You may want to look at Knowledge Base Document #58042 on A flashing question mark appears when you start your Mac.
Do you have access to another Mac? You may want to backing up your files via Target Disk Mode (TDM) as well as running some utilities (Knowledge Base Document #58583 on How to use FireWire target disk mode.
You may want to invest in a utility like DiskWarrior from Alsoft. It is great for troubleshooting drive malfunctions.
As said before, you may also want to bring your iBook to your local Apple Store/Reseller.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Help! bootcamped window pro 7 ok BUT driver / setup flash drive seemed to correctly install drivers, nvidia etc etc BUT on windows login screen i have no mouse or keyboard , have plugged in logitech usb mouse and keyboard still no good please help

i used a correctly formatted drive for the driver downloads, they seemed to install but now i have no input method to login to wondows7.

1. I have tried copying the Keyboard/Trackpad/Mouse drivers to the $WinPEDriver$ directory with mixed success on a 2012 MBP.
2. My experience is based on a 2013 rMBP. You may be able to use an Apple USB Keypad/Mouse to better success.
3. See http://www.macworld.com/article/2460820/macbook-pro-mid-2014-review-minor-update -offers-slightly-better-cpu-performance.html for HW differences between the two machines.
4. If you have access to a 2013 rMBP, I can suggest trying to build the USB on that and working with the USB to see if you can make it install Windows. the rMBP 2014 and rMBP 2013 have the same HW, except some CPU changes. You can also try building the USB at the nearest Apple store, if possible.
5. There is a section in AutoUnattend.xml, which is supposed to install all drivers in $WinPEDriver$ (see this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2686316 )

I use RAW files from a Canon 1d Mark 4 and a 1dX. When I open the images they briefly look like the preview thumbnail and then suddenly lose about 1 stop of light, lose sharpness and turn slightly green. Please help

I have used Aperture since it was launched and have for the last 4 years , only shot RAW . I have not encountered this problem before , but it is ruining my photography and would I therefore love some help please .

William , thank you. I feel that the loss of half to one stop of exposure is the easiest issue to remedy. How do I fix the green tinge and the loss of sharpness ? I assume I merely use Aperture or a plug-in to re-sharpen the photos and adjust the colour balance back to the originals . Is there a fast way of doing this in bulk , as I have a project with several thousand files ?
By the way...I sort of understand that HTP can change the colour range and the exposure ( I think !! ) , but why does it soften the sharpness ?

Since updating to iOS 6 on my ipad i am unable to connect to the internet, itunes or the app store. I have tried many suggestions about changing the dat, logging in/out of itunes etc but nothing has worked! Please help :)

Since updating my ipad to iOS 6 a few days ago i can't seem to get onto the internet, the app store or itunes, nor can i update to iOS7!! I sent an email to apple support and they said we don't handle these issues and redirected me back to the help forums which i have already seen and tried everything other people have suggested and nothing has worked (changing date, signing in/out of itunes etc). When i go to app store the screen is blank, in itunes it just keeps saying loading but never gets anywhere and same with the internet! When i go to settings to update to iOS 7.0.4 it says software update unavailable, try again later. Not sure what to do now. Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. I have tried seemingly everything and my phone will not connect. I have reset network settings, rebooted my modem, tried the series of steps listed starting with turing on airplane mode...nothing has worked. I have time warner internet service and it connects just fine with my mac and my husband's ipad and LG phone. I have tried typing in my network name but it always says "could not find the network", which is frustrating when I'm using "the network" to google search this issue. Please help!!! Thank you!!

D13, thanks for these details. This an awesome clue. Are you able to connect to this Wi-Fi connection with other devices? Let's try a few steps to resolve this issue.
First, reset the network in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network and power your device off/on.
Secondly, delete the Wi-Fi connection in Settings>Select your Wi-Fi>Forget this Network and the try to connect to that Wi-Fi again.
Lastly, try creating your Wi-Fi connection. Tap Settings>Enable Wi-Fi ON. From Choose a Network, select Other. Enter the Wi-Fi network name. Select Security. Select the Wi-Fi network type then select Other Network. Enter the Wi-Fi network password then select Join

My iPad keeps on flashing on recovery mode and nothing will work. PLEASE HELP.

So I was on my iPad and all of a sudden it turned black then blue, it would take snapshots of the iPad but not fully open. If I hold any buttons down, the logo for iTunes and charger shows up but flashes repeadlty. If you know a solution please help I will be VERY thankful.

When you say that you saved your photos to iCloud, are you referring to doing an iCloud backup? If you are attempting to recover from an iCloud backup over Wi-Fi, the process can take a long time to complete.
The restore process is taking a long time to finish.
The amount of time needed by the restore process depends on your geographical location and the speed of your Internet connection. Even with a fast Internet connection, the restore process might take 1 to 4 hours per gigabyte to complete.
