Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue.

Error 11 is a strange one...if you search the discussions for error 11 you will get a number of hits but none with a real resolution other than getting the iPod to restore, which you have done. And one person indicates this does not appear in the support data base...already found that out.
If you have restored, have a backup and can restore from that, you might try the update again, or wait for the next update whenever that comes out.
Not a very satisfactory answer but if it is working again...

I am having trouble accessing my purchases and upgrades for apps.
One Error message is

To authorise this computer for itmes purchased from the iTunes Store choose Store>Authorise this computer.
Then This message appears

Hi - in the app store, I've logged in with no problem, but when I go into my existing purchases and have INSTALL next to everything I've bought, and try to click on them it says;
"There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (100)".

You may want to try this:
1. Backup iPad
2. Setup iPad as new. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
3. Test iPad thoroughly
4. If everything is fine, restore backup to iPad

Installed Microsoft updates yesterday & today I click on Firefox and it does not load. If I go to download a new Firefox, it tells me to close existing Firefox before the download. I can't see Firefox open anywhere.

Try DFU Mode Restore. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes.
