My iTunes refuses to confirm my billing address!
I have entered all of my billing inquiries correctly, but it is still stating "We couldn't verify your address. Make sure you have entered it correctly" blah blah blah! WHAT IS GOING ON! I don't want to pay for Apple to decide what is wrong.
When I launch the app it launches but when it tries to download anything, or if I try to do anything that requires connection to the store it just waits endlessly. After a very long while I get a message saying I should check my internet connection.

ITunes 6.0 and invalid billing address
I recently upgraded to iTunes 6.0. Now every time I try and purchase music iTunes tells me I have an invalid billing address. This is the same address I have been at for 5 years, and using for iTunes for 3. I tired the email support but just got the generic email back. iPod customer support verifies that my address is fine but they have no involvement with iTunes customer support. Does anyone have a way to contact a live person in iTunes customer support? Anyone else have this issue?
OK, Now I'm downloading. I changed the county to that which my city center is in (Yamhill), despite that my HOUSE is in a different county (Washington).

On itunes it says that my billing address is the United States but I'm in the UK. It doesn't give me an option to change it either.. How do I change it?!! Also, whenever trying to enter bank details into itunes, it tells me they are wrong, is it because my billing address is wrong?! Please help!!
What card are you Using. Are you using a card from the US or the UK? Because if you live in the UK and trying to access the UK Store, then you need to use a card that has a billing address in the UK. Go back to Settings > iTunes and App Store then click view Apple ID and click payement Info and make sure everything is correct as far as your payment info and Billing Address

US iPad doesn't accept UK billing address details
I bought my iPad from the US but I live in the UK, so my billing address has UK postcode (includes letters and numbers). However whenever I try to buy something from the Appstore, the ipad asks to confirm my billing address on my appleID and by default asks me to change my postcode to US format (00000) and add a US state. Therefore my credit card payment doesn't go through as I have to put in a dummy postcode/state...
Could this be because I originally got my appleid when I used to live in the US? Is there a way to fix this? Should I get a new appleID and reset my ipad? I recently moved out of the US to another country and changed my billing address at my credit card company to my new country. Now iTunes won't let me edit my credit card billing information because the "edit" option on the billing address only lets you change states, not countries. There is a non-spendable balance on my iTunes account because it's an odd amount, and iTunes won't let me change my iTunes store to my new country as long as there is a balance showing in my US iTunes store account. So I'm stuck. I can't spend my balance in my account. I can't change the balance to a spendable amount because iTunes no longer accepts my credit card because my credit card's new zip code billing address doesn't match my iTunes account. I can't change my iTunes account to my new country as long as there is a balance in my US iTunes store. How can I change my iTunes account information to my new country under these circumstances?
I am stuck with a similar problem. I moved from Ireland to the UK but for some reason, iTunes would not let me change the country in my payment information, it remains Ireland. I do not have any credit to spend and I still cannot change it. I even set up a new iTunes account and the country still remains uncangable. Hence, I cannot add the details of my UK card as iTunes believes it is set in Ireland. Have you managed to solve your problem?

Expanding on what RG said, you need a credit card issued by a bank in the country in which you are and that has its billing address there. Since your credit card was issued by a US bank but has a Polish billing address, that card will not be usable in either the US or Polish iTunes Store. If you reside now in Poland, then as RG said you will need to get a card issued by a Polish bank with a Polish billing address. Or, if Apple offers prepaid iTunes cards in Poland (you cannot use cards issued in another country), you could use those.

How to enter a Turkish billing address in iTunes?
I am changing my iTunes store from UK to Turkey.
I am entering correct billing information and using a valid card (I have checked this with my bank), but it keeps getting declined by iTunes.
The problem is the billing address. It is not clear how to enter a Turkish address in the form and what piece of information to put in each field. For example, the "Mahalle" should come first in the address but is this the reason iTunes doesn't accept it? I've tried entering it all on one line and swapping the order around but it doesn't work. I called Apple but they said they can't advise as to why a card would not be valid, which is obvious. I don't think that they understood that my question was related to the user-friendliness of the form with Turkish addresses.
Has anyone been successful at entering a Turkish address on iTunes? If so, how and what order does the information come in?Hello meegster,

In order to make individual tracks available for sale on the iTunes Store, songs are separated by the record label at the time of encoding. You can choose to hear your music fade smoothly between songs, without any gaps of silence. By default, Crossfade Playback is turned on.

All of a sudden, iTunes wont verify my billing address. It accepted it just fine when i verified it a few days ago and ive made several purchases since then. But now my formerly valid address in invalid. This happened to me about a month ago as well.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, you can't use that iPod.

hi all. Hope someone can help me because I'm getting very frustrated and not finding answers! I am trying to change my billing address in my itunes store account, but itunes is not allowing me to do this. At the bottom of the page, I only get the 'cancel' button, no 'done' button to make changes. I am using an HP mini, and am a registered US itunes account holder, living outside the US right now (East Timor to be precise).
Why won't the store let me change my info? I'm not having any other problems.The possible reasons are:
1. Store credits in your account
2. Pending downloads

Can i buy itunes gift card online from ireland, which can be redeemed in the USA. I do not have a US credit card or billing address (just an Irish one)
You might be able to buy the gift cards from Best Buy. They sell iTunes cards and will accept international credit cards. See:

They say that you can't order iTunes "codes", but I don't know if that applies to the physical cards. But you can try it.

I want to download an app which is unfortunately not available on the Indian iTunes app store. I have an internationally valid credit card with my billing address in India. I tried to change my store settings to see if I could log into the US iTunes store, but since all my credit cards are registered on my address in India, I am unable to log into the US store.
Can somebody please help me in this regard?You cannot. To open an account on a different iTunes country you must have a valid credit card issued from a bank in that country. You must have a billing address in that country, as well.
There are reasons why some apps are not available in all iTunes stores. -
I am english & live in France. My account & Billing Address are both registered in France. I wish to purchase Books in English. However whenever I access the UK iTunes website to make a purchase I am automatically diverted to the French web site. The selection of books in English on that site is very limited. Can I set up a separate account to make purchases of English books in addition to my existing account?
You can only buy content from your own country's iTunes store - to be able to buy from, for example, the UK store you will need to be here in the UK and have a UK billing address on your account.
If there are particular ibooks that you would like to be able to buy then you can try requesting that they be added to the French store, but unless the publisher's agree to it then Apple won't be able to sell them there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
Do you have access to other ebook apps/stores in the French store e.g. Kindle app for Amazon, Nook, Kobo - you might be able to get English-language versions of ebooks from them. -

The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.
