My iPhone became wet at the beach. I put it in rice for 4 days. When I connect to itunes, it says the phone must be restored. It starts and then gives either the error 2001, or 2006. What exactly does this mean, and is it worth getting repaired?

Last night when I turned my Itunes on it asked me to update. There was Itunes and Icloud update so I clicked update as usual etc.
Halfway through an error message came up as follows:-
Runtime Error
Program: C\ Program Files|iTunes|iTunes.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
You click OK to this message and then another message comes up which says:-

So can anyone help me with this.
I dare not plug my ipod or ipad in to the pc incase I loose everything.

Thank you for the question. Try uninstalling all components of iTunes in the order specified of the article below. Once this is done attempt to install iTunes again.

HT6001 updated iTunes on intel iMac and now it won't open at all
I'm using a 2007 intel imac 20" (2ghz intel core 2 duo) and itunes just updated automatically (to 11.1.4). Now it will not open, I just get an error message "iTunes quit unexpectedly" before it even opens. There seems to be no way to uninstall itunes on OS X 10.9.1. I have restarted to no avail. Any ideas? (no, time machine is not setup)
Thanks!please, any help at all? I'm about to throw this imac out a window and never by another apple product again.

I'm using Max OS 10.4.11
Never had a problem with Firefox updates until this a.m. (I'm using Safari to access this site)Hi there,
Unfortunately, Mac OS 10.4 does not support Firefox 4...see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installing_Firefox Installing Firefox]. I would recommend you uninstall, and then reinstall the latest build of [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older Firefox 3.6].

Updated iTunes 10.5 and now it won't open at all.
I updated it, and I resetted my computer and every time I click on iTunes, it won't load or open. Can anyone help me? :\ I have an XP and I have Service Pack 3. If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated.

As mentioned - I was trying to set up an iPod Touch, and it kept telling me "open iTunes," so it dawned on me that I probably needed to update it. So I updated it, and now it just doesn't open (it bounces once, and that's it).
For added info:
I have a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X version 10.6.8.
Technically I keep all my music on an external hard drive, but I don't think anything is corrupted (because it was working fine just before I updated it).

Upgraded my iTunes & now it won't open at all
I just upgraded my iTunes to 9.02 from a really old version, about 10 minutes ago. I am fairly certain I followed all the steps correctly. I now cannot open iTunes at all from the table at the bottom of my desktop. The icon is there but it will not open. I'm afraid of losing EVERYTHING that I had in my old version. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance. I'm not a happy camper.
even if you use firefox, iTunes 9 needs Safari 4 to work properly.
try running software update from the menu. from that menu you can also choose +about this Mac+ to check which system software you're running.
just update to/put Safari 4 on your machine and see what happens. you can continue to use FF.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List.
