My licensed Photoshop CS6 (extended Education Edition) does not boot, I only get link to join cloud?

When I try and boot my licensed Ed Edition CS6 extended software I just get an ad link to join the cloud?
What is going on?

You're correct, when you get a membership to Photoshop CS6 by itself it is the standard version, versus with Creative Cloud membership it is the Extended version. I didn't find this written out anywhere. I did notice when I clicked the Photoshop picture from here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/cssubscription.html it took me to the Photoshop standard product page versus here it does say Extended http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tools.html and links to the Extended product page.
Where are you seeing this "Learn More" link that takes you to the wrong place (Extended page)? Can you post a screen shot?
This seems like something that should be called out on the first subscription page and here http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/faq.html#subscriptions
I'll see if its possible to get something added and possibly change this Learn More link once I get more info.

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended and Bridge does not open. Help?

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on MAC and Bridge does not open. It did open when I first downloaded it - but now a black question mark is over the BR icon and it does not open up. Any ideas from anyone?

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?
Do I need to DEACTIVATE ANYTHING ANYWHERE?
DOES ANYTHING NEED TO GO INTO TRASH.
I just want to make sure 'everything' related to CS6 Extended is off my computer and out of all the files. In the event i want to re-install - naturally I don't want to run into any conflicting 'issues'.
Do you think if I reinstall I will run into this same problem again (BR not launching)? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?
Thank you so much for trying to help me resolve this issue. It is very frustrating to have an Adobe product that is not completely functional. Especially when the Creative Suites are so expensive. I appreciate all the time you've put into this issue.

Serial number incorrect for Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended education edition

I received a serial number for my Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended education edition, but I get the message: this serial number is not valid for this product.
Apparently it's not possible to send an email to Adobe NL, so I hope someone can help me out.

I've checked your record and it looks like you've been provided with a CS6 serial number instead of CS5.

Do I have to upgrade to Photoshop CS6 Extended to edit videos?

I was looking at a video editing tutorial for CS6 yesterday and I wanted to try it myself, but when I opened the timeline I noticed that my version of the timeline and the one in the video were completely different. At first I thought that it was just because I had to upgrade to CS6 Extended to get the full video editing experience, but when I searched around I saw nothing that would suggest that that would be the case. Multiple people said that the regular CS6 version included the same video editing capabilities as the extended version, and the comparison chart on the Adobe website indicated the same thing. Am I missing something very simple or do I really need to upgrade to the Extended version to get that feature?

You need an open document before you'll see the button for choosing video or frame animation.

Photoshop CS6 content (pictures, etc) will not display (or only partually) on the stage.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but there is no change. The other Adobe products from the Master Suite Collection run fine (Flash, Encoder, etc). I am thinking that my instalation disc may be corrupted. Can you give me any advice?

Most likely the video card driver. Update it in GPU makers website. Need make and model of video card.

I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended on a PC in January of 2013. I recently bought a MAC and want to transfer the program to my new computer. I have deactivated the program on my pc and now when trying to install the program on the MAC, the installation software says that my serial number is not vaild. what other options do I have since product support does not take phone calls on this issue

Reinstalling CS 6 Extended Education Edition

Hello, I have the Photoshop CS6 Extended Education Edition 2013 installed on my laptop. For hardware reasons, I would like to uninstall Photoshop now and install it on another drive. Is that possible with the Education version and the existing serial number or do I need a new serial number@?

you need your serial number.
but you can expect some problems when installing adobe products on drives other than your main drive and there are files that must be installed on your c drive even if the executable is not.

You can start work on your game from the moment you download and complete the installation of the Trial version.
No-one will be standing over you watching what you do or monitoring you remotely or noting when you pay for the software.
You can buy the software at any time during the Trial period. However, after a maximum 30 days of using the Trial, you will have to pay to keep using the software.
Other than that, do what you like with the Trial.
(If you somehow finish the game after 20 days of using the Trial then you can start selling the game even if you have not yet purchased the software.)

Hi! I run Photoshop CS6 extended, student edition and recently, I'm having an error every time I work with Photoshop. Windows Explorer doesn't respond. The screen freezes and it's lagging so much. My software is updated. Windows updates are done as well. I haven't download any new software. Please, is there a way to fix this issue? Thanks to help me out!

Hi, I'm having Videotron security services, I don't know much more about it. It's from my Internet provider, I'm paying every month. I think windows defender is active on my computer. I desinstall the antivirus I had when I bought the computer, I think it was macfee. As I have my own security system, I got rid of it.
The problem is recent, a week or so. Everything was running perfectly. Might it be related to any windows updates?

Installation files of Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CS& Extended are always the same. So just download the Photoshop CS6 through the Download Assistant.
If you buy Photoshop CS6 it will hide all Extended functions, unless you bought Photoshop CS6 Extended ;-)

Downloading Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended License with no internet connection

My office needs to purchase four (4) Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Licenses for four separate/independent computers. These computers in no way can access the internet to download.
I am told by resellers that CD disks are not available for the download, is this correct?
Also, the resellers are telling me that I can purchase a media kit for the download. My question is can 1 media kit complete all four downloads or would I be required to purchase 4 media kits. We are receiving different responses from the resellers we have contacted.

You can download and burn the trial of Photoshop CS6 to disc or you can purchase one physical copy of the software. The installer does not count how many times you install. The serial number you receive with your purchase is what allows you to license and utilize your software.
