My iPad goes back to the desk top after a few seconds when I touch itunes
Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Trouble after install stage - LR quits after a few seconds
Hey, I was a suer of the beta and temporary license. I then purchased a box version, de-installed everything. When I launch LR, the screen where I can choose to purchase, use demo (option is no longer opened) vanishes after too few seconds for me to do anything useful and the application quits. Anyone having faced this ? My system is Apple PowerMac G5 Dual, OS X 10.4.9

While loading the browser is quick starting up, I notice a delay to open any website, like it's preloading the entire page versus just loading. Safari seems like it's a bit sluggish overall with loading web pages.
Did a internet speed test and my U/D rates are the same after the upgrade. -
I updated to Acrobat X Standard 10.1.12 Update Just Quits after a Few Seconds

I read on another Adobe Forum that Deactivate is only an active menu option if a PDF file is open through Acrobat. So, I used my "allotted" few-second window to open Acrobat, quickly open a file, and then open the Help menu. Since I only had a few seconds for each attempt, I had to practice a bit to do this.
After a few tries, the EULA dialog box popped up and I was able to ACCEPT the agreement. (Because of the very short time window before Acrobat shut down, I'm not sure really if I could retrace my steps from the Help Menu on.) However, once was able to accept the EULA, Acrobat has been working.
It's been a good week now since I did this, and all is well...

iPhone 5s. All up to date. Tried deleting Facebook app then reloading. No help. Tried shutting iphone off/on. No help. Tried long reset of iPhone. No help. Tried again reloading Facebook. Still it loads fine but quits after a few sconds. Anoyone else with the problem? Any suggestions? Heelp!!

Why do iTunes Store preview samples quit after a few seconds?
When I click on the preview for songs in iTunes now, the song quits after only a few seconds. This problem started just today. I have restarted the computer and have reinstalled iTunes.
1. Use these DNS: Google and Verizon DNS
Primary DNS = 8.8.8.8 Secondary DNS = 4.2.2.1
2. Then apply these instructions:
Windows XP
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return(Enter) on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
On the Start menu, point to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return(Enter) on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.

Latest update lets iTunes crash after a few seconds.
Hi,
today I was asked to update iTunes to the latest version (11.someting, as I recall), what I did. The updater loaded about 100 MB and instatlled everything without an error.
After starting iTunes, everything was fine at first, but a few seconds later, Windows claimed: "ITunes is not working anymore, looking for a solution.
and shortly after that "... the programm will be closed"
OS: Win7/64
What can I do?

Itunes quits after a few songs
This should be easy (for others, but not me). I have been using iTunes with an Extreme and a couple of expresses for quite some time and it works pretty well. The problem I am having is - it quits after playing 20 or so songs. When the music goes off I check the computer (I have to log in again) and iTunes has quit completely. I start it up again, check the dates last played and start with the next song and it will play for another hour.
I suspect I have screen savers set incorrectly or I am allowing the disk drives to quit after a period of an hour. I would have thought that if there was an active program, the computer would not try to shut components off. I must be missing something. Help!I do not have shuffle turned on. I do have one track that without the check. I thought that this check meant skip when shuffling. When I look at the options for the track (Get Info/Options) "Skip when shuffling" is not checked. iTunes does not quit on this song.

ITunes skipping after first few seconds.
So I've imported a cd using Itunes 9.
It's created a folder with a load of m4a files.
Whilst playing in Itunes, after about 15 seconds, the track skips to the next track.
I've tried deleting and re-importing - the same problem.
REALLY annoying. The m4a files work fine in other media players.
Any ideas?Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading selectDownloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloadsisunticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

And you need to update Safari as well > Safari 5.0.6 for Leopard
Restart your Mac after the update is installed then try Safari.
Don't be concerned about sending the report to Apple. -
It's a cycle: open Acrobat > 5 seconds later Acrobat quits with no warning > license agreement page opens > I click Accept > Acrobat opens > Acrobat quits without warning ... repeat.
I have Acrobat X Pro v 10.1.13. I have Mac OS X 10.9.5.

I have Production Premium CS6 too.
I tried deleting the com Adobe files in Preferences under both Library and ~/Library, as a chat support tech recommended, as well as deactivating CS6, but this does not fix the problem.

Could you please try installing Creative Suite from a new user account.
Sometimes, a user account gets corrupt and prevents installer from accessing the required files.
Please create a new account with administrative privileges, log in to it and run the installer.

ITunes crashing after a few seconds...
Hey all,
So, iTunes has been acting up. I open it, and 10-15 seconds later, it's frozen.
I renders the whole system unresponsive and I have to restart. It's also trying to "determine gapless playback" or some such nonsense.
Any ideas? This happens whether or not iTunes is the only program running.
Thanks.in Users System prference you can create new user, log in as new user and try running iTunes.
if works, something is corrupted in the original user account.
if does not work, issue could be with the OS X or hard drive. -

When I am trying to preview a song in iTunes store, the song quits after about 10 seconds. Is this an iTunes problen, or how do I fix it from stopping?
Try my script FindTracks. Select a few of the missing files to start with then run the script. Choose No at the first prompt so that you can check how it works track by track, then confirm or edit the location of the media folder where your files are. Once you are happy with how it behaves let it process larger numbers of tracks automatically.

When I sync my iphone I get a popup that says 'ABAssistantService quit unexpectedly'. I can 'ignore', 'Report' or 'Reopen'. The popup comes right back after a few seconds no matter which option I choose. The only way to make it stop is to reboot the computer. Any ideas?

7 &Vista:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
Find and delete any and all .ipsw files on your computer. There should only be one, but delete all that you find. Next, disable ALL firewalls & security software on your computer. Connect your phone, iTunes running & restore from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone.
This will force iTunes to re-download the .ipsw file, as I suspect yours is corrupt. -

I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). I was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.
