My iTunes Wishlist

Question

Here are some things that would make my iTunes experience much easier:
1. Ability to delete files from within the program, instead of having to 'show file location', delete, delete.
2. Ability to sort songs by availability (i.e. by '!'). This would make getting rid of dead files much easier.
3. When it comes to uploading music to my iPod, it would be FANTASTIC to have an option to discard duplicate songs. I would be thrilled with this alone, but it would also be nice if we had an option to discard duplicate artists, too. Or to be able to impose a limit on the number of songs per artist/album/etc.
4. Is there a way for iTunes to remember what songs were in a playlist, even if a song or three has been externally moved/renamed? WinAmp does this and I greatly appreciate the ability... I make a lot of mixes and playlists and it's frustrating to go back to a playlist after I've done some file processing, and half the songs are gone.

This works now, if you allow iTunes to manage your
library. When iTunes is managing the library, you can
press delete on a song, and it asks if you want to
move the file to the recycle bin.
Er.. I don't see the option for this. The only thing I see that's remotely connected is "Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized", which I did once accidentally and I know I don't want to do it again.

of all dead tracks in the library all at once.

Export the Playlist as an XML file after you're
satisfied with it. You can import it later if the
playlist gets honked up because you moved files
around.
