My iTunes isn't working? It keeps coming up with 'iTunes has stopped working' and closes the program?

My iTunes closes itself everytime I open it after saying 'iTunes has stopped working'. It's really frustrating and I am rubbish with computers so not sure what to do

Go to your computer's System Tray and try ejecting. If you can't eject, there is an application that is trying to access your iPod.
Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx and download ProcessExplorer.
Go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555665 and follow the instructions under Resolution.
Note that this is a good, general process any time you can't access any file.
In my case an update to RealPlayer installed a program called RecordingManager that was accessing my iPod.

I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

Can't get itunes. I get the following message when I click on either the shortcut or the program. It says ITunes has stopped working and I can either check on line for a solution and close the program or just close the program.

When I click on the itunes shortcut or the program I get the following message:
ITunes has stopped working. My two options are: Windows can check on line for a solution to the problem or close the program.
It seems that my entire library is not there. If I sync my ipod will it add it back into my library on the computer?
I've even tried installing again and nothing works. Tried the "repair" and it says that ITunes is loaded but I stil get the above error when I try to open the program.

Everytime I click on iTunes Store it stops working and closes the whole itunes program

I have restarted the computer several times, repaired several apple related programs from the control panel, but the problem persists. It is only when I am using the itunes software on my computer too. The regular library works fine and i can even play itunes radio, it only happens when I click the little "Itunes store" rectangle. I am having the very same problem with iTunes, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and started having the problem after the latest update. I just upgraded to the new 5s and was syncing everything to it, so I figured that I would update my itunes software as well. Which I never do after updating one time and had trouble with it on my old laptop and had to rollback to a older version of itunes. I have tried every suggestion that has been posted in the Apple Discussion area and on other websites no luck what so ever. I figured I will wait till Apple comes out with another update and try again. In the post above I am having the exact problem with iTunes. Xp pc will not let me open the itunes store it faults and closes   the store or tutorials

Dell XP will not let me reach the store or act on any tutorials. It faults and closes the shortcut to Itunes. I have the most current Qtime and just downloaded the store program.. According to the apple test for the store everything is up and running but it will not connect.

Add me to the list. I just bought mine & can't log onto the Apple Store to rent/purchase. I can on my MBP.
I've had the same thing happen when I tried to enter my YouTube username & password. It wouldn't accept it. I thought it was a fluke w/YouTube. Apparently not so.
So, I can't buy or rent movies/TV shows. Exactly why do I want this gadget?
How about an update on the Apple site that just recognizes these problems & promise a fix?

I changed my apple ID on my iPhone and I have many updates for my apps. It keeps coming up with my old apple ID and I've tried entering my old password and it won't work. How can I update my apps with my new apple ID?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

The back button in Safari now refuses to work, and I'm unsure if this is a problem with Safari or my laptop (honest to God, I know nothing about computers). Anyways, I tried to call the number given, but there was no answer, and I'm assuming this is the actual virus itself.
How can I get my laptop running back to normal? Is there a way to check for a virus and remove it?

Do not respond to that message. There are no known viruses on OSX systems. What you are seeing is a total scam.
Open Safari then go to Preferences>Privacy. Remove all Cookies and Website data. Set the Block Cookies option to Block 3rd Parties and Advertisers:
