Hi,
One thing can help is the following. Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select 'Playback Devices'. Left click the default device once to highlight it ( it's usually 'speakers & headphones' ) then click the Properties button. Click the Enhancements tab and put a tick in the box next to 'Loudness Equalization'. Click Apply to save the change and then click OK in all remaining windows and see if this has helped at all.

problem:
I made broken packages: tomcat6 and jedit-devel and uploaded them to AUR. After that I can't upload new version those packages because AUR says 'Could not create directory /home/aur/unsupported/blahblahblah'. But I can update other packages.
So.
question:
Who can totally remove this broken packages from AUR filesystem? And I will upload new ones.

I have saved my itunes Library to an exteranal drive, can I plug that drive into my Time Capsule and tell my itunes to access the music from there?

With the last upgrades my Firefox has lost all sound, how can I get it Back?.

I Upgraded to OpenSUSE 13.1 a few months ago. Firefox lost the ability to give me sound with Utube video's. I tried the Tumbleweed upgrade system, but it was not to my liking. So I have done a fresh install from DVD, and most of what I want is working well. Firefox is not playing sounds, where do I look to see what is missing?

Are other applications able to play sounds? If so, are some things able to produce sound in firefox but not others? For instance, playing a youtube video versus playing an mp3 (which would be easy to test by providing a file:// link to a mp3 on your hd) versus playing a wav or ogg file.
If firefox is simply unable to play any of these things at all, you may be missing a vital plugin. If it is able to play videos for you but not the associated audio, try starting firefox from a terminal and check to see if there is any output to the terminal (on startup or when playing a audio/video file) that might be relevant.
If nothing above seems to shed any light on things, you may also want to try running ldd on it as well (in a terminal, try typing ldd $(which firefox) and look for missing libraries).

Who Can Make Airprint Work?

I can't.
I have an original iPad, and an HP LaserJet Pro 1606dn with the most recent
firmware update (connected to my Mac via Ethernet, as HP recommends).
Still, I get the "no printers found" message when attempting to print from the iPad.
According to Apple and HP this printer is Airprint capable.
Are there settings I need to change in:
1.) System Preferences,
2.) The HP Printer Utility, or
3.) the WiFi router's settings pane?
(These network configurations far exceed my capability.)
If you have some wisdom in this matter, I'll be very grateful, as I've burned up many hours
so far, trying to do something HP makes sound simple.

There's practically no decent documentation from HP on Airprint; and they've revised the LJP 1606dn manual since the firmware upgrade.
Somewhere I remember HP instructions that said " ...you have to be connected to the printer via an Ethernet cable to use Airprint" ... and " ... you cannot print from a Mac directly to the printer using Airprint... " so I remain hypercaffeinated and discombobulated.
You may be correct that "wireless functions are disabled on most HP printers when you connect an Ethernet cable... " but, if true, that would suggest that I'd have to unplug (to print from the iPad), and then replug to print from the Mac.
While I'm prepared to accept this given my experience with HP recently (and this printer in particular), I still have to try that.

I woke up today around 9:30 am UK Time, checked my emails on my phone and then started playing "Talking Ginger" kids game because of one of the offers, around 10:00 I noticed an email alert on top of my iphone screen about itunes receipt.
When I opened this, it was about "Kids Song Collection" purchase reciept for £1:49.
I was shocked because first of all my 3 years old daughter is sleeping, secondly I have security settings configured in iphone with a complex password to purchase and she does not know that password and thirdly I am using the phone and I know I didn't even open App Store or that app so how come this has happened. I did a search on google about how to report and tried to follow the process through itunes but every time I click on "report a problem in itunes" this opens a new apple page in firefox "http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/"
Whilst further browsing Purchase History in itunes I also noticed another purchase from yesterday about "FireWorks Arcade" and this was unbelieveable because I didn't even receive any receipt yesterday about that purchase and again I am the only one who can make purchases due to the complex password known only to myself.
I am not sure what is going on here, but clearly as per today's incident it seems that apple is loosing their control.
Please advise what can be done here.

You can change the email address of one's appleID...
I'd recommend changing moms email to yours to get a good backup on the Mac
Then switch mom's back to hers
Then change your account to the same email you used.
I've done something similar when I needed to update my Apple account (one ID changing email addresses and phone)
