My keyboard does not work properly when texting etc

Hi All
My keyboard does not work properly on my Iphone 4 when texting, it brings the wrong letter or wont let me choose the one i want. Anything i can do to correct this or is it a visit to apple?

I have rebooted and synchronised it with the mac. I dont even have to touch the screen now and some letters get picked up.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

Application does not work properly when I press a CommanButton

Hi all, I am having a problem with weblogic 10.3.5.
It turns out that an application built with JDeveloper 11.1.5, I test it, and everything goes well in the JDeveloper integrated Weblogic.
But when deploy in a standalone weblogic 10.3.5 server, the application does not work properly when I press a CommanButton to go to another page search (the property "action" is set correctly) , but nothing happens, stays in the same home page. Similarly when a commanButton link to run a task-flow, It do not work , however in the JDeveloper integrated Weblogic it runs correctly.
How I can solve these problems?

Thanks Frank for help us, but when I writing this comment we are doing at home. So, we going to test the page in a stand alone weblogic server 10.3.5. We wrote the URL as :

this application contains a report desing and compiled with iReport 4.5.1 ( last version in the moment ), we can see the report when I press a commanButton without any problem.
But now, we need try your suggestions in the office, and give you more information about it . Thanks for the moment.

Image display control scrolling does not work properly when zoomed in

I am using a ROI on an image in the image display control. When zooming into the image to fine-adjust the positioning of the ROI, the image scrolling does not work properly. As far as I understand, the image should scroll automatically when the ROI is leaving the visible area. However, the scrolling behaviour seems to depend on the origin of the Labview panel, not the origin of the image display control, which might require to move the ROI way out of the visible area before the scrolling takes place. In other words: the coordinate system of the image display control is shifted with respect to the true visible image area, depending on where you place it on the front panel. As a consequence, when clicking on a ROI which is in the visible area, but is outside of what Labview thinks is the visible area, it might immediately jump to the left border of the image, making the positioning of the ROI really difficult.
Has anyone noticed this behaviour, and what would be a reliable solution to avoid this?

no, I am not talking about the tools palette. Just place an image control with some image in it on a new VI front panel. Then, use the rectangle from the tools and select a ROI in the image. If you zoom in (using the magnification glass), and then grab the ROI and move it around, the image scroll with the ROI. So far, so good. If you now place the image control elsewhere on the panel, or add new control above it, resize the panel, etc. , this scrolling when moving the ROI will not work correctly if the origin (0,0) of the panel is far away from the image control.
I have attached a VI for simplicity (although there is hardly any code in it).
If you make a ROI and try to move it down, you will notice that scrolling starts if you move the mouse out to about 10cms below the image (depens on your screen, of course). After that, if you click on the ROI, the scroll bars and ROI might jump up to the upper end of the image. Imagine how annoying this is if you try to finely adjust the ROI position.
I think it is a bug in the implementation of the image display control.

Subvi does not work properly when called inside a vi

Hello Every body
thanks for your help. i am using a sub vi for sine signal generation. as a vi it works fine. but when i called this subvi inside another VI it gives some problems. for example timer indicator works properly.it reinitializes as well in the sub vi, but in the main VI it does not work properly. means does not count the time.in the sub vi on the fly i can change the values of frequency and amplitude in real time, but when i use as sub vi, it does not reponse as i change the values in the control arrays.similarly pause and continue works properly in the sub vi, but once again in the main VI, it does not work properly.graph indicator also work properly in the sub vi. but here once again it does not work properly in the main VI.the pause resume indicator also does not blink, when it is continue. in the subvi it blinks very well.generally why the sub vi does not work properly inside the VI?i am sending my VI and sub vis.
any tips would be highly appreciated.

