My itunes wont register my ipad

My iTunes wont register my iPad after I upgraded my iTunes and my iPad. It use too however for some reason now it wont. I've restarted my iPad and computer as well as uninstall iTunes and re-stalled again. What do I do?

I tried to update my ipad today and i accidently disconnected it, now it is saying on the ipad screen connect to Itunes but the computer wont register my ipad, but earlier it was saying something about apple mobile device. need ipad for school HELP?

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Itunes wont recognize my ipad, even after i have done all the support recommended solutions

i have tried everything to get my ipad to be recognized in my itunes. i did all the steps on uninstalling & reinstalling itunes & the files for the mobile devices per apples support suggestions and still nothing.

It is possible you have a bad cable. If it is convenient to stop by an Apple Store, their Genius can run diagnostics on your iPad.

Itunes wont recognize new ipad 2 - thinks its a camera. urgently need to sunc in next few hours for overseas trip. itunes synced fine with other ipad.

My iPad crashed while it was connected to the computer, it then displayed the connect to itunes image, I did that and the computer said it had detected an ipad in recovery mode so I clicked restore but then i got an error 9 message which I wasn't suprised by because my normal usb connector cord isn't working very well at the moment so I used a different usb cord which I know for sure works but the computer refuses to detect the ipad and the ipad is diplaying an apple logo with a gray bar underneath it so I don't know what to do. HELP!!!!

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to step 3 closely.

Did you try to put it in recovery mode as explained in the article? You may have to try a couple of times until the "connect to iTunes screen" shows up and your device shows up in iTunes.

As you have supplied no error message and/or information on what happens when you try...
See if this is related to your issue...
Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again...

My itunes wont register my 2g shuffle-help!

I just bought my mom an ipod shuffle snd generation and im trying to register it, well I did that then it asked me to agree to the terms and conditions blah blah blah i clicked agree and there it sits. Everyonce in a while i will be a error message saying that it can be synced becasue the required file is not avaible. what does that mean? im pretty computer ******** obviously and im in need of help!

Ipad Disabled, I know my password, never sync'd it to itunes, wont connect to itunes...

Title technically explains everything but here is the story....
Some idiot at work tried to guess my password on my iPad; he tried enough times that it disabled it.
I have never sync'd my iPad to iTunes.
I DO know my password.
I installed iTunes on my computer for the first time and now my iTunes wont recognize my iPad.
Keeps claiming that I need to enter the password to unlock it....
Little hard to enter the password to unlock it when it does not give me the option to enter a password to unlock it.
Please tell me that in 24 hours it will allow me to enter my password and unlock itself.....
Or there is someway to bypass the disable to unlock this machine....
Please do not tell me Apple wasted millions of dollars reinventing the same device for the last ten years and put a simple task involving recovery issues without complete factory restore on the back burner....

You should have sync'd it to an computer via iTunes
You should have purchased a tablet from a reputable company.....

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost.

Directly after updating iTunes to 11.1.4.64, itunes wont recognize my iPad 3. I'm running the latest version of Windows 8. I have never had problems with this before and I am trying to avoid unistalling iTunes so that all of my book and music don't have to be reinstalled. Any suggestions?

Search your hard drive for a file containing ITL in it. That is the file extension for the itunes database file. You might need to set Win Explorer options to show NOT hide file extensions.
Once you are sure you know where that file is, press AND HOLD the shift key while starting itunes. Keep holding the shift key until you see a question about choosing or creating a library. Choose the ITL file you found during your search.

If you followed these instructions and you were unable to enter recovery mode, I'm still leaning toward a hardware problem. Also, since you have IOS-7, read this. It might help.
