It's not an Apple issue and Apple has nothing to do with it.
The only way to buy an iPhone officially refurbished by Apple is to buy it from an Apple store or via Apple's website.
Refurbished iPhones sold via other retailers are not refurbished by Apple.
Sounds like Wireless Wave did all they could... they refunded your money.
Your only issue is with them. Stop getting all worked up over it.

iphone 4 has a black scrren which will display the apple logo and appears to be at start up but then blacks out for approx 10 seconds and then displays apple logo again. Same action over and over.
I have attempted hard reset but cannot complete. Also attempted to connect with itunes and it does not recongize device.
Device is frozen in this display loop. Have an appointment with genius bar tomorrow but it's a 2.5 hour round trip so suggestion appreciated.Your device may need to be restored as new in iTunes (instead of restored from a back up as it seems that there is a software issue on your phone).
If your phone is not able to connect in iTunes try forcing recovery mode (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808)
* power off your phone.
* Hold the home button while connecting your phone to iTunes. You should see the connect to iTunes window and your computer should give you the recover mode alert.
*Restore your device as new. Being sure not to restore from a previous back up.
You will then want to sync your information back to your device from Outlook, iCloud, Google or wherever your information is stored. -
My home button is not working sometimes and at the store they dont want to take it for repair because the problem did not show up at that time
When normally powering the phone, there would not be a loading bar, you would just see the Apple logo. You can try a reset of the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot.
You can take the phone to Apple, by making an appointment at the Genius Bar to have the hardware checked. Apple handles warranty and post-warranty issues, not Verizon. Have Apple look at the hardware to see if there are any problems. -
Technician did not show up and nobody has contacted me
I haven't had a dial tone and created a ticket for my repair service for 2/24/2014. I was told that I HAVE TO BE IN MY HOME when a technician comes. But I rescheduled my appointment to 2/25/2014 later on. Verizon called me six times during the past weekend to confirm the 2/25/2014 appointment. Today, 2/24/2014 a technician called me at 11:30 AM and told me he is coming to my house because his schedule shows my appointment is on today after 3:00PM. I told him he can come today instead of tomorrow. I left my work. I waited and waited and waited. He did not show up. I called the repair service for his status and learned that he is working at the central office and will call me to let me know what time he will show up tonight. Nobody called me back. I called the repair service again and again. Eventually, a person I spoke to said now my schedule had been rescheduled to 25th without notifying me. Nobody can come to my house today. He also told me that I DON'T HAVE TO BE IN MY HOUSE FOR THIS ISSUE. Verizon found out the problem is outside my house from the central office and nobody has to come in to my house. But I left my work for your technician today. I told him I need to talk to his supervisor about the whole miscommunication. He told me his supervisor will call me in 15 minutes. Of course no body has called me.
What I want to know is can you improve your communication issues here?
I also want to know you can really fix my home line without me being home tomorrow. If I have to be in my home, can you be absolutely sure to honor your appointment so that I don't need to leave my office for waiting for someone may not show up.
Or, if he does need to come in to my house, can you give me the priority for weekend schedule or the first appointment in the morning so that my work don't suffer anymore?Hello loosing,

I lost power to my MacBook Pro before I had saved anything that I was working on...usually I plug my computer it and power it back on and the documents pop right back up when the computer turns on. That did not happen this time. How can I recover my documents?

Apple said to update ical. I guess I waited too long because my calendars and all my events disappeared. I tried syncing with my iPhone and it deleted my calendars off my iPhone. Double clicking on a calendar invite does not work either, it won't open or populate my ical. I requested an update through Mobileme to get ical working again and nothing..... It does not appear to want to update or start working again. Is this an issue with Apple ical in general?

Phones purchased in UAE do not have facetime installed because it is banned in UAE and several other countries in the area. It's not just a network block; the capability is missing from the phone.

I ordered a ringtone that came as a song and did not appear in a position status to be added. It did not show up but came purchased as a song and now asking me to add it to a playlist. This is not what I wanted to do and I promptly follow the prompt to "Buy more options" to get what I thought was a ringtone. Please help!
The ONLY place to buy a ready made ringtones is from the iphone itself from the itunes app, then "More">"Ringtones"
If you bought from your computer, then you need to create the ringtone. You can create a ringtones from just about any song/sound file for free.
Google will find several ways to do this. -

When syncing my Outlook calender with my iphone calender, only items from Outlook synced. Events I added to my iphone calender did NOT show up on my Outlook calender. Is this the way it works, only one way?
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar and just confirm that you haven't selected a calendar such as the one listed under On My iPhone (if that's listed), and that your have selected your Outlook calendar here as your default. Assuming you have, if you are syncing your calendar using iTunes (rather than iCloud), you may need to reset your sync history in iTunes. Backup contents not showing during Time Machine system restore
I just installed a new hard drive on my Macbook Pro so I'm trying to restore a backup of my old hard drive that was saved on a USB-connected external drive (model: LaCie Minimus). However, when I try to transfer the information during system setup, my backup is not showing as part of the external drive's contents. Only the backup information of two other computers are showing up, but not mine (my computer is called 'Hannah Mercader's Macbook Pro'):
However, if I plug the external drive into another laptop to view its contents, my computer's backup information is clearly in the external drive:
I am positive that I have been backing up my laptop properly using Time Machine. However, the last time that I did try backing up my laptop, it didn't work because my hard drive had failed in the middle of the process (hence the reason for needing to install a new hard drive). I've already tried to Repair the external drive using Disk Utility... everything seems OK but my backups still aren't showing when I try to set up my laptop.
Please help me to restore my last proper backup's contents!Most likely, some folders were excluded from your backups as the result of a failed or aborted software installation.
Starting from a clean installation of OS X, set up a new administrator account and log in. Enter Time Machine and press the key combination shift-command-C. The front window will show all mounted volumes. All snapshots should now be accessible.* Select the one you want and navigate to your home folder (in the Users folder at the top level of the old startup volume.)
You should now be able to restore your user data. I suggest you do this in two stages. Quit all applications except the Finder before you begin.
Restore all the visible items at the top level of your home folder.
Hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar. Enter Time Machine and restore all items in the Library folder. Log out and log back in as soon as the restore is complete.
Any other invisible folders or files at the top level of your home folder that you want to preserve will have to be restored separately. For most users, that isn't necessary.
You'll have to reinstall all third-party applications from scratch, or restore them from another kind of backup, if you have one.
You'll have another problem if this is a new computer, or if you erased the startup volume: The next time you back up, Time Machine won't recognize any files as being the same as they were before, and will make a full copy of all files. There might not be enough space on one or more of your backup volumes for that. There are different ways of dealing with that situation, depending on your needs. The easiest way is to set your backup drives aside, if possible, until you're sure you'll no longer need the data on them, then erase them and start over. Meanwhile start a new backup on one or more empty storage devices. If that solution isn't workable for you, ask for instructions.
*If you don't see any snapshots in Time Machine, exit the time-travel view and then hold down the option key while selecting