I just want to add some more details to Dan's answer. The subVI is acting exactly like you've coded it. The mistake is in understanding how subVIs work. When you call a subVI (or a function in any other language), you pass some parameters to it, the subVI does it's thing and returns values. the subVI does not accept new parameters from the calling VI until it returns to the caller and the caller runs the subVI again. In your case, you have a subVI with a while loop. You have some front panel control wired to the subVI's stop terminal. When first called, the value is false. So the subVI will keep running until the subVI's stop button becomes true but you cannot change it from main until the subVI finishes and returns so the subVI will never stop. As Dan says, the solution is pass references of front panel controls to the subVI and have the subVI monitor those references for changes and to update references to indicators on Main. You subVI does not need any front panel controls or indicators of it's own.

Dynamic Height in Graphs does not work properly when the graph is in an list

I have an report in SQL Server 2008 (SP1) Reporting Services which uses Dynamic Height to dynamically increase the size of the graph for the data. For a single dataset this works great!
When I place this graph in a list/tablix (to display this graph on each group) things go bad... Only the first graph on every page is resized, all other graphs on the same page are equal in size of the first!
When I place a pagebreak on the lists property all graphs are drawn fine!! But then I will have a page for every question in my data (which can be a lot!)
What is going on here? Please help.

thanks for your reply, but this does not work. The graphs are now all the same size (the size of the first one that is), and on the same page for that matter...
It looks like the renderer calculates the value of the dynamic height only once on a page in stead of each graph. That's a bug in my opinion.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
The inner workings of the report are like this: The data contains anwers from a survey by question, so i have a unknown count of answers with each question; I placed a list on my report with a groupingproperty on the question asked. On this list i place a horizontal bar-graph which must grow in height when it is too small. The dynamic height should be calculated like this =70 + (CountDistinct(AnswerValue.Value)*10) & "pt".
When i place this calculation in a textbox, every item in the group is calculated correctly. Each graph is drawn, but the graphs are sized only to the size of the first graph on the page. When I place a pagebreak after each list-repeat (so i get each question on a seperate page) each graph is drawn correctly! This results however in more than 100 pages with all used for just a few centimeters (think about trees!).
I'm using SQL 2008 / SSRS2008 with SP1 by the way ( without SP1, the behaviour is the same).
Any more suggestions are appreciated.

Alu Keyboard does not work properly with OS Tiger 10.4.11

Hi Folks,
I bought a 'new' second hand wireless Alu Keyboard (apparely latest type). Unfortunately I do not get the hotkeys for media files, like 'play / stop' and 'quick forward - backward' or 'silence' and 'increase and decrease volume' working.
The system software does not allow me to adjust those keys, e.g. dashboard I could change to F4, where it belongs, but not the other ones.
I loaded the latest OS Tiger 10.4.11 and also the KeyboardSoftwareUpdate1.2.dmg already.
Any idea what I do wrong or what else can help?

Some of the latest keyboard & mouse hardware require OS X 10.5.x+ to be
running the computer they would be expected to work with, in order to have
all of their features and functions work correctly.
Note the product information in Apple Support for the questionable device
and see if the item info tells what OS is expected to be present for it to work.

SEVERALS KEYS OF MY WIRELESS KEYBOARD SUCH -A- -S- AND OTHERS TDO NOT WORK ANYMORE. I NEED TO REPLACE MY KEYBOARD? IT BELONGS TO A HP TOUCHSMART 520 PC

It's possible that there is debris under the keys which is preventing them from functioning. If so, this can be solved using one of the following methods:
Blow out the debris using compressed air
Remove the keys, clean underneath, then re-attach keys

HP DV4 1413TX Keyboard does not work properly

I am using a laptop serie HP DV4 1413TX. After installing Windows 7 (Ultimate) and vietnamese keyboard driver, the keyboard stop work properly.
With a normal speed of typing, the cursor's movement is unpredictable. It can go up, go down and sometimes change the active window.
Selection sometimes appear over typed charaters. I have no idea to solve this problem except typing slowly and carefully looking after the cursor position.
Very appreciate suggestions of experts or anyone having experiences with this problem.

