My local skype to go number (Chile) is not working

Hi,
i am paying monthly for my local skype number 56 02 570 9567 and it seems that now it is no a functioning number, here. There was a recent change in dialing codes here and i am not sure if that has something to with it. Please help me reset or make it work....

Hi,
I'm one of the users with an old account and one central skype-to-go number with voice menue (a much better system, but that's not the issue now). I used to be able to get an additional local number to use on holidays for example. Just last December I set up an additional number for New Zealand for example. Now I can't find this function anymore. Is it still possible?

Go to your Skype To Go tab in My Account and there change your nearest location to the place were you need another local Skype To Go number.
Then, when you are back the main Skype To Go tab, in the bottom right you will see a link "View old number". That's where you can then find the central number for the new location.

Skype number is suddenly not working for me and my colleagues to RECEIVE outside calls. Any ideas?
When I try to call my skype from my cell, it doesnt ring on either end. It appears connected on the cell phone since the counter clock for the call is increasing, but it doesnt ring or connect.
This is the same for me and at least 2 of my colleagues. It was working all day, till suddenly it did not.
When outside people call, it just gives us a missed call or voicemail email, but does not show a missed call on our skype.
When I call an outside number from skype, it connects.

I think this might have been happening to me earlier. If you wait like 30 seconds when you called a machine said "All circuits are busy. da da da". I was looking for an answer and google only brought stuff from like 2010. It's working now after an hour or so.

I received a tracking number that is not working!

I didn't not pre-order my iPhone 4s 16gb until yesterday afternoon. I immediately got an order confirmation e-mail. Later in the afternoon, I received an email saying that my order had been shipped via USPS and they gave me a tracking number which did not work. I assumed it wasn't working because of the holiday and no mail service. I checked again this morning and it still doesn't work! My bank account has still not been charged for my order, and when I check my order status on Verizon it states that its processing my order and the expected ship date is 10/21/11. Why would I get an email stating that my phone was shipped when everything else clearly contradicts that statement?

Others have reported getting a USPS Tracking #. Did you order any accessories? This would be the most likely explanation. Also note that the USPS is painfully slow in updating its tracking, sometimes its never updages, and other times it updates after the package has arrived. No. Something else is going on.
Your son may be hogging all the bandwidth but your wireless network should never simply disappear. Moreover, if your son isn't doing anything the available bandwidth for other devices should remain unaffected.
I suspect that something is miswired, and from what you describe I suspect that link is between the Extreme and the "other computer".
The way to accomplish what you propose is
Modem > Ethernet cable to Extreme's WAN port
Extreme's LAN ports > wired Ethernet devices.
There should be nothing but an Ethernet cable linking an Extreme LAN port and any other wired device. If you run out of available LAN ports on the Extreme, you need to by an "Ethernet switch" - they are not expensive, but don't call it a "splitter" or you will only confuse yourself. The switch would be connected to one of the Extreme's LAN ports, and you would connect additional devices to it. You can also use one of your Expresses for that purpose, assuming it is the current generation model with two Ethernet ports.

I would check with the Auto dealer where the vehicle was purchased to check and see when the bluetooth software was last updated on your vehicle. With the vehicle being a 2011 and if the software has not been updated since the dropping of IOS 7 then obviously there will be software incompatibilities.

One possible reason why Skype Number does not work is "it already expired". Skype always send email notification on the primary email address of the account about the order confirmation, status of your account/subscription.
I would suggest that you do the following to see the status of your Skype Number:
1. Check the inbox of your primary email address on the account. Skype may have sent you an email notification about the status of your Skype Number.
2. Log in to your account and see if the order for your Skype Number renewal has been delivered. When youlog in to your account in the website, go to Billing and Payments then click on Purchase History. You will see the status of your Online Number renewal, if you dont see the order as Delivered, that means the payment for your Skype Number was not successful.

When I try to open the skype app with my first microsoft account it does not work. It just opens for a few seconds then crashes and I'm sent to the start menu. It works with this one but not with the other can you please help me?

After downloading iOs 7 to my iPad 2 Skype application mic and video is not working? any advice?

I downloaded iOs 7 to my iPad 2 and updated Skype app. After this,m microphone and video are not working. My called party is not able hear me nor see me. Any guidance from the Community?

After updating IOS many people have the same problem that the mic no longer works and Apple say it is a hardware problem. Rubbish! Plug in an apple earphone and then try it. (Apple earphones have 4 sections on the jack plug, must be this type.) Mic works fine so obviously it is a problem in the new IOS and this is a way around it!

Typing special (alt + four number code) characters not working?

For many foreign language and dingbat fonts, a large number of special characters can be accessed only by typing the unicode symbol: hold down ALT and type a four-digit code.
For some reason, under Leopard, typing the four-digit code just gets me the "bonk bonk" error sound and no special characters.
Short of spending $50 on software made to browse unicode (like PopChar X), how can I type special characters under Leopard?

Normally one would use Character Palette (Edit > Special Characters) or an alternative language keyboard layout (system prefs/international/input menu). The Unicode Hex layout and typing Option/Alt plus the Unicode hex number would be the last choice.
What app are you trying to do this in? Some non-Apple apps might not work right. Also don't forget to hold down the Option/alt key while you type the numbers.
If you do not get the Character Palette when you do Edit > Special Characters, the fix is:

If there are certain characters you need all the time, let us know what they are and we might be able to suggest a custom keyboard layout.

Charger with serial number A1300 is not working for iPhone 5, is it?

I have an issue charging my new iPhone 5. I bought an extra cable - and they seem to both work when pluggin it into any computer. But one of my chargers will not work with it - but it works if I plugin my iPhone 4. How come? I noticed that the serial number is A1300. I borrowed one from a friend with serial number A1400 - and that worked (with the same cable).
can I conclude that chargers with serial numbers A1300 don't work for iPhone 5?

Any iPhone or iPad charger should work with the iPhone 5. There is something wrong with your charger. If it is the one that came with the phone it is covered by the phone's warrantee.

BE WARNED - just because you are being asked to upgrade your Skype, it does not mean it will work on your machine. I am a fairly regular user of Skype and this morning was unable to log-in, being told that I needed to upgrade. I did so to 6.3.0.602 but I was unable to log-in once the software had downloaded. After some research on the forums and finally a text chat with Support, I was told that Skype 6.3.0.602 requires a Mac OSX of 10.9 or above - I have 10.5.8
"So what can I do", I asked the tech support. The answer is nothing (unless I get new OS X software) - there is no Skype software programme that supports my operating system and no timeframe for when it might be available.
Huh? That's right. It's just not available. So for now, users with less than OS X 10.9 will be unable to use Skype when they are instructed to upgrade. It really doesn't make sense. But just so you know....

Here you will read that the latest versions of Skype will not work on some of the versions of MacOS, and that PPC requires one version, Leopard another, Snow leopard another, Mountain Lion another. They are indoctrinated with a stamp in their forehead to enforce their congregation of true believers to install the latest with all "security fixes" or death is looming. They are not used to software that is 2 years old.
So, with Mac, we have different operating systems and different sets of libraries - and things may go belly up if you upgrade - a OS feature is done differently, a libary has been placed inside the OS, and is no longer needed - and if you try to use it, you will be trapped.
Install the latest version that works for your Mac, and make sure to freeze this. Update the "info.plist" file and tell Skype that you use their latest should they pry. As long as it works, do not change anything!
And make the change to stop Skype from checking every time you start.

Local Admin add with GPP netbios name not working

I am trying to add domain users to be a local admin on certain machines. This however is not working with some machines critereria of the GPP.
For example: there is a GPP who adds the administrator to the local admin and deletes the ones already there. Then there follows a few other users with criteria: member of the security group laptopusers or other security groups. Also have added a user and
the criteria is netbios name of the computer. The member was immediatly added after a restart of that client.
There is also a group in AD and added members to that group that are local admin on every machine so there is no criteria. This is working fine. WHen i add all users to this group all users are local admin everywhere. Was tested.
However i have several users that do not be added to the local admin when the criteria is: netbiosname is ... Although when i give the command on the client: ipconfig /all the netbios name is exactly the same.
Looked in the winlog and it looks like a problem with the machines names or usernames. But how to solve it?
Which other cirteria i can use to add a member to local admin on a specific machine.
The GPP is beneath the computer preference and in AD beneath a computer OU.

Ok :) I know that these GPP debug logs are kind of "insufficient" in
terms of debugging ILT filtering issues, because there's absolutely
nothing about the filter evaluation in them...
In a quick test I ran right now, it worked without a problem. So it
seems you most probably will be out of luck in this forum, because it is
not a general issue.
BTW: Did you type in the name or did you select it through the object
picker button ("...")? Maybe this filter is case sensitive?

I jhave give in the name and then check name so he gets the name from AD. I have done that again to see if it works now. The strange thing is that it works well on some systems and not for some other systems...

Number keypad will not work in fillable forms. The numbers on the keyboard work fine. Any ideas?

I have a couple of customers who can not type numbers into a fill-able form only when using the number pad. It works fine when entering numbers from the main keyboard.
It's not the NumLock Key. I have also tried setting the Touch Mode to Never. Any thoughts?
