My LG G3 has terrible call quality.

My LG G3 has terrible call quality. It's fine for first few minutes, but after about 5-10 minutes of call, the person I'm speaking to can't hear me because my sound becomes jittery and /or fades out. I can hear them fine but they can't hear me.

You might Try pulling out the Battery and then removing the sim card for about 10 min. then re-install the Card and re-power the phone see if your call Quality improves..
Note: remove and re-in-stall the card with caution Sim Cards are extremely sensitive in the Gold contact Area..

  • Terrible call quality disappoints

I LOVE my new Charge as a device (except for the terrible battery life, but I can work around that) but am finding the call quality here in Dallas to be unacceptable. Callers are frequently asking me to repeat myself and calls are dropping. Usually I can hear callers fine, but on two occasions they became so garbled I had to get off the phone and use google voice on my computer. I am within my 14 day window with the device and am considering either getting a different device or just switching back to Sprint which is starting to look pretty good from here. I thought switching to Verizon would be a step up. And of course, with Sprint I had complete google voice integration. Any advice?

Well, I don't LOVE my charge but I do like it - I have had it for a week.  Except that Verizon seems to like giving you features on a phone and then slowly taking them away and making you pay for them (tethering, encoding voicemail passwords, tiered usage plans, etc) which isn't related to the individual phone.  That being said, my Charge's call quality is really bad at various times in places where I have always gotten great reception.  I have tried *228 but it doesn't make a difference.  At the VW store, they all acted like they had never heard about bad call quality with the charge.  So they ordered me a new (refurbished) phone.  I went through multiple HTC Tbolts with the last one being unable to latch onto a GPS signal before they decided to move me over to the Charge.  Now I have my doubts about this phone... We'll see tomorrow when the "new" charge comes in the mail.

  • Ideapad U530 camera has terrible image quality

I purchased an IdeaPad U530 touch a few weeks ago and have found the webcam image is terrible.  I am not talking a little dark or a little grainy, I am talking absolutely terrible.  Very blotchy.  It almost looks like it is below 640x480, way below.   Lighting doesn't help.  The computer has Windows 8.1 and there are no settings that I can find anywhere to make any adjustments to the camera image.  They took out the advanced settings in W8.1 camera so I am stuck.   Are there any settings that I can do to fix this?  As it is, the camera is unusable because the image is so bad.  I have looked online high and low to find a solution and I can't find any way to fix it other than buying a USB camera and ignoring the webcam that I paid for when I bought the computer.

I also have a U530 touch with windows 8.1 and the camera is very grainy running the standard camera app.  I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling the camera driver but no change.  I did notice however that the smaller cam preview in skype seems fine and sharp.
Pictures taken with the camera app in windows is grainy but the picture size is 1280x720.  So it is taking pictures as the proper resolution but the quality is unacceptable.

  • Iphone 6 call quality issue....

Hi, yesterday i saw software update in my iphone 6 and i thought it will solve the call quality issue , but unfortunately it was not for that.
Dear iphone support , the call quality in iphone 6 is really bad, I was using iphone 4S and that had great voice quality. iphone 6 voice during call is not clear , it has noise .
When I told my friends about the problem , they told me that I might have bought the refurbish phone. But I bought it from Dubai in 750 USD and I do not think it would be the case.

Since my iPhone 6 has great Call Quality,
My tip would be to take it to an Apple shop. All apple Products have world wide warranty.
If it is really they should be able to fix it.
    Hope this helps,

  • Has the new 2.2 Froyo update fixed the call quality / reception?

For those that have installed the new 2.2 Froyo update, has it fixed the call quality / reception issues?

Thanks guys.  I am debating whether to get the droid incredible or the droid 2.  I heard the droid 2 call quality is muddy/choppy to the listener.

  • Call Quality - O2 UK

I've been experiencing this for about a month now, or maybe longer...
If I answer a call too quick (within 1-2 seconds of it ringing) the call quality will be terrible, so bad you cannot make out the person on the other end. I will hang up and call the person back straight away and the quality will be perfect...
This has happened to 50% of my incoming calls over the past month, both with my older iPhone and my new 3GS on O2 UK. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem on O2 UK?
I was going to post on the O2 forums, but it nearly seems like it's something to do with the phone because signal is usually good.

    Ok, just an update...
I continued to receive & make bad quality phone calls at least once a day so I brought my iPhone into the nearest O2 store to see what they would say. They said they haven't had a customer bring back an iPhone with the problem i'm stating so the only thing they could do is replace my iPhone 3GS for a new one. Problem is that they have none in stock and all O2 Stores in the area are out of stock also.
I said i'd call back again when they have some in stock and before my 28 day right to return expired. Since then i've continued to make and receive at least 1 bad quality phone call a day (about one fifth of my calls are bad quality even though I have full bars signal) and it's getting annoying having to tell the caller that I have to hang up and phone back.
Someone has said that I may have a bad Infinion chip in my iPhone and this statement makes sense because I never had the same problems with my old iPhone and the rest of my family are on O2 and they are not experiencing bad quality calls with Nokia or Samsung mobiles.

  • IPhone 5s, call quality, periodic echo

I upgraded from the iPhone 4 to the 5s 4 months ago.  Ever since I upgraded, I have periodic issues with call quality.  In the middle of a call I will all the sidden start to hear myself talk and the person on the other end cant hear me at all and I cant hear them.  This happens to be in the Atlanta, GA area in the same places on interstate 75.

        jab1820,
Thank you so much for reaching back out to us. Could you please provide us with your mailing zip code? With your iPhone 5s can you please reset your network settings. You can do this by going into Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. Then re-try the call quality after that reset has been completed. Please keep us posted.

  • IPhone Poor Call Quality Without Headphones

I have an iPhone 4s.  When I am working in my home office, the carrier signal level is good - typically three or four bars out of 5.  However, the call quality is sometimes very poor - I can hear the other caller very clearly but they cannot hear me clearly and often say that it sounds like I am talking through a long tube or that my voice has some kind of metallic quality. However, when I plug my earphones in, it all works just fine. The call quality is generally fine in other locations.
I did wonder if this is something do to with the apple ambient noice cancelling system and some kind of interaction with it and the case that I am using but I have tested it with and without case and it makes no difference.
Any suggestions that you might have would be gratefully received.

I did they have know referred me to Apple!!!

  • My iphone 5 is having poor call quality?  Verizon can't figure out why.  Anyone else having problems?

My phone has been working without any problems since I bought it in January.  Yesterday I had a Zagg invisible shield applied to my phone and as soon as I got home, the call quality was horrible.  I could hear people on the other end however, they couldn't hear me, the call would be dropped, or they said I sounded like I was in a tunnel.  I removed the zagg cover and it is still not working like it was before.  I called Verizon and did everything from resetting the network settings, to restoring the phone to factory settings and restoring it from the last back up.  Nothing is working.  I have never had these problems up until yesterday.  Verizon would try calling my cell and it would ring on their side but not on mine.  Very strange.  Phone is up to date on its software.
Anyone else having these issues or know a way it can be fixed???
    Thank you!!!!

    Hello the third!
I placed the <ul> css code you supplied in the main.css file as well. No avail.
But I did just notice there is a tiny thin yellow line between the logo and nameplate graphics at the top and the menu bar. That yellow line disappears in IE8 compatability mode. The graphics sit right on top of the menu bar, as it appears in Dreamweaver, and the margins and such all line up. In regular IE7, the thin yellow line is always there.
I don't know if this helps, but it is something I just noticed while tinkering around.

  • Please help me with this indicator on my screen...it has reduced voice quality

Please help me with the rectangular symbol on the top next to the speaker symbol. It seems that I have turned on some option by mistake and everytime I make or receive a call, this symbol comes up. It wasn't the case earlier.
Because of this my voice call quality has dropped significantly. Please help soon.
    Thanks,

  • TBolt call quality

I am thinking of upgrading to a HTC Thunderbolt and am interested in the users opinions of the phone's voice call quality - thanks.

I have had my TB for over a month and have a chance to use it in both very strong and very weak signal areas.  Yes, I know, digital either works or it doesn't, but weak signals and super strong signals can sure seem to cause glitches.   The TB has worked very well in both type of situations.  If you need some extra volume, there is a hearing aid setting that increases the volume setting.  The sound quality seems to be full and not tinny.   Overall, I am happy with the TB call sound quality.

  • Kyocera Brigadier, awful outbound call quality

Working on the farm and in the woods I thought it would be good to have an indestructible phone in case of an emergency.   Have that supposedly indestructible phone, the Kyocera Brigadier, except no one will be able to hear me if I call 911 for help.
The outbound call quality on this phone is miserable and frequently totally undecipherable by the other party.  In fact I had a Verizon support person ask which phone I was using because the audio was so bad on his end.  He promised to look into the matter, to my knowledge that has not happened.
I have been to the Verizon store to complain and the fix then was a factory reset;  things were better ...for a few days.
Emailed Kyocera the other day, they sent instructions saying to do another factory reset.  Great, except the instructions are wrong as tell you to remove the battery as part of the process.   Can't remove the battery on this phone.  Pointed that out to Kyocera, no follow up.
Net-net, if I do get into an emergency I will have to send a text.

    Hello SwitchgrassFarmer,
Long story short, I had to upgrade my Brigadier's firmware because of a display problem I was having and the update fixed the display but as a bonus my call quality improved. I could always hear everyone, that was never a problem...in fact I have yet to encounter a situation where I couldn't hear someone but the opposite was not true. In the car for example, if I had the windows rolled up it was OK but if I rolled down a window(s) then people on the other end would have trouble understanding me. I tested this and it sounded to me like the phone was picking up literally every sound and broadcasting it to the other person.
The update fixed the display but as an added bonus it helped the call quality. I don't know what or how it did it but I am happy it did. I almost never get complaints any longer. It's worth a shot to make sure you have the new firmware version.
Go to Settings > About Phone and look for Software version.  Make sure it is the 1.723VZ and not 1.102VZ.  As of now, 2/26/2015 the 1.723VZ is the newest to my knowledge.
    I hope this helps.

  • Remove Call Quality Popup

Hello Community: I know this has been hashed before but didn't see anything recently. Do you know if there's anything that can be done about the infamous Call Quality popup. Does the business edition also have this annoying thing? Please, tell me there's some switch to turn it off. Surely at this point Skype has a better way of gather call quality metrics than bugging the users on nearly every call.
    Thanks for any help,
    David

I actually encourage taking a few seconds to click responses.  These statistics - and our ratings - are important to Skype as they assess call routing.

  • MBP Retina FaceTime HD Camera has very poor quality and artifacts.

Hey guys, the camera on my 2012 MBP 15' Retina has ridiculously poor quality. After recieving it I had got major artifacting while using the camera for skype, facetime and Google+. Usually the artifacting would continue (many multi-colored horizontal lines across the screen of the camera) until finally the bars would disappear maybe one or two bars would remain, regardless it was usable. I noticed, however, the quality was attrocious, but I assumed it was just how it was supposed to be (very surprised for a $2300 laptop). Recently my friend purchased the same laptop, after looking at his FaceTime HD camera, I realized mine was simply an attrocious fluke, my camera had ridiculous blurring and grain and awful light sensing. I am still under warranty until November 23rd, 2013. What are your opinions on how to get this resolved?
    Here are some pictures:

Call AppleCare which you should have done from day one.
After recieving it I had got major artifacting while using the camera
You had 14 days from the date of purchase to return your computer.  No questions asked!

  • IPhone 6 Call Quality Issues

    iPhone 6 64gb 8.0
As of yet, I've not been able to make or receive a call without the other person sounding like they're three rooms away. I've turned up the volume on the side and within settings. I've turned the phone off and back on again.
I backed up this phone from my last iPhone (5) so that I have all my personalization and files, etc. on it now. I also took the SIM card from my old phone and put it in my new phone.
Everything else seems to work fairly well. It's just the call quality. I can hear what they're saying, They can hear me, but it seems like the volume is as low as it goes. But I know it's not.
    HELP!

since I received my iPhone 6 Plus on Friday I've noticed that all of my phone calls have very bad audio quality.  i thought it was just when I was talking to someone in a car. But it doesn't matter where they are.
WHat hat does it sound like:
its like a crappy digitized vrry tinny sound. It's as if the ither person is talking on a radio.
