Yes, any work that didn't save from the built-in saves of the program (if any were turned on).  You should regularly save documents you modify before working with them live.   Since this question is related to Keynote, I've asked this thread be moved to:

Where more people might know if there are workarounds or temporary file locations that might save information that you can recover.
It may vary by version, as Apple started making a new feature called Versions available that saves every change as it is made.
