. Tap the similar looking icon there to turn it off. -
My photos don't rotate anymore when I flip my phone and I notice a new icon in the upper right corner that looks like a lock with a 3/4 circle going around it.

This is simply he rotation lock icon showing up. It means that your iPad 2 running iOS 5.5.1 is "locked" in either portrait or landscape mode. This restricts the screen from rotating when you tilt it. This feature can be very useful in certain cases. To disable this feature, simply double tap on the home button to access the multitasking menu. From there, swipe to the right and tap the icon that looks like a lock with a circle around it. Depending on the settings on your iPad, you may have to turn off rotation lock by flipping the switch directly above the volume switch into the opposite position as it is in now. Hope this helped! So at the top of my screen like where the time is... there is this symbol that looks like a lock with a circle around it. It is next to the battery icon. What does this mean?
It's the screen orientation lock. It prevents the screen from switching between portrait and landscape views when you turn the iPod.
To engage or disengage this feature, double click the home button. This will bring up the multitasking tray. Swipe all the way to the left until you see the iPod controls, then tap the gray icon with the lock on it. This will toggle the feature on and off. -

Screen orientation lock. Double click the home button to bring up the recent app bar. Then finger swipe left-to-right to bring up the iPod controls. The icon on the far left (circle with lock in it) is the orientation lock button - press it, and the lock will go away.

Why did Apple make iTunes 7 look like a Windows XP App.?
Why did Apple make iTunes 7 look like a Windows XP App.? This version of iTunes doesn't even look like it belongs in OSX. It's ugly is about the only way I can put it. I can't figgure out why they removed the EQ icon and didn't even assign a key command for it. Now yoy have to go into the menu to select it. Also I have noticed that it sometimes downloads the wrong artwork for album covers. The old version of iTunes seemed much better and I have reverted back to it untill Apple fixes the problems with version 7 and makes it look like part of the OSX family of applications.
Well I wouldn't say it was ugly but some changes do leave something to be desired.
I certainly aggree about the equaliser button and the visualiser button has gone too but at least they assigned a key command for it. The scrollbars need more colour and I'd prefer the buttons at the bottom to stand out a bit more like the ones at the top.
I see no reason to go back to iT6 though, especially as I would misss Cover Flow. You could have a long wait for a change of interface and in the meantime you miss out on the good parts of iT7. If your track information is correct and identical to that on the Store then it shouldn't get the wrong artwork. Luckily I already had most of my album covers in place from other sources such as Amazon and just used iTunes to get a few more. My only complaint about the Get Album Artwork feature is that it's getting it from the US store when I want it from the UK store.
Anyway these forums are really here to enable users to help each other solve problems and not to discuss Apple's decisions. If there are things you want changing then do what I and others do and send constructive criticisms and requests via the link below, if you haven't already.

IF it looks the way it is supposed to then I recommend recreating your iTunes library.

You mean the Control Center. As was said ...slide up with your thumb from the home button and a gray box should open (i.e. Control Center). There you can turn the orientation lock Off or On. You can also use the Flashlight or turn Bluetooth on or off, and other functions.

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.
