Purchased iTunes music wont play on cell phone?

I have been downloading from iTunes Music store for the past 2 years, and am aware that they are protected. However, I am able to copy them to CD's to file away and for in my car, but for some reason it is not possible to copy them to my memory card on my Nokia N73? Does anyone know how to over-ride this, as it is legitimate purchased music, but I cannot see the point in purchasing music from iTunes any more if you cannot use the music on my phone? Any help appreciated, thanks..

get a program called total recorder
total recorder will allow you to record what ever comes out of your speakers and then save it to what ever format you want
so for example you want to save your m4p files to mp3
you go into the record amd source parameters of total recorder, select the sound board as your sound card with a stero mix, click recording format and select mpeg-3 with a bit rate of 192 or 256 (the larger it is the more quality the sound but the larger the file) hit ok
hit the record button and hit play on ya music player that is playing the song you want to record
wait till its finished then just save the track and then you can put it and play it where eva you want as its not protected and is just a commen mp3 music file

in the table theres pictures of folders click the first one on the left
use winrar to open this file once downloaded (like winzip but its for rar files) and then if you open the developers file in there it will give you key to unlock the program (i think you just click help and then register or something like that in total recorder)
the pro key may work too (pro is better than developers)
if not unlocked you will find you will get a beep of a few seconds placed every 30 seconds of your recording
note by doing doing this will remove the protection from your new recording but the original file will remain protected.
It is not illegal to do this however it is illegal to then sell or distribute the recording in anyway that breaks copyright

Networked iTunes music wont play in Front Row......initially (repeatedly!)

On my 4th day in Mac world, My (very nearly) fab Mac mini will play content from my networked HDD fine, but when I wake the Mac up from sleep, nothing will play in Front Row
When I double click the song in iTunes, it plays. I can then play all music in Front Row.
In iTunes, some music appears with an "!" next to it, but when I double click it - the song plays immediately, but will skip the next "!" marked song unless I double click it
What I've done since installing OS x:-
1. Set music location in iTunes to \\HDD\Music
2. Rescanned library
3. Added alias to \\HDD\video and \\HDD\photos in appropriate folders and scanned with iMovie and iPhoto - all media will now play in FR
4. exported itunes playlists from my Windows PC and imported to Mac
5. Clicked through ALL songs on main iPod sync playlist to remove "!"
6. Successfully sync'd iPod with everything (except Apps - scared of this at the mo!)
Any suggestions would be appreciated....thinking it may have something to do with importing the playlist or the external HDD doesn't mount unless I go via iTunes

...but when I wake the Mac up from sleep, nothing will play in Front Row...
Sleep disconnects all network connections. I would guess your Mac mini (and therefore Front Row) has lost contact with your networked hard drive. Once it re-establishes a connection, you've got your songs back. Perhaps you should set the screen but not the computer to sleep? You can adjust that with the Energy Saver System Preferences. I never turned my Mac mini off (except for software updates) or let it sleep for more than two years without any issues.

I just restored my computer from a crash, and luckily, was able to reload my itunes library from a norton 360 encrypted back-up. However none of the MP4 files will play on the new itunes 10 version. Anyone else had this problem? please advise.

Select one of the tracks with a broken link, press ctrl-i to Get Info. Say No when iTunes asks if you would like to locate the track, then look at the Summary tab for the location expects to find the file in.
Now try to locate the file in question. The two locations should give a clue as to what to do next.
Here is an example with a file I've deliberately moved from the new layout to the old pre-iTunes 9 layout.
This means iTunes is expecting to find the file at:
D:\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\a-ha\Take On Me\01 Take On Me.mp3
but it isn't there because I've moved it to:
D:\iTunes\iTunes Media\a-ha\Take On Me\01 Take On Me.mp3
which is where it would have lived back in iTunes 8 (though the media folder would have been called iTunes Music back then as well).
If you can provide the expected and actual locations of a broken track I should be able to suggest the easiest way to resolve things.

ITunes and Genius, purchased music wont play now

after installing iTunes Genius, my purchased music wont play now. it gets skipped over in normal play mode. the box next to selection has the "check". album artwork still shows up when song is highlighted.

Then your iTunes must be looking at the removable disc, not your hard drive. Did you actually copy the songs onto your computer, or simply tell iTunes to look at the removable drive?
Highlight a song and click on File/Get Info/Summary>Where and check the location that iTunes has listed for the song. What does it say?

It sounds like you restored the library in a way which has the library assoicated with the tracks on the external rather than the internal drive. Did you perhaps use iTunes to consolidate to that drive before the transfer and copy the library files over independently?
I have script called FindTracks that can usually repair broken links, alternatively I might be able to guide you through some steps that would make the library on the external drive work as a self contained unit, and having done that you should be able to copy the library files to the internal drive to repair that one. See make a split library portable for details.

Media can be restored from the backup that should be kept of your important files. If you do not have a backup, that is not good.
Since you stated you recoved your music, does the music now actually exist on the computer? Do you see it in iTunes? What happens when you try to play it? Details are important, otherwise a lot of time can be wasted on irrelevant troubleshooting.
If the new music is playing, that would lead me to suspect that the old music was in fact not recovered.

iTunes in the Cloud is a free feature that gives you access to your past purchases which you can then download to your library or stream. You can disable the display of Cloud items by going into iTunes preferences from the menus or press Control-Comma, then select the Store tab and untick Show itunes in the Cloud purchases.

Most of my music is stored in icloud with itunes match. I know that i can only listen to songs that i have downloaded from icloud to my phone when i have no service. I noticed last night at the gym that i can get through one song and after that my downloaded music wont play. I have to reset my phone before more songs will play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

look in the headphone jack, if there is a red light.
When the red light is on it is in a digital mode, there is a switch in there that sometimes gets stuck.
Try a tooth pick, or a Q tip with the tip cut off and gently wiggle it around in there.

It appears that the audio file is in the footer of the page. Move it into the bottom of the body and see if it will display and play correctly.

Yes, the tracks were purchased in the iTunes store. I'm sure that DRM is the culprit. Seems like an obvious answer now that I think about it.
