So the MIDI Sport has an A or B port selection?
MIDI Out of the interface to MIDI In on the K2000r
In the inspector on the left, (on a test track) set MIDI channel to ALL and try both the A & B ports.
Is the MIDI Interface plugged into a hub? If so try it on a port.
Did you upgrade anything recently, there was a version of OSX that stopped a bunch of USB stuff from working.
Is 10.7.5 correct?

IMic USB Audio System will not play in Logic Pro X, help?
Hi guys.. I'm still pretty new to Logic. I'm currently trying to connect a guitar for recording using a 1/4" cable connected to an iMic USB Audio system. When I plug it in Logic recognizes it immediately, however it will not record. When I play it nothing happens.
Here's what I've checked and tried:
In system preferences, when I select iMic as an input and play the guitar the signal picks up successfully.
In Logic Preferences, I have iMic USB Audio System selected for the input, and system setting for the output (to hear as I play).
I create a new "guitar" track and make sure it also has iMic selected as its input source.
It works fine in GarageBand, but not in Logic.
I've searched everywhere looking for an answer and can't seem to find anyone with this problem! Help!?
I'm using Logic 10.0.5 on Mavericks 10.9.2.

I just created a new profile/user on my MacBook Pro. My pointer/mouse on my trackpad. It works fine in my older user profile, but when I go to the new profile my mac will not respond to clicks. The Mouse moves but will not click. Already tried restarting and the pram zap. The problem starts when I log out of my main profile. I get to the login screen and my laptop stops responding to clicks. When I manage to make my way back to my main profile the mouse works perfectly. Should I just delete the new profile and try again?
If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues. -

My final cut pro x will not respond. It worked fine yesterday and now nothing. All I get is the spinning ball and nothing will open. I then check and it says it is not responding I have multiple video I am making and can not loose them.
Trash your preferences (use Preference Manager from Digital Rebellion) and repair permissions (use Disk Utility).
Hide your events and projects from FCP and then launch the application. Does it open? Then try with just the projects with no media. Then try adding one event at a time, closing the application each time. You're trying to determine if the application has a problem and then trying to isolate where the problem is. -
Mac will not respond to pressing on button
Hi, I installed a new HD in a MacBook Pro 17inch 2007 and the mac booted fine. I tightened the screws and now the Mac will not respond to the power button.
I've re-opened the mac and the fan just moves slightly when I press the powewr button and thats it.
I have reset the SMC but this has not helped.

I tried rebooting it by holding down the power and home button it reboots but Still no response to touch. I can't synch with macbook because it asks for password i can't type because screen doesn't work. what do i do to get device working again?
my fingers do not affect the screen period. it asks me to swipe the screen to open, which i can't do. when i restart the phone by holding the home button and power button, it turns on and asks for my passcode which i can not enter.
i can not access settings.
when i plug it into the macbook pro the laptop tells me it can not access the phone unless i unlock the phone with the passcode, which i can't do because the phone screen will not respond to touch.
how do i restore the phone using my computer? i can't get it to do anything. i tried plugging it into the laptop while off, and then turned it on, no luck. i held the home button while plugging into the laptop, no luck. updated itunes everything. -

Funny you should ask... At about the same time that the Xserve was discontinued, we also lost our channel rep of nearly 14 years. Right now we are not sure who our rep is. I have however, sent this to as many people in Apple that I could think of. And I plan on continuing to reach out to as many as possible.
The sad reality is that this decision is impacting customer deployments and the future of customer installations. Apple strives for market share and loves to tout those numbers. But the numbers we fought for over these last eight years are going to disappear.
As much as this impacts our business, we are making up for it in enterprise deployment of systems. We will survive and lead in our geographic area. I do not fear that. But OS X Server is a UNIX server and with it has come all of the benefits of a UNIX system, including legitimacy in a data center. The Intel Xserve cemented this reality because of its hardware configuration and form factor. Yes, we have G4 and G5s still in service. But those are mostly in all Mac shops that understand the benefits and can work around the buzz word limitations. But fortune 100/500 IT departments did not really get on board until the release of the Intel server.
Still beating the drum to raise awareness. Spread the word and talk to your Apple reps.
Also, ask about the direction that Apple's Enterprise team is going. If the news I hear is correct, then our fears about all things pro and enterprise going away are likely true. -

this box with three options: learn more, save to my Yahooa1 ID, No thanks, just save to this computer, will not respond when any option is selected. It will not go away. It covers other tabs making them useless.
Did you ever figure this out? I bought my iPad last week to use in my business as well. I assume you are trying to use alldata? That is where I noticed this same issue. I had problems with identifix working with safari but downloaded a different browser and that works fine. Alldata does not work with either browser. The main difference is that on identifix if there is only one engine selection, it automatically selects the only option and continues to the home page. With alldata you have to make the selection manually even if there is only one option. Honestly if I can't get this to work I am going to return the iPad as it looses a significant amount of usefulness to men
