My laptop is not charging at all and no green light is showing up on the charger?

I have had my laptop for 5 months! It has worked perfectly ever since I bought it... Today I went to charge it and it's not working... It won't charge at all... The green light on the charger is not lighting up. I have checked the plugs and they are fine so it's either the charger or the laptop! Is there anything I can do... I'm left with 8% battery?

You are under warranty. Go to the Apple store and get a new charger or have the MBP fixed. (bring you charger with you)

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
How are you charging it? its's best charged plugged into the wall not via USB. So if you're trying via USB, try using the supplied power block plugged into the wall.

Look the dock connector on your iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corred contacts, foreign material and cracked/broken plastic.
Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears..
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Your problem description is generalized and non-specific. I would make another appointment at the Apple store and insist they help you execute their suggested fixes.

More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

unfortunately, that does not address my question. your link describes how to clear the missed section of center. I know how to clear the missed section of notification center, as I said in the original question. I will re-peat my question to clarify. it is:

the behavior I would expect would be that when i click the circle on the "today" view. it would clear it out from the missed and all view so i would not have to clear in 2 areas.
