My iTunes shuts down when I try to sync my iPad
Please help! Everytime I try to sync my ipad iTunes shuts down.
Just took out the book from the library "Sams Teach Yourself itunes 10 in 10 minutes" by Brad Miser.
Basics for problems syncing:
-restart computer
-make sure device is not out if power
-try a different usb port...BTW....I contaminated a usb port by someone spilling drink on the usb port end of my ipod cord...bad...
-run apple's web-based device assistant

clink for the device...etc.

Itunes shuts down when I try to sync videos
I have successfully synced videos in the past. Recently, Itunes shuts down every time it trys to synch the videos.
Are you trying to sync them from the photos tab?
If so, try importing the videos into itunes and then syncing them from the movies tab.
You'll also want to uncheck 'Sync Videos' in the photos tab. -
My iTunes shuts down when I try to sync my itouch
Whenever I try to sync my ipod touch (4th Generation), iTunes stops working and shuts down. I'm able to back up my ipod, but when it starts syncing my songs, it shuts down. I have tried everything to fix it, and nothing works.

I am having trouble updating apps through iTunes, iTunes shuts down when I try to sync.
I am having trouble updating apps that I have on my iPhone through iTunes. I go through the update then when syncing I get an error message iTunes has to shut down. The only way I have been able to work around is to delete the app and download it again. If I don't do this the app says waiting on my iPhone.
I just got the same message myself. Which I have only had 2 times in three years, so I checked here.

There is an issue with the iTunes Store on Apple's end, so I assume that is why we cannot connect. -

ITunes shuts down when I try to purchase songs
When I click "buy album" it connects to the store, and then iTunes shuts down. It also shuts down when I try to "check for purchases." I am running the newest version of iTunes. It also did this with my previous version.
Real Player also shuts down, when I download videos.
I have re-installed both iTunes and real player around 5 times. So that will not help.

Itunes 11.1
When I try to manage my apps in itunes, itunes shuts down as soon as I click the apps tab. Everything else syncs just fine. What's the fix? This is really silly but here is the soultion:
You can't have Newsstand hidden in a folder.
If you do, move it to the homescreen then you will be able to access the Apps tab in iTunes 11.1. You can always move it to the folder afterwards. You can't have Newsstand hidden in a folder. ITunes shuts down when I try to play video
Every time I try to open a TV show or movie on my iTunes, a window pops up that says "iTunes has stopped working."
And then it shuts down. Anyone have any crafty solutions for me? Is it my fault? Did I anger the gremlins, or do I just need to download something?Correction: Movies play just fine. Apparently it's only the tv shows that kill my iTunes. Any help is much appreciated.

Why does iTunes shut down when i try to access the store?
My iTunes has worked fine for many years but recently it started shutting down as soon as i clicked the Store, Match or Ping link.
Just deleting and reinstalling the software won't delete your music. Your music is stored on your computer. But, you should backup your iTunes purchases on a timely basis regardless.

I downloaded and installed the new iTunes 12 on my Windows 7 computer. Playing songs in iTunes work but when I login to my account. It says that it needs to be verified. iTunes closes before I can go through the verification process.
