My kaspersky internet security is not working with firefor 5.0 why?

I recently updated my firefox to 5.0 version and now it says my add onns are not compatible. i have kaspersky internet security and the new firefox says it is not compatible for it.

You solved your own question. App World is NOT availabe in Pakistan.
RIM has explained in the past that they cannot offer AppWorld in countries where the carriers have not agreed to support AppWorld. Apparently your Pakistani moble providers need to step up to the plate.
So, your problem lies at home.

Ok so i re did my windows after i did a zero fill on my hard drive as it was showing a corrupted sector on my disk that seemed to fix it for now, until it comes back if it does crossing my fingers it gone for good. But now i can't seem to get Secure boot to work i mean i did not have it before as i just slapped the motherboard in with a existing windows, that was to be expected but this is a clean install of windows 8.1 and i even have secure boot on but its not working and reports as off in windows. Is it because i have my bios set to legacy+UEFI??? would that make secure boot not work??. i even went as far as turning it off and back on again the secure boot setting nothing made a difference. By Oracle documentation when you set the "process ws-security header" in security section of a proxy service, the proxy service act as an active intermediary and consume the ws-security header received in inbound messages. I am using SoapUi to call the proxy with passwordDigest, WSS-Password Type option set to PasswordDigest.
Proxy configured with:

HTTP Transport tab -> HTTPS Required = No / Authentication = Basic

Yes, but the flag "Process WS-Security header" needs to be set to 'No' and I included a delete node to remove the wsse:Security element from header. Attaching Auth.xml predefined policy to my request operation, causes OSB to include the policy directive in my WSDL, but the PasswordText(see below).
In Oracle security guide we have steps to configure PasswordDigest in the Oracle Service Bus Security Configuration using the WLS Console http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/security/model.html#wp1062542
My doubt is: Is this a bug? "Process WS-Security header" flag is supposed to work with PasswordDigest?

USB security key not working with Mac

Hello! I have a windows compatible medical program that I am trying to run on parallels on my mac. The program uses a USB security key to work. Mac nor parallels (i have win XP running on it) is detecting my security key. The key is recognized on a different windows XP PC though. any thought??? greatly appreciated!

My USB stick was originally formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) as default and out of the box. As I understand this is the same as FAT32 on Win (?)
MS-DOS (FAT) configuration was however what led to all of my problems stated above.
That is why I'm confused.
Before writing to the discussion board, I reconfigured the stick to ExFat, based on some similar research, but an article discussion advised the ExFat not to be a stable nor reliable configuration. I do not know why this issue was mentioned, but several users logged this as an issue of the ExFat.
If you have a USB stick meant for Mac use only, not cross-platform, do you alter configuration from MS-DOS (FAT)?
(Primary use is for Mac backup only, I'm willing to give up the cross-platform requirement)
I also don't understand why my Mac didn't detect a second USB stick, prior used on a different Mac.

Thinkpad laptop, red "mouse" button/nub in keyboard does not work with version 4.0, Why?

IBM and/or Lenova laptop computers have the red button/nub in the center of the keyboard that acts with "mouse" functions such as scrolling up and down pages. After downloading Version 4.0 of Firefox this feature does not work anymore. Is it locked in some settings?

i figured it out!
1) go to control panel
2) click on mouse
3) click on the UltraNav tab at the top
4) for the TrackPoint, i have the Enable TrackPoint box checked and the "Use as pointing device with advanced features
5) click on Settings
6) click on settings again towards the bottom right
7) for "Scrolling Type" click on Smooth.

Client Security solution not working with fingerprint, Fingerprint Tab is unavailable

Just recieved my Thinkpad T430 today and have done all updates on the system. I am trying to use Client Security Solution with my fingerprint however it will not allow me to do so. Whenever I go into password manager I get the message, "The requested operation requires fingerprint authentication, but the device is not installed. Please make sure the device is connected and retry the option". Any idea as to how I can fix this? Currently the fingerprint only works to logon to windows (Note: I'm Running Windows 7 Pro x64).

Wireless Internet ONLY Does Not Work With MacBook

I am really frustrated with my internet situation.
I have been in a new apartment for three weeks. I have a Motorola Surfboard cable modem, through Charter, hooked up to a Cisco Linksys E1000 router. The internet TYPICALLY works very well for both my MacBook and my wife's Dell (Windows...), but about once a day, the Internet on my Macbook stops working for about an hour, and it continues working on her computer. I can reboot the modem, the router, hook my computer directly up to the modem, whatever... it doesn't matter. It is like a curse from ****.
I have no idea what the problem could possibly be, and it is virtually impossible to do a Google search for it. If anyone has any idea whatsoever... I don't even really know where to begin. It seems extremely unusual for Internet to work fine on both computers usually, but to randomly, periodically, stop working on just one of them. I have never had a problem like this before.

Have you contacted Charter? Do you have neighbors/friends you could check with when you're experiencing an 'outage' to see if they're having the same problem?
I used a popular search engine and the search terms 'Charter internet trouble connecting' and found several choices. This link is one of several --> http://forums.speedguide.net/archive/index.php/t-146148.html
It details issues experienced by Charter customers from now going all the way back to 2004. One of the more common complaints seems to be that the service just drops out on occasion.

ITunes incompatible with Kaspersky Internet Security

Windows 8.1 running Kaspersky Internet Security doesn't work well with iTunes. Processes distnoted.exe and syncserver.exe are eating up 50% of the CPU (i5) after exiting iTunes or after simply connecting an iPod/iPhone/iPad. This is a common issue and it has its own thread on the Kaspersky forum:

Kaspersky officials have stated that they cannot fix this issue on their own because that would decrease the overall level of security provided by the program. I would like to continue using Kaspersky as it is a very popular and effective software. I only wish that Apple would cooperate with the Kaspersky team in solving the issue.

I suggest to write a feedback note to Apple.
They will not answer you but they certainly read it.
Kaspersky, besides being very slow, is good. However there are some other good AV apps for Windows: AVG, Avast!, Eset.
Do not use Norton or McAfee: they cannibalize your Windows machine.

Flash CS4 not working with Windows 7 64bit and Kaspersky Internet Security

I have a new i5 core computer running Windows 7 64bit retail. With Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 installed Flash CS4 becomes so unresponsive that it is completely unusable. Uninstall KIS and it works absolutely fine. I've already read on another forum that someone else is experiencing the same issue with the same combination of products. Is anyone else having this problem amd if so how did you solve it? I've posted on the Kaspersky forum with no solution thus far.
Does Norton work OK with Windows 7(64) and CS4?

Taxxem you are a star. Ideed turning off 'disable external service control' and disabling 'self defense' under 'settings -options' does indeed bring Flash back to life. Disabling self-defense had the most impact (and causes Kaspersky to grumble somewhat) but disabling external service control also had an impact, albeit much smaller. I'll post this solution against my Kaspersky forum post and hopefully they will do something about it.
