My Lenovo Windows 7 laptop will only recognize my IPhone5 with lighting connector inserted one way -- it is not reversible

It appears that my new IPhone 5 is not recognized by iTunes unless I insert my lightning connector one way into the USB port. Doesn't appear to be reversible.

I am inserting the USB end into the laptop "one way" as you suggest. I agree that USB has always been that way. My point is I have to insert the lightning end of the cable one way into my iPhone in order for it to work.

If your device is not recognized by iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below. Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > If the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is not listed.

Address on GPS will only recognize highways

I found this out while i was attaching my location to the twitter app and noticed it attached the name of the highway that was 3 blocks away from my location. The gps marker on the map showed the correct location though. I checked this on the maps app and indeed, any location I dropped a pin on will only recognize the main roads/ highways (those with yellow lines). It will never recognize the correct street. This is so frustrating. I tested this outdoors just so I can make sure I get accurate GPS signal. What's wrong here?

It seems like it's a bug on the Maps app on iOS5. Hoping Apple would fix this.

The camera roll is not part of the sync process at all.
You should be importing these photos to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Youc an organize them on your computer and sync the to the iphone if you wish.
The photos sync from the computer to the iphone is one way.
The iphone mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced.

What can I do to boot?

Restart with the Option key held down.
If the internal drive shows up, it's the PRAM battery.
If it doesn't, insert a compatible Mac OS 9 or X install disk, click the button with the circular arrow, and either repair the internal drive or install a new OS on it. If it doesn't show up in Disk First Aid(9) or the Disk Utility(X), it's either not plugged in or needs to be replaced.

Windows XP laptop will not recognize Express card V740

I do not have the original install CD that came with this Qualcom Express card. I have downloaded the Verizon Access manager. The laptop will not recognize the card. In Device Manager there are yellow question marks which indicate the drivers are needed.
I have searched this site as well as the internet and I an unable to find the drivers for this card.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi AtlantaGuy. I am sorry you are unable to find the drivers for your wireless device. I will be happy to help you further. Since you do not have the disc, go to www.vzam.net
Once you do that, on the left, click on "Supported Devices".
Search for your specific device and click on the link under the column with your version of windows.
It will then take you through the steps to download the drivers specific to your device.

Hi. I was unable to install Acrobat 9 on a Windows 8 laptop. I need to do this as all my Adobe product licences are upgrades from Acrobat 9 (Acrobat X pro, Photoshop CS6, Dreamweaver CS6). My product key for Acrobat 9 was not recognised. However, I was able to install all my products on a Windows 7 laptop. No, you do not need to install it. When you come to install the upgrade it will ask for the serial number for the "qualifying product" i.e. Acrobat 9. Be sure to keep this serial and the new one forever as well as any downloaded installers.

My AX is working but my Windows 7 laptop doesn't recognize the network

My network is through a Verizon DSL modem and a LinkSys wireless router on the top floor of a 3-story house, where there is a Mac in use. Coverage extends to the 2nd story, but not to the first, so wanted an extender. The AX was recommended as better than others at the same price. I downoaded the AX Utility on my Windows 7 laptop, plugged in the AX near the stairwell on the 2nd floor, and configured to join the existing network. Light is green, utility says all is well, but there is only the pre-existing network on my wireless network list, and again it doesn't extend to the 1st floor, so the existing network goes dead as I descend the stairs and there is no other network showing up. Should there be a new network appearing as broadcast from the AX? Did I not configure it correctly? Do I need to configure the utility from the Mac? Any help would be appreciated.

Currently Photoshop CC is known to work in Windows 8 without any major issues. However in general if you are planning on Buying a Photoshop Laptop I have some recommendations you should keep in mind:
Current operating systems and background processes plus a web browser can use as much as 2-3GB of Ram alone, Adobe Bridge can use a lot of Ram sometimes as well. While you can get by on 4GB I highly recommend 6-8GB as a minimum for working in Photoshop and closing all other apps including the web browser if at all possible.
Try to get a laptop with dedicated video graphics rather than shared. The new Mercury performance engine is designed to take some the burden off the processor and ram by utilizing the GPU and OpenGL
3D objects when rendered in Photoshop will take up a lot of processing power, make sure you have Dual Core processors at 2.0GHz or better, Quad Core processors are ideal though. I recommend the i7 and a i5 as minimum requirement.

I may be missing something easy, but instead of spinning my wheels I'll ask.
I am new to using the file_watcher in the dbms_scheduler so I followed the directions posted in this link:

Now this works, I can process the file.
But the file_watcher WILL ONLY Pull files that are modified/created AFTER the last run.
Since I am NOT running this in parallel, that means any file not picked up in the initial run will simply sit out there aging.
Am I missing something? I understand that it may be desired behavior to only pick up new files, but our process moves the files out of the directory once they are found. It seems odd that if you do not run it in parallel the file will be ignored forever more.
Am I missing a param?

At the 18:10 run, file1 is picked up and processed
File2 and File3 never get processed or sent to the stored procedure to run (even on the 18:20, 18:30 etc file_watcher runs). however, if I go into file2 and make a change (at 18:35) the 18:40 run will pick it up...
but without manual intervention File3 will never get sent to the stored procedure.
I would expect, at the minimum, that on the first file_watcher job that ran file1 would be picked up, then file2 and file3 and the next subsequent runs (without manipulation).
what I mean about not running in Parallel:
