My itunes will not burn CD's...everytime I attempt to burn a CD it gets to the finishing disk point and says it is unable to burn the disk
Each time i attempt to burn a CD, it quits right before it is finished and flashes an "error" message. if i try to play the CD it show up with how many song are on the disk, but no music plays.
Try a different disc manufacture. I have good luck with Maxell.
And make sure the disc is free of smudges and finner prints so the optical disk can write data to it.

From what you describe it sounds like you are getting this error message when trying to burn a CD in iTunes even after uninstalling the iTunes application:
"Warning! The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."
I recommend uninstalling not only iTunes but its associated softwares as well, as outlined in the following article:

iTunes installs a device filter which helps it work with your optical drive. If this device filter is missing, you will see the message mentioned above. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below to reinstall iTunes and put the device filter back in place:

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

Sattelite a205-5500 itunes will not burn cd
i had toshiba remote acces my computer cause the computer kept saying it couldnt find a dvd/rom so they got that straight but when i try to use itunes a message keeps poping up saying that it cant find the information in the registry for the cd burner, and to reinstall itunes. My laptop is up and the Internet is fine. I can search in the iTunes store all I want. I cannot update any purchase nor make new ones because the CC on my account is not good. I bought an I tunes gift card so I had a balance available. But everytime I try to take off that bad CC it says "Try again later." It's been 3 days! I need to update my apps. My PW in iTues will not work. Even after changing it. Window pops up and ask for PW. Over and over.
I would be worried about that - but it may turn out to be nothing.
Since you already changed your password, you're probably OK - but I recommend looking at your purchase history to see if there's any unauthorized purchases (use iTunes on your Mac or PC to go to the itunes store, then click your account in the upper-left or upper-right corner). If there are any new purchases that you didn't make, click the button to report problem (and if they happened after you reset your password, you should immediately change your password again).
I think sometimes when you change your password and verifiy your credit card info, it can "reset" the warnings - so it may actually have been you logging in to your own account that caused you to get the warning. But I'm not absolutely sure of that, so it's best to check your purchase history (and reset your password if necessary - but you already did that).
I also recommend turning on "two-step verification" (but Apple makes you wait a few days after changing your password to turn that on). With "two-step verification", Apple will send you a text message with a 4-digit code the 1st time you try to buy something from a new computer - since a hacker won't have your phone, they won't be able to continue (theoretically). After the 1st time, it goes back to mostly working normally (until the 1st time you try to purchase from another new computer, then you get another text message - so this alerts you to someone, somewhere else, trying to get into your account). -

My iTunes will not burn a lot of my music as MP3s
I am trying to create a MP3 cd with music from my iTunes.
Most of the music is from CDs.
But it doesn't seem to matter what format the music originally came in (imported) as because some of it can be turned into MP3s and some of it can not.
Please tell me what to do in this situation. I know that some of the music from iTunes music store will only allow me to burn a certain amount of times before it does not allow me to anymore. However, I have never burned any of my purchased music to a CD yet. Also, most of the music that I want to burn into MP3 format onto a disc is from my own personal CD collection.
Is there anything I can do. The problem is that my girlfriend's MP3 player is not an iPod so that I need to make the music MP3 and not MP4 because the player she has only reads MP3s.What format is my music converted to when I import from CD?

5) playback cd and discover order is incorrect.
6) look on internet for help - hours later, discover there is none.
7) bust cd in rage - vacuum up shards.
8) start looking for alternatives to itunes.

ITunes will not burn or import CDs
I recently installed iTunes 7. Out of nowhere it won't Burn or import CDs. When I open iTunes a message states "can't burn or import because CD Configuration folder is not in the same folder as iTunes". My CD configuration folder is in the same folder as my iTunes folder. I attempted to reinstall iTunes, but with no avail. Then I deleted the CD Configuration folder and iTunes Setup folder, then I reinstalled iTunes, but again I had no success. If you have any pointers please inform me. I'm really confused because what iTunes is telling me is wrong, is actually how it is supposed to be. Recently I've downloaded a DVD Ripping Software and Nero Software, so perhaps that has something to do with it. But anyway if you have any solutions let me know.

ITunes will not burn playlists after loading the ION USB Turntable software
Loaded EZ vinyl converter, which allows copying of LPs and importing them into ITunes. All went well with first album and it can be played on my computer. I cannot burn a disc- either the LP I loaded or music already there.
The discs are good.
Any others with this issue?
Any solutions?All my LP downloads go well and they sound great over the computer's speakers, but I can't burn anything, either from iTunes or from Windows Media Player.
I even deleted the turntable software and tried burning, with no luck.
And, I haven't gotten a response from the ION folks.
I don't want to take the computer to my local fixer, only to find that there's a simple software solution. -
Songs and Playlists cannot be dragged from the itunes app onto desktop or usb drives.
Files can be dragged from Finder but only one at a time.
The issue started when I updated Yosemite out of BETA.

What you need to do with music or anything extra that you doing you have to creat a second playlist or picture or anything that you would like to use, so that you can add to the second device that you are going to be using. I am not sure if that will help but it helped me out a lot!! Good luck!

These ones are tricky. But the following instructions are worth a try.
First do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related components (but don't reinstall just yet), as per the following document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
a. Launch regedit (Start >> Search Programs and Files >> type Regedit and open the regedit that comes up.)
b. Access the following Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData \S-1-5-18\Components
c. Perform the following actions
i. Right Click on Components Folder
ii. Select Permissions
iii. Select Full Control and Read Permissions options
iv. Select Advanced Button
v. Select Owner Tab
vi. Select to Change Owner to the Administrators
vii. Check the option “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects”
viii. Select OK when prompted that it may not change all.
ix. Select Apply
x. Select Apply again
xi. Exit the Registry Editor
Now try reinstalling iTunes again. Does it go in properly this time? -
I have a lot of music on my ipod that is not in Itune and I have songs in Itunes that are not on my Ipod. What can I do to combine the two? I do not want to erase my Ipod. I have a lot of CDs that I put in Itunes and synced to my Ipod before I had to formatted my computer's hard drive. It took hours to put my songs on the computer. Once the hard drive was erased, I installed Itune and connected my Ipod. Since I am using the same computer, why does Itune not recognize that my Ipod and computer are the same ones that are linked to my account? What can I do to sync Itunes and my Ipod that does not require earasing my Ipod?

I use my iPad for music when i teach my dance class. The default layout in the music program on iPad is: song title, artist and album. I need the name of the dance, so in iTunes, I right click on the song title, then choose "get Info". I then edit the info and under album title I write in the dance name. Then when i sync the iPad still has the same three columns, but the info i need displays under the album column. UNTIL i upgraded to ios7 and installed the latest iTunes. When I synced last night, after adding new music, the songs that were already in the playlist, stayed the same. ALL the new songs were placed in the playlist but none of the info that i edited synced. It shows it as i want it when i look at the playlist in iTunes, but it does not carry over after the sync.
I hope this makes sense and does anyone have any idea why?Amazing! I'm a dance instructor and am doing the exact same thing as you - and not seeing what I need on my iPad Air ...