Keyboard layout switching does not work properly when set to switch per document

I have two input languages (U.S. / Bulgarian - Phonetic) and I am having problems when using the "Automatically switch to a document's input source" option (available in the Input Sources prefs pane).
The problem is that when I switch applications (using CMD + Tab) the input is not changed to the correct one, until an input field in the new application is selected. If I don't manually select an input field, the language will remain whatever it was with the previous application I used. As a consequence, none of my shortcuts work, as they are defined in the U.S language, and not in Bulgarian.

does this problem appear immediately after buying the machine? Maybe its a good idea to recover the machine, perhaps it could be a software issue.
On the other side it sounds a little bit like a hardware related problem so if the recovery doesnt brought you joy then you should contact a local service partner for help.

Insert SQL does not work properly when called using CALL

I have a stored procedure (TEST_SP) which is used to insert a record in this perticular case. The SQL statement is 2526 characters long. I'm using

Dashboard does not work properly when using Word

This problem occurs persistently. If I am typing something in Word and want to switch over to my Dashboard to use the dictionary or write on a stickie note, two things may happen. If the widget is already selected and ready to be used, then nothing will happen and I can use it properly. However, if I want to click on multiple widgets, then my dashboard will quickly slide over and go back to Word as if I had chosen to exit Dashboard. This only happens when I use Word. Why is this happening and how do I fix it??
It is frustrating to try and type something in Word, go to my Dashboard to use the dictionary, only to be flung back to Word. The only found remedy is clicking on the desktop and then going to the Dashboard to use my widgets.

I opened my Word for Mac 2011, opened a document, and Then opened my Dashboard on top of that and used the Dictionary to look up a definition, and changed the month on the Calendar widget, and changed my stock graph interval. It all worked just as it was supposed to: fine. You apparently have a corrupted file somewhere. I do not know where.

My iPod does not work properly when plugged into the computer. How to fix?

I have a 4th generation 40 gigabyte iPod, non-color.
Today, I plugged it into my computer to update my playlists.
My iTunes and Windows were lagged down. Eventually, when things caught up, my iTunes didn't show my iPod as being connected. I looked in My Computer, and it didn't say iPod -- it said "Removable Disk". I couldn't disconnect my iPod via Windows, even using the Safely Remove Hardware didn't work.
After looking around here and trying things like Disk Mode and Resetting the iPod, nothing worked. I can't get the iPod to work with the iPod Updater so I can try restoring it.
I dunno really what to do. If it's a hardware problem, then I'm not going to bother to get it repaired, since the music that's currently on it plays perfectly fine still.
I just dunno what else to try.

you basically are stuck. apple won't do crap for you. i went to the apple store today because my second ipod crashed (the first one they replaced) and they won't do anything for me and told me i had to buy a new one (2 in 1 1/2 years is what happened) so they wanted me to buy a third one when their product obviously *****. and the manager even basically admitted that the ipod that they claim is durable and relible isn't. that people go through 3-4 a year. the supposed "apple genius" told me to send it out to a third party repair. he wouldn't even look at it and lectured me for not getting the extended warranty. if you look at the website below and read you'll find that a lot of people got screwed over like me with the extended warranty;

JScrollpane does not work properly when I interlinked to another Scrollpane

I am trying to develop a small Editor using java Swing. I hav to display Line numbers also. for that i used another textarea and set the scrollbar model of that to the scrollbar model of text area where i type the programs. the module works perfectly in the first appearance.. scrolls same time..but the problem arises when i insert a new line into or delete a new line from the text area. when i am inserting or deleting the scrollbar of the prgram text area scrolls down immdtly after the insertion or deletion...
I tried a lot to solve the problem. Please help me...

I hav to display Line numbers ...Whatever component you use to display the line number you should add the component directly to the scroll pane that contains your main text area. You do this by using the scrollPane.setRowHeaderView(). I've posted several example of this if you search the forums.

Reminder does not work properly, when using multiple lists

I am using Reminders on my iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.. I am using several Lists for Reminders, such as Job, Home, General et cetera.. Everytime I am not using the standard List, set a Reminder in the future and save the event, the event will be displayed on the standard List with the current timing. Very annoying as I need to amend the Reminder for a second time.
