My itunes is freezing up each time i open it and giving me an error message
All of a sudden my Itunes is freezing up about 30 seconds after it opens. I am running windows XP and I keep getting a "itunes needs to shut down" message asking if i want to send a report to Microsoft or not. Has anyone had problems like this, where one day Itunes just stopped working with no other change to the computer?
It is fully inserted.. it has not work for about 2 years. When the SD card reader is inserted it opens up and I begin to download. I get an error message saying the device was eject improperly.

I tried to install the latest version of iTunes on my Windows PC, but the installation failed and I have the error message "Runtime Error R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly." When I then tried to run iTunes (assuming that, since the new install failed, my older version was still OK) I got the message "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 1114". I tried then uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it fresh, but encountered the same problems. Help!

I downloaded Photoshop CC 2014 last week and every time I open the program, I get an error message that reads "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working" and it forces me to close the program. How to I resolve this?

It just didn't occur to me to do so.
My intent was to report that there was at least one other user encountering a similar problem. It occurred to me that Adobe might be interested in determining the scale of a problem which causes one of their best known products to fail to run quite so completely after a clean install
I also see that I misreported the OS I'm running - its Windows 8.
If there is further information I can provide which might be helpful in determining a solution, if someone could be specific about what would be helpful, then I will try to respond appropriately.

The X230 has Intel HD 4000 graphics support built in to the processor. Windows was pretty stubborn about refusing driver updates, but I just managed to get drivers from the Intel site to install and Photoshop is now running, so hopefully I need not try your patience any further.
In case anyone else has a similar problem and stumbles on this the way to install the driver that worked was to:
- download the zip version of the generic driver from Intel
- use the 'have disk' option in the windows dialog to install the driver - other paths in the UI did not work with windows refusing to install the driver. -

Still crashed and told me to hold down the power button to restart. It seems to only do it while I'm using the Internet. Any suggestions?

I have a 27" iMac when I open Safari the web page is only 1/3 the size of the full screen Safari window. I know how to ZOOM in on the web page! My question is, How do I keep this ZOOM setting for all web pages and each time I open Safari up?
Sorry, but that's not possible.
An alternative might be to use Zoom in System Preferences > Accessibility
Or try a different screen resolutioin in System Preferences > Displays > Scaled -

Hi all, since upgrading to Firefox 25 each time I boot Firefox I see briefly the following in a small window whilst it is opening. "Reverted change ..... on general useragent override." What does this mean and if it is a problem how is it rectified? I see the same message on Windows 7 64 bit and 2 LInux Distros.
Thanks for any explanation.This message is probably coming from the User Agent Switcher extension that detects that you have a user agent override active as you can see in the System Details List.

My ipad2 has crashed. Tried to do an update last night. Upload bar moved 1cm then locked stayed like that all night. I have switched off and then on again and its prompting me to connect to itunes. Once connected it says to restore. It starts this process and then stops with an error message (11) I cant access anything on it not even the battery charge indicator shows. What do I do?

a few days ago my iTunes was working fine but rite now it won't open up. also, when i try to open quicktime 7 it will open up for a second then just automatically close up. i have tried everything like installing and reinstalling iTunes and Quicktime, using msconfig (which worked for a little but stopped working) and even scanning for malware. i think it might be one of those 4-letter start up but i don't no.

Multiple tabs open each time I open FF and FF freezes midsession
Examples of the freezing: being logged in to OED and not being able to type a word; trying to upload a photo to Facebook and not being able to select one; not being able to make active certain parts of an otherwise active website; not being able to close FF or scroll down.
Blank tabs opening alongside the page you wanted have been reported to be a side effect of the "MySearchDial" extension. If you do not recall installing that or do not find it useful, I suggest disabling or removing it.
Open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
If there is no Remove button, check the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Clicking the "Installed on" column heading may reveal it to be part of a bundle with other suspect programs.
Does removing that help with the overnight new tabs issue? -
