  • Itune do not sync all my music on my iPhone 4

I Sync all my music library on my iPhone4 and iPad. iTunes tell me that I have 2195 songs to Sync. On my iPad, all the songs is their.
But on my iPhone, he only Sync 2046 songs (the size used on my iPad versus my iPhone confirm that I have song missing 0.7 GB missing).
I still have 4.8 GB Free on my iPhone, this is not a memory problem.
I have removed all my music on my iPhone, and he is syncing the same amount of music.
If is their a reason that the iPhone will Sync less song?

and interestingly: This solution does not work:
    /t5/Music/Ovi-Player-indexing-files-from-folders-it-s-not-allowed-to/m-p/595905/highlight/true#M1346...
I removed the "my music" folder, but still I have all songs from this folder in OVI Music.
I want to completely get rid of all indexed music, and only have OVI watch a specific folder...

  • ITunes does not sync with my previous library

Hi there, I hope someone could help me out here.
I have just recently formatted/re-installed Mac OS Maverick on my MBP, and iTunes (v 11.3) was also updated.
I have moved my previous library and re-directed iTunes (iTune -> Preferences -> Advanced) to the library. However, iTunes does not recognize the library anymore and does not appear in it. Only my iPhone 5 has the records of playlists and songs. For now, when I want to sync the music with my iPhone in iTunes, iTunes will ask to ERASE the entire music library in the iPhone, which I do not want. How can I resolve this thing?
Thank you very much for any help here. Appreciate it.
    nickeldoor

You don't say what exactly you moved.  You don't tell iTunes to use a previous library with preferences, you do it by holding down the option/alt key while starting iTunes and guiding it to the iTunes Library.itl file in the iTunes folder you want to use.  A library is everything in the iTunes folder.  Hopefully you copied the entire folder and not just the media files or else you will have to rebuild the library structure from scratch (and erase the phone).

  • Itunes could not sync mail account ... because the iphone canceled the sync

    Hello
I get the error "Itunes could not sync mail account to the Iphone "........" because the iphone canceled the sync
Calendar, Bookmarks, Music and Video are Syncing ok
    Strange !!
    Any Idea ?
    Best
    Cyril

i had a similar mail sync issue with a pop3 business account. i think the issue was i deleted the account from my iphone instead of removing it thru itunes. this was causing the canceled mail sync error with any changes to my syncable mail accounts to my iphone. so, i went it and re-added that pop3 account and it solved the problem. it now syncs everytime and allows me to make changes to which accounts i want on my iphone....which wasn't happening before.

  • My iTunes is not syncing all my music to my iphone despite goin throuh the motions and saying its syncing

It starts out normal as if it's syncing properly and then reverts back. Stating its complete however half of my music is not synced and it says I have all the space available

I had similar problem.  Found an answer and it worked fine.  First, connect your 4s to your Mac and iTunes.  Go to device, music and deselect Sync Music at very top.  Then, go to Summary and Sync the 4s.  Note that when finished all your music will be gone off the 4s.  disconnect the iPhone from the computer and do a Hard Shutdown or reboot/reset.  You do this by:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
Reconnect to the computer and iTunes.  Go to device, music, and check Sync Music.  Then select Sync on the summary page.  When finished all my songs and playlists were back on the iPhone the way they should be.  Good luck.

  • ITunes would not let me download music properly to my iPhone 4S, can someone shed some light on how I can fix it?

I recently aquired an iPhone 4S, perfectly fine, around 2 months old. everything is working fine, and all apps and music are downloaded on to iTunes and WERE origionally on the iPhone. I started to then add more songs from iTunes, though the phone started refusing to download them and then the majority of my collection were then deleted. I did origionally think that this was simply because it could not find the location of all the music files, though upon searching i found that iTunes could indeed fine every single file, and that they all played perfectly well in iTunes. I did reset the phone and try simply re-installing the exact same storage pre-reset, though it simply made all of the songs like that. The iPhone (4S, 32GB, 4 month old) did have around 900 songs on it, all playing fine, though recently the number on iTunes is around 1240, though I don't want all the songs on.
It is not that I am incapable of understanding the software of iTunes or of the iPhone, and I have had previous Apple products and also had interaction with various models (iPhone 5/5C/5S) and Android, so it this is where it stumps me on what the actual problem is.
I have tried doing things like:
    Reseting the phone
Making an individual playlist with all of the songs that I want on my phone
Downloading Albums/Artists/songs/playlists individually (as to rule out if it is a specific artist/song/so on
Downloading everything and then trying to get iTunes to download the actual song directly
When updating/syncing my options on the Music tap on iTunes when the iPhone is plugged in, it registers on iTunes that the every song that I have ticked to be included in the sync has been synced, though upon checking my iPhone on the music app, the majority of the music will either have failed to sync or not be there, or be registered but unplayable (the title of the song is slightly transparent/grey). Then upon inspection of the [Settings>General>About>Songs], the count does not equate to that which is stated on iTunes.
Any help will be appreciated as soon as possible, as my iPhone is used for music a significant amount of the time and the loss of around 700 songs off of my phone is quite significant.
Bearing in mind that I am only 16 years old and have no actual IT knowledge in-depth of what is actually occuring other ethan what the consumers can see through such things as the settings and the location of files and their formats, I would be appreciative if any explanation wouldn't end up being too confusing, nor it being patronising (for instance, my ignorance of how to download music to iTunes)
    Thanks, atsdkg

