My iTunes keeps freezing whenever I try to sync my music to my iPod. Any ideas why?

I tried restoring it a coupe times and it doesnt work. The last time I did it I opted to not restore from my back-up and set up my iPod as a new one. This time I was able to sync more songs but had the same thing. It froze at song 185.
I have iTunes for Windows 7 and iPod Touch 4th Genration if that information matters.

My Itunes keeps freezing when I try to sync it HELP!

After the new update my itunes keeps freezing everytime I connect my Ipod it will get through half of the syncing and then it freezes!!!!
So I closed it down and restart it it will freeze again. All I wanted to do was added new music onto my Ipod it when pear shaped!! I mained to reset it and I got all the music that I had purchased re-downloaded but that's only 42 songs! ALSO when any music does get on there the Ipod wouldn't let it play and the thingy sign has a cloudy colour to it!!!

Every time I try to sync my Ipod to Itunes it keeps freezing. I tried using wi-fi and usb way and it gets to step 3-4 and freezes, How do I get my Ipod to sync without it freezing.

Why does my Itunes keep freezing when I try to sync my Ipod?

Hello,
Everytime I try to rearrange my music or take music on or off my Ipod Nano my Itunes freezes up and I am unable to sync my new music to my Ipod. What is going on? I have uninstalled and reinstalled I have reverted my Ipod back to factory settings and yet it still freezes when I try to add or take music off the Ipod. What other suggestions should I do?

Do you have any better luck with that if you update to iTunes 10.6.1.7?

My iTunes keeps freezing whe I try to sync it with my ipad

On my first attempt at synching my iPad with iTunes - after upgrading to iO5 - my iTunes freezes and continues to freeze on each attempt at synching. It works just fine alone and when I sync my iPod. Additionally, many of my subscribed apps on my iPad will not open though I can access the apps that came with the unit such as Mail, iPhoto, etc. Is this a common problem?
My familiarity and apptitude with computers is moderate (on a good day) and therefore the problem manifesting and the solution may be obvious to most though unfortunately not me. Thank you in advance for your expertise and help.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, Sync and see if the problem has been resolved.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

You may need to update to iTunes 10.7, which would require OS X 10.6.8.
But you can first try to reboot your computer and router/modem

Try authorize this computer in the store menu in Itunes. This worked for me. It seems that this is an account problem on iTunes.

While you're correct in that Windows media won't sync to the iPhone (or any i-device), the OP states that all the music is in iTunes. If its in iTunes, it would no longer be in Windows media format since it would have been transcoded to whatever the user sets as their import preference (AAC, mp3, etc.), and once that is done then the media should be able to sync to the iPhone just fine.
To Steph, do the missing songs play OK in iTunes? If not then they could be corrupted in some way. If they play fine in iTunes but don't sync, are they unchecked in iTunes? They won't sync to your iPhone if it is set to ignore unchecked items. Finally, if these are iTunes purchases, are they protected format? (i.e. m4p files) If so, is your computer authorized to play them? (you'd know if you try to play them in iTunes, it would prompt you for the account password if not authorized)

My ITouch will only charge on a computer that has itunes downloaded on it. It will not charge on an outlat? Any ideas why?
