My late wife is the admin for Itunes but my stuff is on the file how do i change the uid

my late wife used the laptop and now I do. the apple uid is her old email how do i correct it to mine. I have synced my I phone to this computer.

That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.

If it is on the iCloud Activation lock, then theres nothing you can do. But if your talking about the App Store, then go to the App Store, go to the featured tab, and go down to your Apple ID. Select it and press sign out. Then go back to the bottom and sign in.

I have Firefox 11.0 and Windows 5.1 (2007). In Firefox, I click on FILE in the Menu Bar, then OPEN FILE (Ctrl+O), and I see a small box; it says Look in: Mozilla Firefox. Below is a selection of files within the folder Mozilla Firefox. To the left is a column of four other folders: Downloads, My Computer, John, Lori. The last two are obviously two of the folders I've created on my computer, using Windows. But I don't know how they got here! I have no recollection of customizing this particular Firefox menu option by adding those folders, nor can I figure out what to do in order to further customize it. Can anyone tell me: (1) how can I change the original "Look in" option so that it opens with something other than "Mozilla Firefox" (which, after all, I never need to access)? (2) how can I add/delete/change the choices offered in the column on the left, so that different folders are listed? (Currently, if I want to access my Windows folders/files, I first have to minimize the Firefox screen; this seems to me a nice shortcut, but I'd like it to include shortcuts to the folders I use the most, which does not include "Mozilla Firefox"!) This sounds like a Windows thing ( You can post a photo and I can tell you for certain). Those folders are Windows system created folders that your computer has had since it was installed, all Firefox does is use the Windows File picker, which is what you see when you open that window. So, to customize you'd have to do that from Windows Explorer (not Firefox).
The Window should however remember what folder you were in last.

Auntydodo, if all you need to do is to create an account with your name, that's easy enough: use System Preferences, select Users & Groups, click the lock to authenticate, and you can create a new account with your name.
You can delete his account if you wish but there is no harm in leaving it there.
You might want to change the name of the computer, if he gave it a personalized name (like Mr. Auntydodo's MacBook Air) and you want to name it something else. That is accomplished with the Sharing preference.
If your husband created an Apple ID, for purchasing music and apps for example, you can either continue to use his or you can create a new one for yourself. That's another subject.

The App icon for iTunes and Music look virtually the same, so are you looking in iTunes or Music. iTunes Radio is in Music.

You will need to find a place where you can connect the computer to the internet so you can restore the iPhone - no way around that at this point.
Were you using your iPhone's hotspot as the internet connection for the computer to download and install an update on that very same iPhone that was providing the internet connection? If so, honestly, that was not a smart thing to do at all. In order to apply the downloaded update,the phone had to restart and disconnect - it could not possible install an update without doing that.
Regardless, it is now in recovery mode. The only way to recover it is to restore it with iTunes on your computer and that will require an internet connection.

Well if you use the Finder Go menu to Computer, a window opens up double click on your boot drive and then on Users folder, open the other user folder and open Public and drop your files into DropBox
When you do this it will copy them and change the permissions and user assigned to it, so log into the other user and place them into your respective normal folders.
Once you have all your files over and don't need the old user, use System Preferences > Accounts to delete it if you wish, however it's good two Admin accounts on the machine in case something bad happens in the other. Some people for security reasons on use a Standard account for most uses and a emergency Admin account.
One can still do most Admin things in Standard user.