    I have help for you!!!
I had EXACTLY the same issue recently. What I had to do on my PC was go into the My computer section> click on my C drive> click on users> click on my username> go into music and then iTunes> Here you should see something that says iTunes Library. Make sure that iTunes is Closed and then take the iTune library and drag it onto Your desktop. This will create a copy on the desktop but iTunes will not see it. Reopen iTunes and you should see an option to scan for media. Once you do this iTunes should re-build your iTunes library and It should be able to sync. If it syncs fine and all your content is available go to the iTunes library that you dragged to the desktop and delete it as you should not have a new one. If this does not work absolutley do NOT delete the iTunes library that is on the desktop.
Call Apple and let them know of the steps you have taken and request some help. This should fix it though!

Were you ever able to solve this problem? If so,
how? If not, did you see the same slowness copying
the files in Windows Explorer from the NAS to the
    iPod?
No I wasn't. To be honest I have essentially given up as even if I can fix it, disk space is cheaper than life is long!
Using the NAS in general is no problem. In fact, once iTunes got beyond the initial working out of what needed to be removed from and copied to the iPod, having all my MP3s on the NAS and copying direct to the iPod was no issue.
Following some sage (and frankly scary!) advice at ilounge (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=163611), I've decided to keep two copies of my MP3s. The fact that my fiendish NAS plan has failed is hurting more than the not-all-that-traumatic reality of duplicating 140GB of files if truth be told!

  • Itunes will not sync my new music to my ipod touch

so i plugged in my ipod touch into my new computer and had it transfer my purchases instead of erasing my media. then i used this application to put my songs that were already on my ipod but not actually purchased on itunes onto itunes. then i added some new songs onto itunes from cds then pressed sync.itunes said it had synchronized the songs onto my ipod, yet when i looked in the library on my ipod the songs were not there. PLEASE HELP!

You can only sync with one iTunes library. The iPod sees the new computer as a new library. To make the new computer your syncing computer you need to (assuming all the media is in the iTunes library):
    - Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking one the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from that backup.
If you do not want to change syncing computers you can manage music and videos among different computer by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers

  • My iTunes will not let me delete music off of my iPhone 4

I am trying to get rid of a lot of music that I don't want off of my iPhone 4 that way I have enough room to download the new iOS 7. So when I go into iTunes I let my phone completely sync and it has no issues so then I go to the iPhone icon. Then I go to the on this phone icon and it lists all my music. But when I go to a song that I want to delete and right click it gives me 3 options: play"...", get info, and show in iTunes Store. So then I just try to highlight the song and click the delete button on my computer nothing happens. I know it's not my iTunes program because I can delete and add songs on my iPod. And adding songs is also an issue for me. So please help! I don't need 488 songs!!

  • ITunes will not sync all of my library to Apple TV

Loaded the newest versions of Apple TV and iTunes. All of a sudden I get an error during the sync process...unable to transfer because I am "not authorized to play the songs on this computer". I purchased the songs on this computer and can play them on the computer..this message makes no sense. I have a second Apple TV in another room and it syncs and transfers all my songs with no problem.
    Whats up?
    Thx
    Lee

I figured it out my problem. The error message indicated that 63 songs couldn't be synced to my apple tv. I looked at a couple of the songs and discovered that they were form a different itunes store account. I logged into the itunes store with the different account info and resynced the apple tv. That solved the issue. Interestingly, there were actually 650 songs (not 63) that were waiting to sync. I think the error message may only be able to display 63.
