My Jdeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 can not be update now

Question

Today I use the "check for update" in the help menu.
It find tow updates:
1,rules tools 10.1.3.36.73
2,simple JavaBean Editor Extension 1.0.1
by the way, I checked the "show upgrades only" in the update step 2 of 3.
when the updates download complete, it need restart.Click ok restart the jdev.
when restart jdev, it out a confirm for overwrite files.
check "skip this message next time", click ok
then the rate of progress go a liite only and stop.
first time, i think this update might slowly.
do something else wait it. a long time have passing, the rate of progress still stop in that rate.
then i closed the window. redo the update step, however it can't update,too.
someone has encountered this reason?
who can give me some suggestions to solved it?

Hi,
if nothing works, you can delete the system<version> directory in the jdev_home\jdev directory. This will make you loose your personal settings but might help you to startup again. Best is to rename this directory so you can rename it back in case deleting it doesn't help
