My Itunes is saying that i need to update to 11.1 but i already have got it and im using it now.

when ever i plug in my ipod to add music onto it my itunes says that i need to update it to 'version 11.1 or later' but i have it and thats the one i am useing.

I have OS 10.5.8, Perian and Flip4mac wmv installed by apple at the store. I was having lots oF trouble so Apple replaced my keyboard, wiped my computer and reinstalled the OS and did all the Updates. They also added Flip4mac wmv player and perian. Everything worked great For a while but it's getting messy again. The lower case F has stopped working when I type online, but it works when I type otherwise. (Not sure iF that's related.)

What is the GarageBand version that your friend is using?
If it is GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5, you can buy GarageBand '11 as a boxed retail version with the iLIfe '11 bundle, e.g. from Amazon.
Then you can upgrade GarageBand '11 to 6.0.5, using this upgrader from the Support page:

GarageBand 6.0.5 will work well with your system. But if your friend is using the newest GarageBand 10, this will not help. Then ask your friend to send you audio files for each track, so you can recreate the project from the audio. Or your friend could also use GarageBand '11 for the projects you want to share, that will run well in all newer MacOS X versions, even with GarageBand 10.0 installed on the same system.

If you mean for your iTunes account (a number of people are reporting problems with connecting to the iTunes store) then you can try resetting it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
If you mean the passcode to unlock the iPad then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a computer that it's not synced to :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

Sounds like you have a negitive balance from the last pourchase (you owe Apple money). Add a valid payment method to your account.

Whenever I try to sync my iPod with my MacBook Pro in iTunes, it says that it needs authorization. The only Problem is that I'm already authorised. If it is asking for the screen-lock passcode then:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Some anti-virus programs (e.g., McAfee) have this rule that can be invoked under the "maximum protection" settings: PREVENT PROGRAMS REGISTERING AS A SERVICE. If that rule is set to BLOCK, then any attempt to install or upgrade iTunes will fail with an "iPod service failed to start" message.
If you are getting this problem with iTunes, check to see if your anti-virus has this setting and unset it, at least for as long as the iTunes install requires. Exactly how to find the rule and turn it on and off will vary, depending upon your anti-malware software. However, if your anti-virus or anti-malware software produces a log of its activities, examining the log may help you find the problem.

Note that the log says "Common Maximum Protection: Prevent programs registering as a service". To my knowledge there are no official MS Windows DVDs that contain both the 32 and 64 bit versions. There is a way to make a USB thumb drive that has both bit version on it but AFAIK this can't be done on a DVD disc even with a Dual Layer DVD disc.
For the Windows installer to function, actually boot the system to the install routine, certain files have to be on a certain area of the DVD disc. If by chance you really do have a DVD disc that contains both bit versions your Mac is only seeing the 32bit version on that disc.
You'll need to get a Real MS DVD of just the 64bit version or download the 64bit version ISO from My Digital Life and burn it to a DVD disc.
