My itunes keeps quitting unexpectedly, even having downloaded the new version, please help.
Tracks from the iTunes Store come in AAC format, which Windows Media Player does not support until, I believe WMP12. If you can't upgrade to WPM12, you'll probably have to convert the tracks to a format WMP does support. See:

Open App Store > Purchases, and see if iPhoto app is listed. If not, unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 Apart from that, check that iPhoto is in Applications folder. If not, put it in this folder.
If nothing works, remove iPhoto, open App Store > Purchases, and install iPhoto free of charge -
I moved it to applications and then to the desk top icon for firefox. When I open Firefox it tells me that I need the new version. Is there a new version everyday?
The latest version for your os is: Firefox 11 or if you like 3.6.28

I'm not sure why that is happening, though you can try re- installing iTunes to see if that fixes the error (That won't delete anything off of your iTunes library)
Go to iTunes.com> Click the blue "Download iTunes" in the upper right corner, and wait for it to download. It will ask for your e-mail, but you don't have to put it in. Once the download completes open it up and see if back to normal.

My screen is frozen or stuck downloading the new iOS7 and it just shows there is a minute left to download. It has been like this for several hours and i have reset the phone and it comes right back to this status. How can i clear this so it will start the download again?
Go into settings and see if you have Mute System Sounds checked or Lock Screen Orientation checked for the button just above the colume control on the right hand side of your iPad. If you have Screen Orentation checked, just move the button and your screen should rotate again. If you have Mute System Sounds, go to your home screen and then double tap your home button. The most recently used apps will appear. WIth your finger swipe those apps to the right and on the far left will be an icon for screen orientation. Touch it to turn it on again, and your screen should again rotate.

I downloaded ios6 on my iphone 4s. Now, to sync to itunes I need the new version of itunes. In order to download the new version of itunes, I need a newer OS. I am fine with downloading a new OS, but it says to download through the app store. My computer doesn;t currently have the app store. What should I do?
In order to get the App Store you must be running OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8
To get there you must upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6 which requires an install DVD
You can call Apple and ask them for the install DVD. It will cost $19.95 plus shipping
Once you have upgraded your Mac to Snow Leopard then you need to update it to 10.6.8
Then you will have the App Store you need
Backup first before you start any of the upgrade

The "Software Update" feature is not available in my Ipod 2nd Generation unit while the upgrade option in iTunes keeps on hanging while downloading the upgrade iOS (time out error). So, please tell me how I can upgrade the iOS.
The Settings>General>Software Update comes with iOS 5. The 2G can only go to iOS 4.2.1
Try disabling the computer's security software during the download and update. -

I bought my computer MacBook about six years ago. I am trying to download the new version of itunes. It downloads to my computer, but then asks me for my name and installer password. The options to get that password back is to install the initial disk of the computer, which I do not have anymore or restart the computer doing some sort of steps. I am clueless when it comes to computers, so if anyone can help me that would be awsome!

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow

I had problems uninstalling Apple Mobile Support, I had to repair it first before I could uninstall it. You will have to restart the computer after all the uninstalls, and before reinstalling ITunes. I reinstalled ITunes from the Apple website afterwards (fresh download) ... everything works for me now that I have done this.
