What two countries are you living in? Are certain apps you have downloaded in one country not available in the other? The only solution I can see is to start new with a new apple ID or you can use one of e two you currently have. What do you mean "And now to boot I am unable to buy anymore apps as I appear to always be on the wrong country." This could be a problem with the firmware in which a restore may be necessary. My Toshiba laptop can't start up. An indicator light is on even if the laptop is off.
Hello. I am a bit nervous about my laptop now. Last night I hibernated my laptop. For the next 24 hours, I turned it on and it shows a weird condition. It will open and shows the logo of toshiba then suddenly shuts down with a slight "beep" sound. So I tried removing the charger, removing the battery, pressing the power button for 60 seconds. After placing the battery again, the orange led indicator for battery opens and was changed into white. Take note: the laptop is off. Kindly help me with this. I don't know what to do. The laptop won't start, it is a toshiba satellite. I am avoiding to spend money for laptop repair. Please help.

Can't start gnome-session after system update.
hi all
I have done a whole system update .
pacman -Syu
and now I can't start the desktop environment.
I tried to delete the xorg.conf and create new 1 and then copy it to /etc/X11
X -configure
but that didn't work.
and when I am trying to create new xorg file I got an error message telling me that the number of screens detected is not matched , I am using a laptop .
I checked ~/.xinitrc and /etc/rc.conf and everything is right.
any suggestion??

and I can't log in, I just got the black screen and when launching startx I got the gnome shell session but after 2 seconds of that I got a failure in Gnome and have to log out.

What can I do? My laptop displays this message when I switch it on.."The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please check your BIOS setup options to see if they change.

I used to sync my iphone to a laptop which is no longer in my posession. I am now looking to start over and have a new itunes on my pc with no music on it. When i connect my iphone up to the new itunes it doesn't recognise it or sync - can anyone help me?
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

Restarting my iPad didn't work and I can't delete the notes app, since it's one that came with the iPad (I'd lose all my notes that way, anyway). Someone mentioned once that when they synced it with their laptop their notes started working again, but I'd never backed it up to my laptop before, only iCloud.

Fixed it -- go to Settings - General - Reset and select "Reset All Settings." Still annoying, because now you have to go back and re-do all of the ways you customized your settings, but at least Notes is back.
Now if only they'd fix this major "connect to itunes to use push notifications" alert bug that's a constant irritant in some apps and disables others (Dropbox, I'm looking at you) completely. -

I was wondering if someone can help me. I have a MacBook Pro, it has came up saying I need to free up space on the disk as it full every time it starts up, so I log in and no icons or applications show up on the screen just my background wallpaper, the only thing I can do is the force quit keyboard shortcut but there is nothing to quit, I have tried to start up in safe mode but again there is no icons in the desktop,
I have my disks that came with my laptop I have went into disk utility to repair disk and I still seem to have the same problem .. No icons or apps or anything lol just the cursor I can only shut down the laptop via power but and the press shut down.
Please help I am going out my mind with this thing :(

Here's what the recovery looks like. You have 5 options to help you. The Dos option can really help if you are familiar with Dos. In Dos you can do a chkdsk---sfc /scannow--- and a whole lot more. Start with the Repair option first and work your way down.

I just bought a new Mac Book Pro and did a migration of the content of the old laptop (also a Mac Book Pro) to the new one. Now I cannot start Photoshop CS6.
