My itunes id is not elegible to purchase a gift certificate.

I tried to purchase an email gift certificate and I received a message saying my id was not elegible. I tried to then purchase a printable gift certificate and got the same message. I can purchase music and apps so why can't I purchase a gift?

If you have a US iTunes account, you cannot use a gift card
from Mexico in that US account. Additionally, you are supposed
to be in the US when using your US account.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.

You have a phone that was returned as defective. How it got into the market again is anyone's guess, but the ONLY way to resolve it is to call Apple, and that may not resolve it either if it was pilfered by someone at an Apple repair center.

I finally found the link to purchase gift certificates to be emailed to the recipient, and at the end of the process, I click "buy" and i get a pop up message saying my account is "not authorized to purchase gifts" ***? Does music appear as an option in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app ? Music can't be redownloaded in all countries, so it won't show for all countries.
If it shows but doesn't have all of your iTunes purchases, then have you changed countries since buying them (content is tied to the country, as well as the account), it's not hidden (hiding and unhiding), and it's still in your country's store (rights-holders can remove their content at any time) ? And have you tried logging out of your account (tap on your id at the bottom of the Music tab in the iTunes store app) and then logged back in to see if it then shows ?

After updating my Itune, I can not upload my purchases to my Ipod Touch

After updating to the latest Itune version, now I can not upload my new purchases to my Ipod Touch, although it synchs, but when I drag the album and drop it on Ipod logo on right hand side, nothing happens? I still have 8Gb of capacity left in my 16Gb Ipod Touch.

Just transferred myself from my flat panel imac to a new powerbook & Tiger - updated to 10.4.2. In itunes, all seemed to be working fine till I noticed that music I purchased in the Apple itunes music store would not play! I get a dialogue box saying "This computer is not authorized to play "xxxx". and asks me if I want to authorize it. I do so using my AOL screenname and password and then I am told "Machine authorization was successful. You have authorized this for 1 computer. You have a maximum of 5". I click OK but nothing happens. If I try to play the just-authorized song, I get the same screen ansking me to go thru the authorization process again - to no avail. So strange that this just happens with the music sitting right there in the "Purchased" folder. itunes 5 rejecting its own children. What to do?

Thanks for yoursuggestions. I did see that article, tried correcting the permissions, looked at a few of the other things, but this doesn't make sense. This would only be the second computer that had these purchased songs on them. SO the 5 computer limit should have nothing to do with it.
The weird thing is how the computer tells me that it's not authorized to play the purchased songs and gives me the opportunity to put in either an AOL code or an Apple ID code to authorize this computer to play the song. I do it. I get a message that, congratulations, the computer has been successfully authorized to play the song. But then it simply does not play and when you try to play it it just recycles right back to the original message saying that the computer is not authorized.

This has happened more than 38 times so far, and its still not fixed within iTunes store, upgrade or the latest version of software. For an example, I have in the Top Tens, section Country number 28 this week Keith Urban with For You from the Act of Valor movie soundtrack which displays $ 1.29. Now again upon just searching on the iPhone 4s with the app Itunes, with the keywords Act of Valor, top results show on display Action & Adventure Act of Valor Movie and Keith Urban, For You Act of Valor $ 1.29.
Now right below with Albums, Various Artists, Act of Valor I selected it displays 1 For You "Downloaded"
Pretty screwed up if you ask me!!
